A Chronicle of Life in a Different World

Episode 421: Withdrawal and Consultation Part 3

Having heard Rebecca's story, Reurus frowned incredibly on the information given.

If Rebecca's story were true, Slaus would be her grandfather to Eliza. Eliza is as convincing as Slaus to be a bloodsucker, but the problem is Katrine's position.

(Eliza's grandmother is a Gregorian... and a priest? As far as Eliza is concerned, he seems to have been a magician with arms up... a priest.)

Even though it is not enough to defeat advanced monsters like bishops Rebecca, Canna, Chris, and Tina, it is a position that would be more than enough.

Some of the Gregorians Reurus had encountered so far, some of whom were in the ranks of priests, but many of whom were quite skilled and unable to be alert.

Eliza was convinced to say that she was a skilled wizard - but the “problem” would be more powerful than that.

(The Gregorians have set up a child with an advanced monster... what about that? You all right? You all right?

For Gregorians hunting strong monsters, Slaus, who would qualify as an advanced, should be the enemy to be defeated. There is no doubt that the bishop was a rather dangerous opponent when he was finished with only five bishops.

He appeared in the town of Lemona with the same name as “at the time” for some cause or effect, but the feeling of Reurus after the battle was convincing that all five bishops came to an end.

Reurus and Gilba refused, but stood up to be invited to become bishops. There are five of them, Reurus and Gilba, and Rebecca and Chris, Tina and the Bishop.

Given Eliza's support, there is no doubt that Slaus is a dangerous and powerful monster.

Of course, I don't think all advanced monsters should be dangerous and hostile to Reurus.

Vanille, the Fire Dragon, is suspicious, but there are also friendly beings like Axis, the unicorn.

(If it's Axis's grandfather, that slaw is a bloodsucking species....)

Regarding Axis, who was peeking at Eliza's baths when she first met him, Reurus would not have been surprised to hear that there were children between humans. You want me to tell you to think about the difference in age.

But not if Slaus is the opponent. Unlike Axis, even Reurus thinks it's an obviously dangerous monster.

It's hard to believe immediately that the child that was born between Slaus and man - and Catherine, who was in the priest's seat - was either Eliza's parents.

(But if Rebecca's story is true, will Eliza's grandfather become a bloodsucker? My parents were normal people, but this is also... uh, is it going to be hereditary?

When I first met Eliza, I heard that there was a blood species in my distant ancestors, and I wondered if Eliza was born as a blood species in the second generation by accident.

But if my grandfather was a bloodsucker, it would be close by blood, and Eliza would be a bloodsucker quota.

"That man is my grandmother's... wah, I... yeah, my... grandfather?

When she heard Rebecca's story, Eliza murmured as if she was stunned with unfocused eyes.

I was upset to hear that the opponent who had been engaged earlier - the slaw that had manipulated others and attacked him - hit my grandfather.

"... I'm talking about the Gregorians. Can I trust you honestly?"

Gilba looked at Rebecca with a sharp eye and said whether she thought of Eliza or thought she did so purely.

As for Reurus, if this is the story I heard during the battle, "So? I would have slashed it back. Sometimes the other party is Rebecca, and it must have been cut off because it is only a previous problem that I don't trust.

But there's no reason Rebecca should bother telling lies here. In response to Eliza's question, I don't see any reason to lie and scratch the scene.

"I answered you because you asked me... that's terrible, yeah, terrible. You can swear to“ Spirit Master ”according to your style.

…………

Rebecca begins to provoke Gilba, holding her hand against her eyes and imitating her crying. With that, Collard opened his mouth in a hurry as Zilba began to overflow with murder.

"Well, I don't know anything about Miss Eliza's personal circumstances, but I don't think I have any reason to lie here... so what do you think?

Though I pinched my mouth, Collard gradually lost momentum because I was afraid of Jilba. Reurus smiled bitterly at Collard's appearance and turned to Rebecca.

