With the tools fully made now, work got even faster past noon. Trees fell, planks were made, and houses were getting erected at a stunning pace.

At that very moment, Ren was with Luna at the cave cliff.

"Luna, I need your help," he stated.

Her eyes lit up when he said that. She leaned in close.

"Luna is happy to help," she said while staring right at him.

’Cute, how can one person be this cute? I have the itch to grab her cheeks and pull on them. She wouldn’t mind, right?

Shit, I’m losing track of things again.’

"That’s great then. Before I explain what I need help with, can I have an idea of how your eyes work?

You used them to see me the first time that we met. You also used them to help Gerald. I can tell that your eyes are extremely special."

"Luna can tell you, but Luna wants you to do a favor for her too."

"A favor? What do you want?"

"Luna wants to go on a ride on you," she stated clearly.

"Oh? In my dragon form. Well, it has to be in my dragon form. It can’t be my human form.

Fine, I’ll give you a ride, and you’ll tell me, right?"

She nodded enthusiastically. "Luna agrees."

"Great." He got on his feet and then moved back from her to ensure she did not get hit when he transformed. His massive size filled the entire cliff in seconds.

Many of the orcs that were down below, as well as the other monsters, turned to look at Ren. They had not seen him in his full dragon form. Even Grent, who was working, felt the change in energy and rushed to the door.

He opened it and looked at the cliff. His eyes landed on Ren.

"Well I’ll be damned, the chap’s a fine dragon."

Ren looked at Luna, who was visibly excited. Her eyes were shining.

"I’ve never carried someone before, so I do not know how to go about this," he said and then looked at his own back.

"I think the safest place for Luna to sit would be the base of my neck. Are you ready?" he asked.

"Luna is ready," she replied.

He nodded and turned to the side, laying down one of his wings for her to climb on. She moved eagerly like a young girl that had just gotten a new dollhouse. She climbed on and sat at the base of his neck.

’I can’t even feel her weight, this should be easy.’ He spread his wings and, in one blast, shot into the air, but a few seconds into the flight, he nearly lost balance.

"Woaaaah."

He managed to control it and got stable.

He moved fast through the air but ensured that he kept the speed at something he was sure that she could take without getting hurt. Luna grabbed onto the spike on his back and laughed all the way in excitement.

Everyone below watched as the massive dragon tore through the air, a sight like this could cause widespread panic for many, and yet it was being used to give a girl a joyride.

"Hahahaha, Luna is having so much fun."

"Luna, why do you speak in the third person?" Ren asked as he soared through the sky.

"Hmm? Luna does not understand," she said while tilting her head.

"Haha, you are a bundle of joy," he replied and kept flying. They circled the settlement and went a bit far before finally returning. He transformed in the air and then caught her in his hands as he flew down.

"Luna had so much fun."

"I had fun too. I’ve never flown for fun. Either it’s to fight someone or go somewhere."

They both sat back down, and Luna began to explain. She pointed at her eyes.

"Luna’s eyes can see energy, all types of energy. That’s the easiest way Luna can explain it."

"Energy? So can you see the mana in me?" he asked.

She nodded her head. "Your mana is massive. Luna has never seen so much before. It feels endless," she said. "Luna spotted you because of how much mana you emit."

"Hmm, I guess this will work then. Luna, right now there might be an infiltration in our midst. Someone is not who they say they are amongst the ranks that are here.

I want to find this person before they manage to gather information that may be detrimental to us," he explained simply.

Luna looked at him and then at the settlement. While Ren was still explaining more, she was already searching for what she needed to find.

Her eyes glowed a soft red, and she started scanning monster after monster in rapid succession to find anyone that had something that was off.

"I don’t know how you’ll be able to do it though. Like, do we get everyone to come at you one by one and try to find who the monster is?

Honestly, that sounds like a massive amount of work, and if the monster discovers that we are onto them, they might run.

I’ve thought about it a lot for a while now, and I have not been able to come up with a means that would be good enough."

He leaned back onto both of his hands, which were pressed into the ground. He scanned the settlement below and then turned to keep talking to her.

"Luna has found it," she said suddenly.

"Wait, what?" he asked in a stunned voice.

"Luna has found the monster that you are looking for."

She pointed into the distance where a group of wolves were playing together.

Ren looked at them, his gaze landing on all of them, but one wolf seemed to sense the gaze on it. It turned and looked at Ren. When it realized that it was Ren, it looked away immediately and kept playing as if trying to act like it did not see him.

"Got you."
