Zero no ambassador: my harem

Zero Demon Envoy's My Harem Chapter 166

The receptionist trotted down and met Tabatha, saying that King Goliath wanted to see her.

Tabatha was outside the room where Hao was being treated and was hesitant at the news.

Churuk was also aware of Tabatha's connection to Goliath, and saw that "Just go over there, I'll let you know as soon as Hao Tian wakes up."

Tabatha nodded and followed the receptionist to meet Joseph.

In the western city where Goliath was stationed, Joseph met Tabatha in the lobby of the room he was temporarily living in.

It was only then that the receptionist noticed that Tabatha's hair color was the same rare aqua as Joseph's. He had the excitement and concern of discovering a secret.

But Joseph did not want to keep the secret and casually asked him to retire.

The uncle and niece were left alone in the hall.

Silence reigned, neither of them speaking a word. Tabatha's eyes fell vacantly on Joseph, all the hatred and fear that had once existed had dissipated with time, the closeness of any blood connection that might have existed was gone, and the only thing that Tabatha could not part with Goliath was the mother who had become insane after drinking poisoned wine to protect her.

Joseph scrutinized his own niece, thin, petite, silent and expressionless, was it I who hated the man who killed her father and poisoned her mother? But it didn't matter all that much, as long as she could be used. That crazy sister-in-law was exactly her weak point.

"Charlotte, show me what you are today. No resistance allowed."

Tabatha gripped her wand and resisted somewhat.

"Think of your mother, Charlotte."

Tabatha's expression darkened, relaxing her body to give up resisting.

"Alec Cecil Albu." [Magic Detection]

A layer of cloudy white light emitted from Joseph's hand over Tabatha's body.

Green and blue light rose out of Tabatha's body, and upon contact with the white light it merged together in the air to form a finger-sized green and blue bead, one after the other.

Tabatha looked up at the orb above her head and her eyes changed slightly.

Joseph's expression changed after the dome appeared to the 8th one, and the change stopped after the formation of the 10th one which was only an extremely small finger size dome.

Tabatha's face changed slightly, and she also knew what Joseph was doing by correlating the number of beads. [Magic Detection], in general magic has [Qualification Detection] which can detect one's phase qualification for the four elements, as well as [Make Magic Contract] [Alchemy] and so on, but there is no [Magic Detection]. Uncle how did he do that?

Joseph revealed a smile, completely looking like he had found a treasure.

"Worthy of being a member of our Goliath family, it looks like you've been in the [Quadrilateral] for even longer than that Asya and Hao Tian, right? [Silent Hair] You must have mastered it. Where's the Fourth Level Magic? Does it work? I remember you're a Feng Shui dual system, can you use both [Tornado] and [Great Flood]?"

Tabatha was silent.

Joseph about sensed the niece's resistance to him, but he didn't care.

"You will serve as my escort for this meeting. Return with me to Goliath after this meeting."

Tabatha shook her head, "No."

Joseph looked cold, "What did you say?"

"Me, I'm going to stay with Hoshi."

"That Secretary of State of Torristine? I've heard he's a flirt, and you're only one of his dozen women. Besides, your mother is still in the Goliath capital. Don't you want to see her? You haven't seen her in over a year, since the last war. She's always thought of you as a doll. Don't you want to heal her? As long as you use the power of the [Quadrilateral] for Goliath, I will also focus Goliath's resources to save her."

Tabatha trembled lightly, her mother and Hao Tian were both extremely important people to her. This choice was causing her pain.

Joseph coldly added the final blow, "If you don't go back, it's possible for the woman to miss you excessively, isn't it."

Tabatha stared angrily up at Joseph.

Joseph's expression was cold and strong.

Tabatha's shoulders pulled down in a slow shrug, as if she had lost all her strength.

"I... I'll be back."

Joseph smiled smugly.

"Sheffield, pack a room upstairs, my niece is home."

"Yes, Your Majesty." The dark-haired woman on the second floor bowed.

The Tabatha dolls generally allowed Sheffield to lead them into a room on the second floor of Joseph's temporary house.

Chapter 65 - The Four Nations Talks 1 Dispute

On the second day of the Goliath delegation's arrival, the four participating countries gathered in the open space in the centre of town. In the center of the clearing was a circular table where the leaders and negotiators of the four nations sat around a round table. Four directions beyond the clearing were guarded by elite soldiers brought by each country, as well as wizards scouting from high up in nearby buildings using the eyes of flying enchanters.

Torristine, as the initiator and host country of the talks, Anrietta spoke at the beginning of the talks, saying a lot of nonsense such as the four countries have a long history of friendship and seeking common ground through the talks. Then it was time to get down to business. The first one was naturally the threat of the fire elves that triggered the talks.

"The Fire Elf's threat is not limited to a single country, but is a problem for the entire continent. I hope that we can join forces to complement each other's efforts to resist the fire elves and keep them in the Romanian region without threatening the human world today." Anrietta Way.

If there were people in Romania, they would be outraged. But a country that had already perished, and even that area had been turned into a land of fire, was no longer in a position to offer an opinion here.

Asya looked to Anrietta and stood up to speak.

"There is something wrong with Queen Anrietta's statement. The Fire Elves are on the continent, and I don't think we Albion are threatened by the fact that we are located on high ground. It is impossible to expect us to contribute to that."

"Asya Grunt, if the continent were to be overturned by the Fire Elves, would Albion's floating island be capable of being self-sufficient? Your food and lumber need to be traded with the mainland to meet the needs of the population, right?" Anrietta seemed to have put in some effort.

Asya sneered, "800,000 people might not be enough to sustain it if it was pre-war, but Albion only has 400,000 people today. It can still be self-sufficient as long as more land is opened up."

Anrietta's heart went slightly cold, wasn't this what Hao Tian had in mind? Thinking only of himself and not of others.

Joseph suddenly spoke up, "Albion only has half the land left now, doesn't it? There's no way it can be maintained if the population is also half, right?"

Asya looked to the king of the most powerful country on the continent, the driving force behind the last war, and was not afraid.

"Are you trying to remind me to get rid of those invaders, King Joseph?"

Joseph sneered, "I still have 200,000 troops on the continent, and I can easily commit 50,000 to 100,000 troops to Albion if I rush some floating ships. When the time comes, hmmm, do you remember what happened to Romania?"

Asya's eyes turned cold, "If King Joseph is desperate. Can you really commit that many troops to Albion now that Goliath's territory is almost twice as large?"

Joseph fell silent, suddenly snickering and no longer speaking.

Anrietta stepped in to intercede, "Now that the threat is the fire elves, the humans themselves should stop hurting each other."

Asya don't start, no longer talking to Joseph.

"Queen Anrietta, you know that the closest thing to the Romanian region is Goliath. Now King Joseph must be very anxious, right?" Asya addressed Anrietta.

Joseph narrowed his eyes. Indeed, if the fire elves were to attack the human world, Goliath would bear the brunt of it. Although the population of Goria had been moved north because of the threat of the [Earth Elf] awakening, three million people couldn't be moved overnight, and only one million people had been moved today, 200,000 to the south of Torristine, 100,000 to the north of Albion, and 700,000 to the south of Kelmania.

"If you want Albion to contribute to the resistance against the fire elves, ask Goliath to return the territory of Albion that was illegally occupied by Goliath. We in Albion will be happy to help Goliath then."
