The other two’s eyes widened as the 1st person’s head rolled across the ground. They immediately charged towards Leo.
"Stay... BACK!!!"
Leo was still pretending to be extremely dizzy with his disoriented movements, but he managed to bring his sword up once again and aimed for the Low 2-star Demon’s chest.
"Bastard! This is how you repay us?!"
The targeted man was still shouting when he found a blade pierced through his chest, right through the midsection, even boring through his backbone and spinal cord.
The demon’s eyes turned bloodshot as he stared in disbelief, wondering how someone under the effects of the drug could move so sharply.
"Fucker!!!"
The third man directly slammed into Leo, flinging him away and leaving the sword lodged in the second man’s chest.
Job done.
Leo internally mused as he crashed into Lily’s position and wrapped his arms around her.

Suddenly, the beast that had retreated earlier came rushing back to the scene and immediately panicked upon seeing the dead man.
The beasts were bleeding from their mouths, making it clear they had suffered some sort of backlash.
The wolf immediately went to the corpse, sniffed it, and locked onto Leo’s fallen frame. Its eyes bulged with red veins as it charged towards him.

But the last man, who had tackled Leo to the ground, blew a whistle that immediately stopped the beast.
"Velvet! Dire! It’s sad that your master died, but you cannot give that man an easy death!"
Both beasts snarled, but they obeyed the man because he was like a second master to them. If the man who died was their tamer, then the man who had just stopped them was their leader, and he had given them more orders than their tamer.
Leo was pretending to exert the last of his resistance against the dizziness, but he was actually adjusting his posture to shield Lily.
This way, even while getting carried away, they won’t be able to touch Lily.
He internally smirked.
Haha, it’s just as I read; these demons don’t care about their comrades at all.
Leo already knew there wouldn’t be any damage to his act if he killed a few of them while getting captured, and even crippled the second person so badly—evident by the fact that the demon with the sword through his chest had collapsed to the ground, desperately trying to move his legs while frantically pulling at the blade.
He had become paralysed below the waist the moment the sword severed his spinal cord.
And the third person wasn’t even helping him.
"Idiots! Is it even possible to take damage, let alone get killed, by a person on the verge of collapse?"
The third demon cursed as he walked up to Leo, who was by now unconscious, and kicked his body.
Thud!
"Tsk! Even near death, he holds his slave as if wanting to fuck her one last time."
Leo completely ignored the man’s words because he was actually holding Lily this way for the demon’s sake. If the demon had tried to touch her while attempting to carry her, Leo didn’t know whether she would remain in her role or kill him the very next instant.
"K-Kima! Help me!"
The crippled man pleaded. His eyes flashed with panic, as if sensing his death was near due to the blood loss. Not to mention, any sort of sensation or movement below the chest was impossible because of the injury.
He might even piss and shit himself within a few minutes because he could already feel himself losing control of his bowels and bladder.
"Fuck off and die. You people can’t even be careful after getting incarnated into the physical plane after such a long time. You deserve death; better empty the slots for other, more capable demons to come in."
Kima said this as he walked up to the crippled demon, gripped the sword, and ripped it out sideways through the heart, killing him instantly as the body slumped to the side with its eyes wide in anger. The dying demon didn’t even feel sad because he hadn’t died permanently and had merely returned to the Abyss, back into his spiritual body.
"Thank me for freeing you from your agony. Healing that crippled body was impossible, and the pain receptors in the physical plane would have killed you ten times over before you actually died."
Though the demon said that, his lips curled into a grin as he looked towards Leo and Lily.
"That woman surely has a good body now that I see her up close. I will enjoy my time with her before incarnating that bitch, and then have another round of enjoyment while watching that great knight demon fuck the incarnated bitch."
Kima walked closer, intending to reach her body and touch it, but Leo was slumped over Lily so awkwardly that it was impossible for him to touch her in any bad way.
He looked at the time.
"Fuck! The drug’s effect will wear off soon; I need to act quickly... I’ll get my time when she is strapped to the altar. Hehe, a little resistance won’t be bad."
Kima said with a cruel grin as he called the wolf.
"Carry these both—"
He stopped when he noticed that the wolf’s veins were still bulging.
"Damn it, there isn’t even another wolf beast around that it can play around with."
After looking around for a while but found nothing—
"Tsk, I guess there is no other option..."
He said as he placed his hand over the beast. Pink wisps began revolving around the wolf’s body before being absorbed into the man.
"If only I had incarnated into a body with beast taming talent."
He glanced at the beheaded corpse.
"Fucking waste!"
Suddenly, the bulging veins on the beast subsided, as if it had regained some reason.

After that, he tried to lift Leo.
But to his dismay, Leo’s grip was so strong that Lily was lifted along with him.
"Arrrgggh, Fuck!!"
Even for a Mid 2-star being, lifting two people at once in that awkward posture was difficult.
But somehow, he managed to throw Leo—along with Lily—onto the wolf’s back.
After that, the demon stroked the wolf’s face.
"Don’t worry, I’ll soon arrange a few top-quality female wolves for you." He said, because what he had done just now was to decrease the corruption in the wolf’s body so it could gain clarity in its mind.
When a corrupted being’s corruption is decreased slightly, it gains a small window of clear mind. But since the corruption wasn’t completely removed, the beast wants to fill that corruption back up to the previous level, and for that, it might take extreme measures.
With that, he bolted towards the Realm Gate alongside the wolf and boar, leaving the other two corpses behind.
