Age of Adepts

Chapter 1135 Equal Status

With the arrival of the Witch Demon Kangonas, the atmosphere in the arena immediately became solemn and awkward again.

The two sides were not decent people, and the only reason they were able to form an alliance was because of the temptation of huge interests. Now that everything had been settled, the deep-seated contradictions between the two sides also surfaced.

Connors' cold gaze repeatedly roamed and wandered over Grim, seemingly trying to gauge the credibility of Grim's words, but also seemingly hesitating to start a new war.

If Grim was just an ordinary 4th rank wizard, then Congenas wouldn't have hesitated to just start a war. After all, a sorcerer's constitution was considered excellent among all spell casters, and it was simply perfect for concocting necromantic slaves.

However, through some of the previous battles, Kangenas also had a preliminary understanding of the terrifying power of Grim, the powerful fire witch, so it was really hesitant on the matter of whether or not to start the war.

With its current equipment and strength alone, it seemed somewhat difficult to take down this Fire Witch without the protection of the Deadly Legion. The flames that the other party drove and manipulated seemed to be somewhat peculiar, containing a variety of strange law powers inside, which made it a bit difficult for it to deal with.

If those two witch mates on the other side ran over to help out again, perhaps the battle would take a terrible turn for the worse.

At that time, it wouldn't be a question of whether or not Kangenas would start a war, but whether or not the three sorcerers would be willing to let it go!

Silently feeling the powerful spiritual pressure projected by the Witch Demon's cruciform condensed soul fire, Grim's smile remained unchanged, but the air around him had begun to distort and stir slightly. Strands of transparent flame spread and curled around his body, needing only a single thought to quickly transform into a violent and fierce tide of flames.

However, just as the situation was burning and rattling, that witch demon suddenly took a step back and withdrew the raging spiritual pressure.

"Get to know each other again! I am Kangenas, a member of the association of the 'Pan-Universe Witch Demon Grand Alliance', 4th level mid-level, currently residing on the Skeleton Plane, specializing in potions and necromodification..." the Witch Demon Kangenas bowed slightly with an elegant posture, and once again proceeded to Self-introduction.

And with such a gesture, the other party clearly already saw Grim as a 'customer' or 'partner' that it could interact with as an equal.

Although somewhat surprised, Grim still smiled and returned the greeting.

"My name is Grim, a new Elder of the Wizard World's Scatterland Tarin Association, 4th rank Junior. I have control of a human kingdom under me, named Crimson Dynasty, and I usually reside within the Flame Throne Witch Tower. As for what I'm good at... I guess it's magic puppet making and magic pattern drawing!"

"Your Excellency's strength has earned my respect and qualifies you to be my 'friend'. This is my contact information, and perhaps we will still have the need to communicate when we return... If Your Excellency has any particular goodies in your hands, my treasure trove will be sure to please!"

With that, the Witch Demon lifted his right hand, and the jade white bone hand's ring finger detached abruptly and flew slowly towards Grim, held up by an invisible force.

Grim's smile didn't change, and the black pupils of his eyes concealed a strange blue mane as he swiftly scanned the bone finger, making sure that there weren't any offensive or cursing spells attached to it, nor any spell traps, before grasping it in his hand.

"Drop, foreign spirit brand detected, energy scent consistent with Wraith, can be used as an ultra long-range spirit link, no special attachments..."

Grim toyed with it for a moment, and only after the chip had thoroughly checked that the entire bone finger was free of any safety hazards, did he put it into his waistband, and took out a flame crystal in passing.

Grim stroked in the void with his hand, creating a burning flame rune, and spinning rapidly around the flame crystal. When all of the runes were complete, the crimson glow was great, and these flame runes followed some sort of mysterious and mysterious rules to form a three-dimensional flame formation that slowly disappeared into the crystals.

"This is my contact method... I'm looking forward to my next meeting with Your Excellency!"

The Witch Demon Kangenas received the makeshift Flame Crystal, gazed deeply at Grim once more, and turned to leave.

Only after the witch demon's icy and cold breath completely disappeared from his mental perception did Grim relax a bit and breathe a sigh of relief.

It had to be said that one had to be a hundred thousand times more vigilant in dealing with these old monsters, the slightest hint of negligence could lead to some sort of horrible end. So the short fifteen-minute confrontation had already caused Grim to feel a slight mental fatigue.

What's more, in the past two days and nights, he had always been in the midst of constant fighting, chasing and shifting, which had invariably increased his mental exhaustion. Although a mental energy of up to 40 points allowed him to go ten days and half a month without sleeping or feeling sleepy, his mental exhaustion was continuously accumulating and piling up.