You're not lying, are you?

"Yes, of course. Spirits are jokes, but I swear to my prince if I have to swear."

"Oh, yeah, I'm gonna cut it off."

The sworn himself (Reurus) unexpectedly reached out to the pattern of the "Dragon Slasher", but he withheld himself. I can't afford to do that right now.

"Phew... that's... uh, Chris and Tina. Do you two know what Rebecca told you?

With a big breath of anger, Reurus turned to Chris and Tina. Then Chris and Tina nodded at the same time, even though they didn't fit together.

"I know. But I've only heard of a priest named Catherine because he's a different generation."

"I know. Rebecca is not lying. But the information is biased because I don't know him."

Apparently, Rebecca didn't lie, but neither Chris nor Tina knew more than Rebecca did.

(I heard from Mr. Collard about the bloodsucking species that went wild with the harist... this must be Slaus, but it seems to have been nearly thirty years ago. Rather, thank you for knowing that Rebecca and the others are somewhat different.)

It was before Rebecca and the others were born, even if they didn't succeed.

Given Gregorian behavior, it is not strange to share information about powerful monsters that once appeared. However, it would be quite difficult to remember the stories of not only the advanced monsters but also those involved.

If you believed all Rebecca's stories, you'd be famous for having a child with Slaus.

"I'll get back to you. All I know is that a priest named Catherine-Valjebe set up a child with Slaus... a daughter. Then I took the opportunity to withdraw from the front lines of my daughter's birth, and I wondered... where it was from the harist...?

"Harist Kermed"

"Oh, that's right. You stayed in a town called Kermed. Was it because you stood up your arms were treasured in town...?"

Reurus raised his eyebrows small against Rebecca, who was supplemented by Tina on the way.

(Harrist Kermed... was it the town where Eliza was born?

This is also the town where Eliza's family fled, known to be a bloodsucker. However, it is not that important to give credibility to Rebecca's story in this case.

(Eliza said that she was a known bloodsucker and that the Gregorians had run away from town because of the noise... that Eliza's grandmother was also a Gregorian...)

When I heard this story from Eliza, I knew little about Gregorianism. Because of this, I was thinking to what extent such a thing happened, but now I think about it and there are various strange points.

No matter how many Catherines were priests, they were able to get their families out of town safely. Eliza said that her father was strong, but he couldn't help but think of Reurus, who had fought the Gregorians many times.

If you believe Rebecca's story, Catherine, who had already left the front lines, and the Gregorians, who had heard that she was a bloodsucker. If the opponent is gathered to hear that he is a bloodsucker, it will be hands-on, not weak.

It's no wonder the bishops came out when they succeeded, but Elizabeth and the others escaped town safely.

Of course, we can find a reason why Catherine was strong when we left the line, or why the Gregorians were not so strong when we gathered.

But Eliza said she lived in the mountains with her family after she ran away from town. Apart from the story, if the mountain is home to a powerful monster like Mount Veos and the Gregorians don't come near it, otherwise it is hard to imagine that the Gregorians won't find it for years.

In addition, Eliza has heard from Villa, a Gregorian priest who once attacked in the abandoned city of Laval, about the "colors.” Growing Eliza, a bloodsucking species, was bad for the environment.

The reason why Gregorians who are obsessed with defeating powerful monsters “grow” Eliza, a bloodsucking species.

It's obvious that you don't have to think deeply.

"Nh......"

You think the same way as Reurus, but you're losing blood in Eliza's face.

Unbelievable - Eliza opens her eyes to the fact that she doesn't want to believe it.

"Hmm? Wow!? What about Eliza!? You look a little pale... hey!?

As Sarah shook her shoulders as she noticed Eliza's complexion, she almost collapsed like a broken thread doll. Even though Sarah was in a hurry to support her, Eliza's response was slow.

…………

Eliza stared at Rebecca with sympathetic eyes.
