Zero no ambassador: my harem

Zero Enchanting My Harem Chapter 151.

"It's fine. With that [Earth Cracking Landslide], you're the first to take credit for this southern battle."

"Hey, it's not over yet. I'm going back to rest first."

"Well. You guys protect the academy chief, double the number of soldiers you protect, and transfer 6 more members of the Magic Knights to protect. Go."

"Yes." The soldier nodded and assisted Osman down to rest.

Hao Tian also walked away to gather his troops, count the casualties, and interrogate the prisoners.

Chapter 48 - Negotiating a Change of Command

In the earthquake caused by Othman, the city [Tot] was reduced to ruins, and Glenn was still alive when he was dug out of the ruins by the Torristine army because he was able to escape quickly and had a personal escort.

The soldiers rescued him based on his guards' assumption that he might be a man of honor. Then they reported to Hao Tian.

When Hao Tian arrived at the tent where Glance was being held, he had changed his clothes and was sitting there calmly.

"Tell me, what identity are you?"

Hao Tian sent out a question.

Glance looked up to examine Hao Tian a few times and actually smiled.

"Hao Tian, fiancé of the third daughter of the Valier family, lover of Queen Anrietta, what is your position in the allied forces? Othman command or you command?"

Hao Tian narrowed his eyes and stared at him for 2 seconds, making a wink at the surrounding soldiers.

The soldiers around Glenn instantly attacked and beat him, making Glenn unable to speak in pain.

For about 2 minutes, Hao Tian waved his hand. The soldier stopped beating on Glens.

"You must understand that you are a prisoner. You can only answer my questions, and you have no right to ask questions."

"Cough cough, eh?" Glance looked up and smiled.

"What if I told you that Duke Valliere wasn't dead?"

Hao Tian's color turned cold and stared at him.

"The Duke is in your hands?"

"Anyway, untie me first, then bring in some food and drink. We'll take our time talking."

Glenn felt like he had some leverage.

Hoshi chuckled softly, "Do as he says, and bring me in a dinner too."

The soldier untied him and left the tent to bring back the food, then left Hao Tian and Glens behind.

Glens started eating slowly and carefully.

Hao Tian sat across from him and began to eat as well. The portions were three times larger than Glance's.

"You're in command of Goliath's advance guard, aren't you?"

"Well, almost. I'm the captain of his own troops, and I know where he's keeping Duke Valliere."

"Yeah. You lead me to the Duke, and I'll let you back in. A life for a life makes sense, right."

"Hey, how does that compare. Duke Valier is your father-in-law, and I'm just a little soldier. You should give some additions anyway."

"This thing called life is only as expensive as your own, right?"

"You're too cheap."

"There are many more captured soldiers, perhaps there are others who know the Duke's location."

"You-okay, I'll take you to the place where the Duke is being held. But how do you promise to put it where I go?"

"You're just a little soldier, aren't you, so do I have to embarrass you?"

"You can't say that, after all, your own little life is most precious."

"Oh, I will take you there alone. When I meet the Duke, I'll let you go. So if you still won't agree, I'll have to ask someone else."

"All right, I promise."

"Hurry up and eat, we'll leave later."

"What a hotheaded fellow."

Hao Tian and Glens rode quietly away from the camp, crossing over the ruins of the city of [Tot] and heading towards the Goliath side of the city. Geria didn't build cities for defense in the Geria-Toristine border, but there were still some cities and villages that were settled.

The Duke of Valier was held in a small village by one hundred of Glance's own men.

The village was no more than fifty families with no more than two hundred people, and Duke Valier was imprisoned in a church in the middle of the village. With Glens leading the way, they soon arrived outside the nameless village. Tying their horses to the trees outside the village.

"One hundred men? Maybe I should have brought some troops."

"That's not a problem for you Captain of the Griffins, is it?"

"Do you know much. Keep leading the way."

Late at night, the villagers had gone to sleep. Only that church still had light.

Glenn walked in front of Hao Tian, and had the urge to shout that he might be able to command 100 people and leave this guy behind. But the oppressive feeling coming from Hao Tian behind him made him suppress this urge. Even if he woke up those 100 people, he would be the first to be killed; it would be better to let him just leave Valier, who was going to take Valier back, he shouldn't have the time to kill 100 people to protect himself.

"Captain Hao Tian, the people are in the room on the second floor."

"Yeah? Wouldn't you be useless then?"

"Just kidding, I can probably get them to let the guy out."

"Oh, is that so?"

Glance took several deep breaths and yelled, "I'm back, get that guy out of here."

Alarmed, rustling and clanking soldiers changed into sword and armor and poured out of the church. The general held a burning torch for illumination.

"Ah, General." The lead soldier looked at Glance in alarm.

"Oh? General." Hoshi used the Dever against Glance's back, sparing the taste.

Inside, Glenn cursed the man out.

"It's me. Get Valier out of here quickly."

"Yes, General. Go and bring that guy out."
