Age of Adepts

Chapter 0891 - Smooth Return

Molten Fire City, within the secret stone chamber.

After sending off Grim and Unid, Kerak turned around and returned to the secret room.

In the meantime, that Alfred Wizard was gazing at something with a tight brow.

"My lord, I was mistaken in this matter, and I beg you to chastise me!" Kerak looked chagrined and admitted his mistake.

Alfred Sorcerer waved his hand and interrupted impatiently, "Of course this matter is your fault. It's just an elemental beast, although it's a bit cunning, can't we do anything about it with the power of our Molten Fire City? Why let you run to Free Winds and make it public, and bring two unknown outsiders into the Molten Fire City..."

Kerak hurriedly bowed his head to be taught.

"Hmph, the mines are affected a bit, it's just less resource revenue... But if these two guys are the sharp ones sent by someone else, if those secret experiments I placed in the upper levels of Molten Fire City leak out, can you afford it?"

"My lord, it was precisely because I was worried about a sharp mix in that I didn't issue the mission according to the regular channels, but instead personally searched for two suitable candidates myself. I've already checked all their details, and there's no problem..."

"No problems at all?" Alfred the Wizard sneered, "If there's no problem, why is there such a big commotion that even our ground floor resource warehouse was robbed?"

"This...my lord, you mean...there's something wrong with these two?"

"There's nothing wrong with that witch, that man witch might not be! I always got the feeling that he didn't have a pure agenda, like he was up to something behind the scenes. But I didn't find anything wrong with him, otherwise how could I have let him leave alive..."

Startled by the news, Kerak whispered, "My lord, shall I send someone to investigate him?"

Alfred thought for a moment, shaking his head, "Fine! Recently several experiments in the Witch Tower are nearing a state of completion, and it's the moment when I need someone to guard them, so I can't leave for now. You find a way to send someone to put out a rumor and acquire some constant gold ore at a high price to see if he reacts..."

"Yes, I'll go arrange it!"

"Hmph, if he's really messing with me, I'll personally uproot his family and make him regret everything he did in Molten Fire City today!"

....................

A month later, Grim successfully returned to the Flame Throne Witch Tower.

And as soon as he entered the Sorcerer's Tower, he eagerly held back the crowd and arrived alone in front of that flame altar, waving his hand and lighting the rune hub at the top of the altar.

As a strange flame ripple trembled and rippled in the void, Grim stretched out his right index finger and lightly scratched the palm of his left hand, and a stream of crimson blood flowed out of the open wound, dripping drop by drop on top of the flame ripple.

With this drop of origin blood guiding him, the flame altar with that mass of his spiritual consciousness instantly crossed millions of miles away and descended somewhere in the underground lava sea.

In the next second, with a slight tremor of the Flame Altar, a dark red void crack suddenly opened above the altar, and two figures of different sizes emerged from it.

It was the Flame Tiger Sindar and the Flame Splitter that had been wandering around at the bottom of the lava sea!

"Kid, after holding back for so long, you can finally share the booty now!" As soon as he emerged from the Void Crack, Flame Tiger Sindar couldn't wait to shout.

It had to be said that the Flame Tiger Sindar was trustworthy as an ally.

Grim's flame billet only had 2nd stage intermediate strength, and after following it for so long, it hadn't even directly descended *to* take that storage ring, which was especially satisfying to Grim.

The flame splitter arrived next to Grim, took out the storage ring from its mouth and tossed it into his hand, then hit him and became one with him once again.

Grim squeezed the storage ring with a slight smile and waved it, and the contents instantly filled the chamber.

There were nearly a hundred wooden boxes of the same size and size.

Flame Tiger Sindar rushed close and clawed apart the first wooden box, and clattered... a number of rectangular metal ingots scattered all over the floor, emitting a crisp metallic sound.

The metal ingots were abnormally heavy, their surfaces coming into contact with the free elemental particles in the air, immediately diffusing a tiny rainbow of elements.

It's a magic iron alloy!

Another box was slapped open, and inside were rows of purple metal ingots with faint purple light flowing on them.

Seeing such purity of constant gold ingots, Flame Tiger Sindar immediately pounced on them with excitement, grabbing them and forcibly stuffing them into his belly.

As flame creatures, neither had the habit of using spatial items, and when they encountered some of their favorite goodies they never ate them indiscriminately, using their huge bellies as storage pockets.

"Lord Sindar..." called Grim, who couldn't watch from the side, softly.

"What for?" Sindar looked at Grim with a nervous look on his face, "Can't I take a little something from you after all the risks I've taken?"

Grim shook his head speechlessly and reached over to hand over a storage ring.

"Since we're working well together this time, I'll give this storage ring to you. With it, you can take whatever you need here with you..."

