48 Hours a Day

Chapter 246: You're Planning an Escape, Right?

The little priest adjusted his breath and walked into the lobby with a bread basket.

Butler Wallace told a black waitress next to him to pick it up, but then he listened to the little priest, “Is Daisy gone? ”

“What, Father? Can I help you?” Wallace raised his eyebrows and shocked his face.

“She asked me a question during the last sermon, and I didn't answer it, but I've been thinking about it for two days, and now I have the answer to tell her. ”

“You can tell me to pass it on to her.” The black maid smiled.

“I'm sorry, I'd rather tell her myself it's my job.” The little priest insisted.

The black maid looked back at the butler Wallace, who shrugged her shoulders, "It's hard for you to say no to a priest, call Daisy out.” And then he said to the little priest, “Father Tim, you seem hot, which is the second time I've seen you wipe your sweat in just five minutes. ”

“Yeah, the sun's a little poisonous today.” The little priest heard the heartbeat and his right hand subconsciously tried to wipe the sweat, but when it reached half way back, it shrunk.

Wallace's eyes glistened, and he wanted to say something else, but Daisy's footsteps had come through.

So the housekeeper kindly gave way, but didn't go far enough to make it clear what it meant to listen.

The little priest spent five minutes explaining the black prayer and the white prayer which would be heard by God first.

When he finished the last word, the housekeeper on the other side applauded, "Very impressive. Is there anything else Father Tim can do? ”

The latter shook his head and handed Daisy the bread basket in his hand, "Please help me distribute the bread to the other children. ”

“Then I'll send Father Tim away.” Wallace made a gesture, please.

As soon as the little priest's carriage left the gates of the estate, the butler turned back to the house and called for two supervisors, "Go and take Daisy to the cell and entertain her first, I'll be there in 10 minutes. ”

“What about Father Tim? ”

“Ignore the fact that there is absolutely no evidence to provoke those priests, or they will cause unnecessary trouble. ”

Two supervisors sniffed into Daisy's house, grabbed the latter's hair and dragged the screaming Daisy out of the room.

Wallace then walked into the room, and he walked to the four bread baskets and kicked them over, but there was nothing inside but bread, and the careful Wallace ran the bread away with his feet, and he found nothing.

So he turned Daisy's bed upside down, pulled the sheets apart, and each bed plate was removed, but nothing was gained.

Wallace frowned and searched the wardrobe again before walking out of the room, as a group of waitresses were hiding on the other side of the corridor looking at him in horror.

Wallace grabbed a man and asked, "Has Daisy ever left the room before? ”

The latter shook his head and Wallace's face sank.

“You know what happens when you lie. ”

The waitress heard the rumor and cried directly. Wallace pushed her away impatiently and looked at the others, “What about you? Did anybody see Daisy leave the room? ”

The maids shook their heads together, and so many people were unlikely to lie together.

Did you really look away this time? But Wallace recalled Father Tim's unusual behavior today, and he clearly looked like he had a ghost in his heart.

In an extraordinary time, Wallace is not going to let go of any possible risks, and since Daisy's place cannot be searched, she can only be questioned herself.

Wallace walked to the cell without further delay.

Leah's room was next door to Daisy's, and she heard Daisy scream and ran out the first time, and she saw a scene that scared her. Daisy was the new contact after Nadia's arrest, and she was arrested just as she was on the verge of escape.

Leah was really a little panicked this time, not because Daisy was likely to turn her in, but because Daisy was completely cut off from these people at the estate as soon as she was caught.

She did not know what information Laeri had received this time, nor what was to be done next. What worried her most was that Laeri thought that they had received the information and proceeded as planned, which would not save them, but would get him into it himself.

It was at this time that someone shot her on the shoulder, Leah turned around and saw Laura, who was not one of their tribes, and her relationship with her was usually not very good. She was jealous that she could get Malcolm's treatment and would often squeeze her out with other maids. Leah didn't want to be seen with the look of panic on her face at this deadly time.

And then the next thing Laura said, she stifled, “You're planning a getaway, aren't you? ”

“You... what are you talking about?” Leah heard her teeth tremble.

“Don't be afraid of kittens. Daisy sent me to find you.” Laura, “follow me, I have something to show you. ”

Laura walked up to the cabin not far from where she put mops and cloths and other cleaning products, and Leah hesitated for a moment to follow, not that she didn't think Laura was just cheating on her and selling her to Wallace.

After all, the relationship between the two men was not good, Laura was not one of their tribes, and it didn't make sense to reach out to her at this time, but at this time, Leah had lost her way, even at the expense of herself, and she was willing to gamble if she had a chance, so she followed Laura into the cabin.

The latter stood there waiting for her, and as soon as she came in, she shut the door, lit the fuel light, and then lifted a piece of canvas in the corner, two short guns below, and eight daggers.

“These are brought to you by your peers outside, in addition to this,” Laura said as she pulled another letter out of her arms.

Leah reached out and tried to catch it, but Laura shrunk her hand back again.

“You didn't think I'd give you that letter, did you?” Laura picked out her eyebrows, "I took a big risk hiding these weapons for you, and Daisy would have been stolen if I hadn't been there cleaning. ”

“What do you want?” Leah also gradually settled down at this time, asking back.

“I want what you want, I want to get out of this shithole, I want to breathe free air again.” Laura, “you either let me in, or you're not going anywhere. ”
