They’d just eaten the food he made, and with "a short mouth after eating," the bodyguards all greeted him first when they saw him, not paying any attention to the fact that he was walking together with Luo Xiaoqian.
The two of them walked to the seaside, went a bit farther down the shore, and Leng Zimo lowered his voice.

She didn’t believe him, assuming he was just deliberately teasing her.
Leng Zimo didn’t laugh. He only looked at her with gentle eyes. "I’m serious."
Luo Xiaoqian raised her brows, unable to figure out how there could be a video of something like that. He didn’t look like the kind of man with that sort of twisted hobby either!
"You’re the one who recorded it." Leng Zimo laughed.
"Me?!" Luo Xiaoqian lifted a hand and pointed at her own nose, even less convinced.
Seeing her stare wide-eyed at him in that adorable way, Leng Zimo just burst out laughing. "Because back then, you were the one who took the initiative to seduce me."
"Nonsense." She shot him a look, even more certain he was joking.
"Once you see the video, you’ll know I’m not joking."
Luo Xiaoqian turned her face toward him, looking into his eyes. He was smiling, but there wasn’t any teasing in his gaze.
He didn’t look like he was joking.
"I really... took the initiative to seduce you?!"
"Don’t overthink it. It’s not what you’re imagining." Leng Zimo glanced sideways around them, angled the umbrella to shield their bodies, then lifted his other hand to pinch her chin. "That was the most surprising day of my life. From that day on... I fell in love with a woman. Xiao Qian, you’re a great gift heaven gave me. I’ve thought of that night countless times, and every single time I feel lucky that the person in that room... was me."
Luo Xiaoqian couldn’t remember what had happened back then. She only looked into Leng Zimo’s eyes.
