Zero no ambassador: my harem

Zero Demon Envoy's My Harem Chapter 160

After many dangers along the way, thirty or forty of the party were left to survive to the region of the Water Capital.

There corpses were everywhere, pecked at by flaming crows, and the stench filled the city.

The contingent swam fearfully in the vicious water where the bodies were tumbling over, slowly approaching the interior of the Water Capital. Corpses, still corpses, many corpses some of them seemingly fresh, what had happened here.

Flames, and flames, close to the inner perimeter of the Water Capital, flames were actually burning on the surface of the water, stretching for thousands of meters. This group of people made the skin bags that stored air, held their breath and submerged under the water, swimming through the area blocked by the flames.

The center of the water capital, the former papal palace.

It should have been a gold-red-white sacred palace assassins are covered by black-red lava, and flames are constantly coming out, while the "people" coming and going in the square, is that still human? A humanoid creature was wrapped in flames, and even its face was blurred.

What was happening here? What about Emperor Andre of Kelmania and Duke Nerantes?

Fear, sense of mission were in conflict with each other, and finally the contingent sent five people including the main and lieutenant captain to infiltrate the Pope's Palace.

Hidden under the shadows of the building, the group of five carefully avoided the sight of those flamers and slipped into the Pope's Palace.

On the first floor hall, the flamers coming and going were more advanced, wearing armor that hadn't been incinerated and could still be distinguished as red. It was the usual color used by the main Kelmanian army.

Could it be that these creatures were Kelmania's soldiers?

The captain and others felt genuinely frightened.

From the first floor up, they would have been about to walk up to the second floor.

But a flaming humanoid with red armor was coming down from the stairs and spotted the contingent members who were about to go upstairs.

In the moment of crisis, the contingents swarmed over the flaming creature with their long knives and daggers drawn.

The flaming humanoid opened its arms, dazzling with flame, and swung and slapped at the contingent members with a dull roar.

The sword cut on the arms of the flame humanoid, actually produced a similar cut in the human touch, within the flame, faintly visible white flesh and blood and red blood.

The flame humanoid power is extremely large, shot at the team members body will one by one hit the four or five meters out of the distance, the flame from the contact point heating, just a moment the blade is somewhat hot.

"Emo-volt-haye." [Water Bomb]

The captain used water magic, and a ball of water the size of a man's head hit the flaming mannequin.

The water and fire met with a sizzling sound of water vapor, and then the flame that had been struck in the head died out, revealing a black and red blurred face underneath.

A face so distorted it couldn't see its original form, barely making a human voice.

"Kill, kill me. Kill me."

The flaming humanoid stopped moving, crouching and shrieking in pain.

The contingent members looked at each other.

"Human?"

"Kill me, kill me. Please, please, kill me now."

The captain was silent, raising his long knife.

"You were originally soldiers of Kelmania?"

"Yes. Kill me quickly, it hurts."

The flames in the head of the flaming humanoid rekindled, saying no more human words, and shrieked to stand up.

"Swoosh" hand up and down, the captain cut off the head of the flaming humanoid.

After the body separated, the head rolled over a few times on the ground, and the flame faded, leaving the charred head.

The flame figure that had lost its head fell to its knees in vain, and the flames around its body were extinguished.

With some pity in their hearts, the people cleaned up the traces, the corpse dragged behind a pillar to hide, and the group continued to explore.

The flaming figures coming and going on the 2nd floor were wearing armor, similar to the ones they had killed before, and they were wandering around aimlessly, constantly shrieking in pain.

There were more than a dozen flame figures wandering around the stairs from the 2nd to the 3rd floor. 5 people were silent for a while, and the 2 weakest said that they would distract the flame figures and let the others continue.

The captain silently agreed. "Your family Kingdom will take care of you."

The 2 who acted as bait laughed miserably and left from their hiding place, then attacked the flame figures across the stairs, causing a commotion that drew the flame figures around the stairs.

The captain and vice captain 3 quickly went up the stairs.

The 3rd floor space is much narrower, and there are no flame figures wandering outside, and a room actually has the names of people burned out with flames on it. The 3 people looked over one by one, but it was actually the names of those corps leaders of the Kelmanian Fire Elf Legion, and the 3 people searched the 3rd floor and found the name of Duke Nirent in the room closest to the stairs on the 4th floor.

The 3 men voted in silence, 3-0, to explore.

The captain knocked softly on the door.

A dull male voice came from inside.

"Who is it?"

The captain's three were silent.

"The door is open, come in."

The captain gently pushed the door open and saw Duke Nirent, who was dressed in flames, his armor intact, and could still make out his facial features.

"A living man? Who are you guys?" Duke Nirent stared at the 3 men.

A wave of heat came, and the 3 men felt so oppressed that they fell backwards onto the ground.

The captain barely managed to speak, "We are soldiers of Torristine, ordered by the Secretary of State to explore the Romanian region, especially with news of you, Duke Nirent, and Emperor Andrei."

"Torristine? How's that Griffin Team Captain Hao Tian doing now?"

"Lord Horton is now the Secretary of State."

"Is that so."

Nirent was silent, he didn't open his mouth, and the contingent 3 were even more afraid to open their mouths.

"Hey." Nirent suddenly grinned. He was now a man or a ghost, and so was Emperor Andre, Kelmania could only be left to Princess Iris. As for the Zelupst family, they would have to rely on Churuk and the help of this cheap son-in-law.

"You should have seen it all the way over here."

"Yes, my lord. Demonic beasts that can use flames, and humanoid forms of flames."

"Beasts of flame? Really? Is the outside of Sui no Kuni being affected as well? You must take what I am about to say back with you. When Emperor Andrei conquered Romania, his temperament changed drastically due to the influence of that being, and he was unstable. After that, he slaughtered civilians and soldiers, and watered the bottom of the Water City with his blood. Half a year ago, 30,000 people died and the Water Capital exploded, and that being appeared and set the entire Water Capital on fire. That being used his power to build a molten pool, and threw the surviving soldiers into the pool, and they were transformed into human forms of that flame. Most of the soldiers lost their self-awareness, a few were able to retain some, and thirteen, including myself and Emperor Andrei, retained consciousness. We flaming humanoids could not disobey that being's direct orders, could not move away from that being, and could not even call that being by his name. I don't know what that Being is going to do, but Emperor Andre and I can't go back. Kelmania can only be entrusted to Princess Iris."

The 3 listened in silence.
