What did it mean to have an organization? Well, the general meaning meant a group of people working together for a common goal. But did Ren have an established goal?

Was it to create something that could rival kingdoms? No, he was not interested in that. He did not want to rule a nation in the sense of a kingdom, but rather he wanted to build an institution where a few things are prioritized.

His first goal was simple, making the kind of place that ensured everyone under him was safe and protected. Number two, grow it into the most lethal organization ever heard of. He wanted to turn Primordial Crimson into a nightmare-inducing name.

The kind of organization where, if their name was heard, fear gripped the hearts of all who heard it. He had pondered about it for so long that the thought had fully settled in his mind. He was not sure how long this dream of his would last, but he would drive it as far as he could.

[....]

"Primordial Crimson?" Remu muttered the name as they all sat inside the largest building for a meeting.

"Is this some sort of kingdom?" Ezra asked.

"No, I want to create an efficient machine where everyone brings input and everyone is rewarded for what they do," Ren replied while sitting down with his back against the wall, one knee propped up and a large piece of meat in his hands. Luna, as usual, sat by his side.

He knew what a kingdom was, to be honest, and it did not really fit his vision. Instead, what his mind went to were the sects in Eastern webtoons. Those sects were exactly what he pictured when he thought about the organization.

"I don’t want to make a kingdom for people to come and feel safe by using my own subordinates as guards and whatnot.

I also don’t believe that accepting people randomly is a good thing, especially humans," he stated and glanced at Luna. She didn’t care, though. She was simply ogling the meat in his hands. He let out a sigh and handed it to her. Her face lit up in an instant as she took it from him.

"What I want to establish in this organization is simple, a sect or, if you want, a guild. And our three main goals are..." He raised three fingers.

"Grow stronger. The world does not favour the weak, and as much as I and all of you here are capable of helping protect the rest, it does not mean we will allow it to stay that way.

Protect Primordial Crimson. I want to create a family for every one of my subordinates, and so everyone must be willing to defend their home, including me.

Lastly, we innovate further. Many people here will not wish to become fighters and learn weapons, but will instead choose to support the others. They will be put through the best training to ensure that they can become masters in their craft." He finished and lowered his hand.

"Does anyone have any further confusion?" he asked.

Remu stood to his feet. "Master Ren," he said, bowing his head. "If this is the case going forward, would it not be better to simply make it into its own nation or kingdom?"

Rem frowned slightly. "Remu, what was the goal of your swamp before me?"

Remu paused at the question. He thought about it for a few seconds and then came up blank.

"We had things we drove towards but never an actual laid-out goal."

"Exactly, a nation is a place for people to stay. We are not a place for people to stay, we are a place for monsters to get better and drive towards a common goal.

Also, I do not want to start creating a nation. There is no point or gain in that for me," Ren said.

Ezra raised her hand, and he signalled for her to ask with a nod of his head.

"Master, what about major crises outside our borders? Would we do anything, and would we listen to any power?"

Ren smiled when he heard that question. He got to his feet dramatically. "That’s it, the perfect question. The answer is simple, we do what we want. There are troubles lurking in this world that even the top powers do not know of, and they might bring about the destruction of the world as you know it."

’Yeah, like the spider, the Crimson Church, the ancients that I know nothing about yet. This is my new world, and as much as I would like to not touch the government and controls of this world, I still need to root out everything I deem an issue.’

"We will be that force that does what is needed to ensure we have a tomorrow. With issues like the Crimson Church that are experimenting with humans and monsters.

Such issues are what Primordial Crimson will target and take down. This is one of many examples.

We will side with whoever is working towards an end goal that benefits us. It’s that simple."

’It’s actually not that simple, and I know things will get stupidly complex as we go on. Every company is like that, they start with properly laid-out goals until they realize that it’s not all black and white.

But for now, we will run with this narrative and this idea, and when the changes start to happen, I’ll do my best to handle them and ensure they do not spiral.’

"Master, what about payment? We can’t just help people for nothing, right?" Riker asked.

"Where did you learn about money, Riker?" Ren asked. "Well, either way, the organization should benefit in some way, shape, or form. I cannot promise it will always be payment. We are not a mercenary group," Ren answered.

"Can we have a mercenary branch that takes on smaller tasks for money? It can also be a cover to gather information," Riker suggested.

"Riker, that’s a good idea, actually," Ren replied in shock.
