Chapter 104: Lucy’s Desperate Smile, Please Don’t Take My Customer

And finally, after half an hour of walking... "why walking??" Because he wants to enjoy the morning breeze, he reached the market district.

"Damn!" Luke felt jealous of this scene, and this amazing view. "My territory will also have structure better than this in the future." While saying that he moved toward the spacious granite plaza.
The whole pathway was surrounded on both sides by magic lanterns, and even though it was day, he could still see their glow.

When he took steps toward the gates, along with other people. The runes on the gate light up for a moment, and the gate automatically opens.
"Automatic doors??" he became surprised by the development of magic in this world.
Then he looked inside and again got amazed by the scene. The first-floor ceiling is as high as 30 meters, while hundreds of magic crystals hang there. Which illuminates the whole public hall.
Yeah, public hall. Because he could see long reception counters stretched across one side of the hall, where elegantly dressed female mages with smiles assisted visitors.
Also the whole ground is covered with white marble, which reflects magic crystal light and Following that, he turned his gaze to the other side, and there various crystal display cases showcased various magical artifacts, enchanted staffs, spell scrolls, and mana crystals.
And behind them stood towering bookshelves, with thousands of books and tomes.

After hearing Luke answer, a bright smile appeared on Lucy’s face. "Please, here sir."
With that, she brings Luke toward one sofa, and with the same smile, offers him the seat first.
"Thanks," Luke said while sitting, and she asked him what he would like to purchase.
Luke nodded to this and presented the list he had prepared beforehand to her.
’What!!!’ Lucy Dawnvale became completely shocked after seeing the content.
Because if the gentlemen really bought all of this, which is roughly 8,000 - 9,000 gold, then her commission would also be huge.

Lucy, who was smiling happily while bringing Luke toward the counter, froze in her place, and the smile from her face disappeared.
’Why is she coming toward me now? Don’t tell me!!!’ Lucy’s face becomes ugly after seeing the appearance of Katarina; whose, cleavage is half exposed, while her blue robe is tightly fitted to her body. which clearly showcases her curved figure. and her long red hair flowed freely.
But why did her face become ugly? Because during her previous jobs, Katarina often snatched her clients with her looks and attractiveness. Which brings huge loss to her many times.