"Really?"

"Really!"

Xindar looked at Grim suspiciously, thought about it, grabbed the storage ring, or very carefully took away the three boxes of constant gold ingots. It knew in its heart, don't look at the human sorcerer's strange good words, but if you were really greedy and touched his psychological bottom line, it would be hard to get out of this private witch tower.

So it's not greedy, it just takes enough for its own use.

And Grim took away the rest of the crates on the way out.

Just a simple in and out, the chip had counted out all the metal ingots.

A total of 96 wooden crates.

Among them, 13 crates of constant gold ingots, 390 pieces, totaling 120 tons....

Quillas Alloy 32 boxes, 960 blocks, 270 tons total....

24 boxes of Magic Iron Alloy, 720 blocks, 117 tons total....

7 boxes of secret silver, 210 pieces, 300 kg....

5 boxes of fine gold, 150 blocks, 380 tons....

........

........

Boxes of metal ingots that had undergone multiple refinements and purifications, almost all of them were higher-grade magical metals, and were also hard to find high-grade resources on the market. If they were released, Grim and even the Crimson Family would probably not be affected by the lack of magic crystals for decades.

Other magic metals Grim didn't care too much about, but these Quillus alloys were the only ones that immediately drew a smile from him.

With these Quiras alloys, the large war magic weapons that had been put aside for a long time in the goblin realm had a possibility of completion. And each additional magic movement furnace meant the formation of a magic armament army.

But now wasn't the time to cheer and celebrate, Grim eyed Sindar and asked curiously, "Sindar, you have these Constant Gold Ingots, I wonder where you plan to go to digest them? If you don't mind, why don't you take a little stay in my Flame Throne Witch Tower for a while?"

"No... "Sindar flatly refused, "I came to the Wizard World this time to find a suitable metal that can solidify my body. Now that I have these constant gold ingots, I don't need anything else. So it would be most appropriate to return to the Fire Elemental Plane..."

"Fine!" Grim didn't achieve his goal, but he didn't care about that little problem: "How about I open a bit channel and send you back?"

Flame Tiger Sindar smiled heedlessly.

"Don't forget, I'm an authentic Fire Elemental Plane creature, and returning to my own place of origin doesn't require your help at all... You can come find me next time you come to the Fire Elemental Plane!"

It jumped to the top of the flame altar, and with the elemental fluctuations that had not completely dissipated, its two sharp tiger claws struck in rapid succession, tearing open a spatial crack leading to the fire elemental plane and diving headlong into it without a trace.

And when it left, a palm-sized model of a dark red flame tiger appeared on the altar clearing.

Grim walked over and picked it up, sensing a hint of Flame Tiger Sindar's scent on it.

It seemed that this was the token of contact left by Sindar, and if he really returned to the fire elemental plane, it would be much easier to find Sindar with his scent sense.

After sending off Sindar, Grim waved his hand to close the Flame Altar, which was why he returned to his residence.

At the entrance of the residence, Crimson Butler Gargamel had already been waiting here for a long time.

"What is the matter?"

Just sitting down in his chair, Grim asked a strange question.

The Crimson Family had grown to its current size, the number of witches and apprentices within the family had reached three to four hundred, and the number of mundane territories and resource points had reached as many as a hundred. The management of such a large family was naturally left to the care of Gargamel and Meryl, the two witches.

In general, the family affairs in the Alois region had always been managed by Gargamel, while the White Tower in the North was managed by Meryl.

For the most part, Grim had become a shirker and did not get involved in direct family affairs at all.

Anyway, for him, setting up the Crimson Family was just to place a group of close people he cared about, in addition to making it easier for him to gather some resources. Wasting time in order to manage family affairs was something Grim was never willing to do.

Therefore, out of his own heart and selfishness, Grim had delegated all family affairs management authority to Gargamel and Meryl, and he was only responsible for gathering the core strength of the family.

So, normally, Gargamel wouldn't bother Grim with some ordinary family affairs.

And for him to suddenly come here today, there must be something he was having trouble deciding or dealing with!

Gargamel hesitated for a moment, but finally managed to speak up.

"My lord... it's about Emelia!"

"Emelia? What happened to her?" Grim was appalled and asked.

In this Flame Throne Witch Tower, who didn't know that Emelia was the heartthrob of Gargamel and Forest Demon Ava, almost as if she was holding it in her mouth for fear of melting, holding it in her hand for fear of touching it, it was simply painful.

With the two of them covering her, what problems would Emmelia still have?

"Nothing happened to Emelia, my lord...but..."

"But what? Go ahead and tell me, I don't have the time to accompany you in your riddles!"

"She... she seems to have mutated a bit..."
