"After witnessing the Lord’s overwhelming wrath, the Immortal Tree of Cradle immediately backed down. It surrendered and finally decided to side with one of them, but it laid down several conditions..."

The Falcon King furrowed his brows and gritted his teeth.

"After learning that the Lord and the World Spirit had decided to move their game to a place beyond this continent, and that they would only bring a small number of people to other continents, the Tree of Cradle chose to go with them. However, it could not abandon the Elves. It loved them dearly, and it knew that once it left, the other races would unite and wipe them out.

So, it requested that the Lord and the World Spirit protect the Elves. In return, it would choose one of their sides, and from then on, the Elves would no longer interfere in the affairs of anyone else on this continent.

The Lord and the World Spirit accepted this request. The Lord sealed the Elven bloodline in exchange for allowing them to live peacefully within the Forest of Light.

After that, the Tree of Cradle and the other progenitors, along with some of their followers, were taken to places unknown to us.

From that day onward, this continent was placed under complete isolation. The Dragon Wall was erected, and no one was allowed to break through to the fourth level on this continent, or they would face both the Lord’s wrath and the World Spirit’s wrath."

The Falcon King’s anger intensified with every word until his killing intent became impossible to conceal.

"This information was left behind by our ancestors before they departed for other lands and abandoned this continent. They also left us our race’s supreme weapon... the Falcon Wings they had received from the Lord.

Perhaps these records are true. Perhaps some parts are wrong. Or perhaps history has altered portions of them.

But one thing is certain. The agreement forged by the Immortal Tree of Cradle truly existed.

The four ancient races honored that agreement and never violated it, and we never attacked the Elves directly, just as our ancestors instructed.

But now..."

The King’s killing intent continued to rise until it engulfed the entire hall, and everyone present could feel the fury and hatred radiating from him.

"But now, the Elves of the Forest of Light have broken the ancient covenant. They destroyed the Lord’s seal placed upon them, and it seems they no longer wish to live in peace.

With the numbers they are gathering and the bloodlines they are awakening, this continent will inevitably descend into another great war like the one that took place a hundred thousand years ago.

If we don’t stop them before they grow any stronger, every kingdom on this continent will surely regret it."

The King slammed the armrest of his throne as the scenes he had read and witnessed in the ancestral records resurfaced in his mind. An involuntary chill ran down his spine.

Worst of all, the Kingdom of Storm was the closest kingdom to the City of Light.

"My Lord, you’ve received a communication from the Dragon King!" While the King was still contemplating the consequences of everything Rios had unknowingly set in motion across the continent, one of his attendants spoke.

Upon hearing this, the Falcon King frowned and looked toward the attendant...

After a brief moment of thought, he gestured with his hand.

"Bring it to me."

"As you command, My Lord." The attendant stepped forward and handed the King a small mirror.

The mirror floated before the Falcon King. He frowned at it and said, "What do you want?"

A man who appeared to be in his thirties, just like the Falcon King, appeared within the mirror. However, he was noticeably more handsome, with antler-like horns, reptilian eyes, and dark blue hair.

His expression was just as grim.

"Have you heard the news?"

The Dragon King spoke in a deep voice.

"Yes," the Falcon King replied.

"The agreement was that they would remain sealed and never interfere in the continent’s affairs, but it seems they’ve grown tired of living in peace," the Dragon King said in an angry tone, killing intent flashing through his eyes.

"The Lord contacted me. He has given us the green light to attack!"

The moment he heard those words, the Falcon King leaped to his feet. His eyes widened to the extreme as he stared at the Dragon King, his voice trembling.

"Are you serious?!"

"Yes. The Lord ordered me to gather as many troops as possible and attack the City of Light two weeks from now. Are you coming?" the Dragon King asked, narrowing his eyes at the Falcon King, already knowing the answer.

"Of course I’m coming. My entire army will be ready within two days," the Falcon King said with a grin that exposed his fangs, as though he had just heard that his greatest enemies were about to be erased.

"Good. Contact your lackeys from the Centaur race and tell them to prepare as well."

The moment he finished speaking, the Dragon King’s image disappeared from the mirror, leaving the hall in silence.

---

In another place, a vast land of endless grasslands stretched as far as the eye could see. A massive city stood there, its enormous palaces scattered across the plains, while towering humanoids nearly three meters tall walked through its streets.

Inside the royal palace, a gigantic, muscular man with thick golden hair lounged lazily upon an enormous cushion, surrounded by dozens of stunning women from various races.

"My old rival, how have you been?"

Another man held up a large mirror before the golden king, not daring to move an inch.

"What made you contact me, you overgrown lizard?" The golden king scratched his ear with his finger and spoke lazily.

The Dragon King’s forehead bulged with veins, but he forced himself to smile in the end.

"You’ve already heard the news, haven’t you?"

After hearing the question, the golden king remained seated and replied lazily, "And what does that have to do with me?"

"They’ve broken the ancient covenant, and you’re asking what that has to do with you?" More veins bulged across the Dragon King’s forehead as he shouted angrily.

"I know they’ve broken the ancient covenant, but what does that have to do with me? The covenant involved the Lord, the World Spirit, and the secret held by the Immortal Tree of Cradle. Our ancestors were nothing more than bystanders in that matter. If the covenant has been broken, then let those who made it deal with it. What does it have to do with me?" the golden king replied lazily. Then he pulled his finger out of his ear and casually flicked whatever was stuck to it straight at the Dragon King’s face through the mirror.

The Dragon King narrowed his eyes, burning with rage toward the golden king. However, he eventually let out a sigh and looked back at him.

"What if I told you... that we’ll be allowed to reach the fourth level without having to undergo the Tribulation?"

The instant those words were spoken, the golden king sprang to his feet, sat cross-legged, looked at the Dragon King with a smile, and laughed.

"Now that’s how a conversation should begin, my old rival."
