Chapter 105: Someone Wants Her to Become a Deadly Sin

Lucy, with a worried and pleading face, looks toward Luke. Who was now looking at Katarina but what he was thinking. She didn’t know.
Luke felt Lucy’s pleading gaze and turned toward her. But before he reassure her, a soft sensation suddenly comes from the side.

He got baffled by the sudden soft feeling and shifted his attention toward the right side.
There was Katarina now standing close with the same smile, clinging to his shoulder, and her breasts were tightly pressed against it.
’This is bad.’ Instantly a few sweats formed on his forehead, and he looked around warily.
After searching for a few moments. "Huff!" He took a deep breath after finding Aurielle was not here.

Silent...Katarina got completely silent, while her smile cracked after hearing Luke reply. Because she have met many young man and many of them are even nobles. But never once she have faced rejection by the opposite sex. However now she did.

So she gave a displeased glare toward Lucy, who was now smiling with relief. And said something, which completely removed the smile from Lucy’s face that had just come, and the surrounding classmates also got stunned.
"Sir! Think again. She is cursed!" Katarina’s voice came a little loud this time, but she didn’t care.
Though the same was not for everyone.
"Is she going to say those words?"

’Hah?’ Luke heard Katarina, vioce and become even more baffled. ’why would I die just after taking her help?’ though he didn’t have to wait much, as Katarina next word soon followed.
"Sir, she got engaged to three people, and all of them died after that. And even that was not enough. Her family nearly got bankrupt after that." Katarina kept talking and didn’t even notice the tear in Lucy’s eyes. which was threatens to come out.
The surrounding people also got surprised and looked toward Lucy with different eyes. But her classmates just shook their heads.
As she was very talented in the whole class, but after that incident, her life became worse day by day. And now she coudn’t even able to afford her tuition fees.
But some looked at her with "serves right" expression. Because Katarina, one friend, was the sister of an earlier dead engaged man.
In the class, he has fallen for Lucy and proposed to her. But Lucy rejects him, so he brings his family to her house and there, She was engaged to him.
But just after a few weeks, he died with black spots on his body.
Lucy, with shaky eyes, looked toward everyone and felt the same gaze. which she got from everyone, when those rumors spread. ’Please, don’t look at me like that; I am not cursed.’
She closed her eyes, while her body kept trembling, and she pleaded this in her mind. So at least one person can hear her. "Why?? In her mind??" Because she did say to everyone that she is not cursed and it was not her fault. But none of them believed her.
Luke’s face also changed after seeing all these. And he felt disgusted toward the person who spread this rumor.
There he observed Lucy, who was trembling with closed eyes. And he can feel what she is going through.
’She looks like 18 and already suffering from bullying and pear pressure.’ He shook his head with pity.
"hmm..." But then he heard the same voice, which startled him in the morning.
’What?’ he said in his mind toward Nyx, who had just come out and was now looking at Lucy. That she has something hidden in her.
Nyx even after focusing at her, didn’t find the thing he want, so he shook his head and said. "She is cursed...by someone."
’What!’ Luke got shocked after finding that she was really cursed. ’Ofcourse, someone did this to her.’
’why?’ He asked Nyx, who gave him a speechless look. "earlier, I tried this, but coudn’t able to find it." Nyx said this to Luke and also added. That his power is too weak now, so he can’t find the hidden things inside her.
"But, you know. who can find that." Nyx settle down on Luke shoulder while saying.

Yeah, that emoji. "System, can you tell?" Luke looked toward Emoji with an annoyed expression and said in his mind.
The system glitched for a moment, like deciding to tell him or not. So Luke waited for a few seconds while Lucy’s tears started dropping on the ground and more crowd also gathered around them.
’Do they not have any work to do?’ Luke thought while waiting for the system answer.
