Chapter 127: Derivation
Two days had passed since Rios began training in the Soul Path, and he would not have been able to progress this much without the Abyss Tomb technique.
It was true that he did not know its true usefulness yet, but he would certainly learn in the future.

Rios was shocked by this realization and quickly looked toward the Status Panel, specifically the Law of Derivation section.

Rios’s thoughts spun at an insane speed, and he quickly analyzed the matter.
Just like the Tree of Life, whose techniques were applications of the grades of the Cosmic Law of Life.
The techniques of the Tree of Abyss were also applications of the Cosmic Law of Derivation.
His Armament technique revolved around deriving matter from the composition of the Tree of Abyss’s body and the surrounding environment, ultimately creating an extremely hard crystalline layer around Rios’s body.
The Flexibility technique derived the concept of growth and movement to help him make his body extremely flexible and agile.
Techniques like these were not simple applications of the Law of Derivation, but applications at the most profound level. These techniques were ultimately passed down through the bloodline, and originally traced back to the ancestors of the Tree of Abyss.
Beings who stood at the peak of the Immortal Realm!
"So that’s why the Law of Derivation is considered one of the strongest Cosmic Laws. The more you comprehend the other Laws, the stronger the Cosmic Law of Derivation becomes along with them!" When Rios realized this, his happiness increased several times, and he set a new goal before him.
"This time, the results of seclusion far exceeded my expectations several times over!" Rios leaned against the wall while activating the Law of Life on his body to soothe his headache, and smiled while looking at the ceiling.
During this seclusion, not only had Rios’s comprehension of the Laws advanced greatly, but he had also obtained applications of the Laws that he had never imagined before!
And the most important of all was the extent of his progress in the Soul Path.
Thanks to the Immortal-grade Abyss Tomb technique created by the Abyss, Rios had progressed from nothing in the Soul Path to opening the Second Soul Gate, and he was now halfway toward opening the Third Soul Gate.
In only two days, he had gained strength equal to someone at Level Five of the Energy Path!
"At this rate, I will begin breaking through to Wis (4) immediately after returning from reclaiming the Forest of Light." Rios smiled while clenching his fist and thinking about his future, then stood up and headed toward the door confidently.
"Why don’t we test the strength we gained during this seclusion, then?"

In the Royal Garden.
Rios stood enjoying the gentle breeze amid the green grass, his crimson-red hair fluttering with the wind, and closed his eyes while enjoying this moment of tranquility.
But this beautiful tranquility did not last long...
"Did you summon me?" From behind Rios, Elena hurried over and quickly asked him.
"Yes, I wanted to test how much your strength has progressed." Rios turned toward Elena and smiled at her.
When Rios wanted to test the extent of his strength, the first person who came to his mind was Elena.
She was the strongest person he knew in the City of Light besides himself.
"Test how much my strength has progressed?!" Elena tilted her head to the side in confusion, then smiled confidently. "Why not? How are we going to do that?"
"It isn’t complicated. Just attack me with everything you have." Rios pointed at her with his finger and said confidently.
"Is it really that simple?" Elena was slightly surprised and smiled again before disappearing from in front of Rios and suddenly appearing behind him in a flash of golden sparks. "You have to be careful!"
Elena smiled as her leg ignited with golden Starfire, and she delivered a decisive kick toward Rios’s head!
"Fast!" Rios was slightly surprised by Elena’s incredible speed and quickly used the Law of Derivation!
Break the Path!
Acceleration!
Elena’s foot was only a few centimeters away from Rios’s face, but suddenly, she found that her foot was heading upward, and Rios had disappeared from in front of her!
"What?!" Elena quickly regained her balance, canceled her attack, and stood there stunned while looking toward Rios!
"How did you do that!"
"It is one of the properties of the Cosmic Law of Derivation, the Derivation of Concepts!" Rios raised his finger slightly upward and said in a voice filled with amusement, then extended both hands forward!
"Now, why don’t you try another one of the properties of the Law of Derivation, the Derivation of Matter!"
Immediately after saying this, a strange metallic material began gathering around his hands, transforming them into two lethal and extremely hard metal claws!
This application was similar in execution to the Armament technique of the Tree of Abyss bloodline, but in a weaker form.
Acceleration!
Rios shot toward Elena, attacking her, and used both properties of the Law of Derivation together.