Such a state could easily cause him to misjudge or fail to respond if he encountered a dangerous environment, so it was time to find a place to get some rest!

Grim sent out a contact message.

A moment later, the Holly Wizard and the Mangus siblings joined forces and arrived to join him.

Not daring to stay too long in the ruins of the Floating City, the three of them searched for a direction and hurriedly left.

.............

The skies of the Morion bit had turned blood red.

The bits were shaking and the laws were chaotic.

Beneath the huge vault of sky that stretched for tens of millions of miles, there were originless heavenly fires and terrifying Void Hurricanes raging everywhere. The closer one got to the area where the Floating Sky City or the famous Arcane Tower was located, the more notable this situation became and the worse the environment became.

Within the plane, nearly 1/3 of the floating cities fell to the ground in a giant ball of fire, while the other half of the cities suffered from the madness and slaughter of the foreign invaders, and were also reduced to floating ruins.

Fewer than eleven floating cities were able to survive this catastrophe.

Losing the support of the inner surface's arcane energy system, the arcane war facilities that had valiantly and stubbornly resisted the various terrors outside the surface's walls also ceased to function one after another.

The Arcane War that had lasted for 117 years had finally come to an end, and the Arcane Empire was defeated!

As a result of this, the origin of the Arcane Empire, the Morian Plane, was also breached by a large number of powerful foreign races that broke through the barrier of the Plane and began to rush into the interior, slaughtering and capturing resources and slaves with impunity.

There was no lack of powerful individuals like Calamity Creatures, Star Beasts, Void Creatures, and Elemental Lords, as well as intelligent races like Shamans, Underlanders, Alchemists, and Phantom Creatures.

The former rushed into the bitterness in order to feast on it, wantonly killing and tasting the flesh and blood, looting some delicious bitterness in the process. The latter, on the other hand, focused more on the knowledge and civilization system of the Arcane Empire, as well as the many rare resources and materials that were hard to find in other planes.

It was due to their unscrupulousness that the entire Morian Plane quickly began to crumble and fall apart in less than half a month's time.

With the defeat of the Austrian Empire, the original coagulation and thick walls of the Morian Plane were torn open by the intruding foreigners with countless holes and cracks of varying sizes. The surging void storm from outside the surface took the opportunity to roll in, blowing and disintegrating everything inside into tiny particles that were indistinguishable to the naked eye, curling and scattering them to every corner of the interior of the surface.

Grim and the other three avoided the densely populated area and walked among the deep mountains, and the sight they saw along the way was simply apocalyptic.

Large or small cracks could be seen everywhere above the high vault of the sky, and some bizarrely sized creatures emerged from inside the cracks, flapping their wings and shrieking as they rushed to every corner of the bit surface.

Even though Grim and the others were concealed well enough, they still couldn't escape the strange perceptions of these exotic creatures. One by one, they screamed and swooped down, trying to turn Grim and the others into food in their bellies.

Unfortunately, they came and stayed forever!

Each of the three Grim trio used their own means to viciously slaughter a group of these exotic creatures, and they only realized the terrifying nature of these people. Thus a moment later, an exotic strongman riding on the back of a strange flying dragon appeared in front of Grim's three.

"Wizard? Looks like you guys are the attack team that infiltrated into the plane first! Since you've survived this far, you must have gained a great deal... Hurry up, hand over all your loot so that I, Lord Quakerba, might be able to let you live, or else..."

Listening to the other party's arrogant and extreme shouting, Grim looked up and silently took a look at the other party.

This was a strange creature that resembled a humanoid bone demon, the lower half of their body and the flying dragon they rode on almost merged into one, while the upper half of their body was covered in miserably white, hard bone armor. From the top of the skull to the backbone, a series of hard bone spines that resembled flags, the roots of which were over a meter long, with a trace of black smoke lingering at the end, seemed to have some kind of strange power.

Their faces had no noses or ears, only a terrifying set of fanged maws and numerous honeycomb-shaped strange compound eyes. Four arms that were also covered in bone armor were distributed on both sides of their bodies, slightly slender, each holding a few bony spears with strong magical fluorescence.

"Do you know what race they are?" Grim asked quietly.

The Holly Witch and the Mangus siblings couldn't help but shake their heads.

In their past life as witches, most of their energy had been focused on sorcery research and laboratories, and they really didn't know much about the vast expanse of the starry sea world and the many exotic creatures. Therefore, when they suddenly encountered each other at this moment, they were somewhat confused about each other's races and fighting habits.

Seeing a few 'prey' whispering in front of his eyes, looking like he didn't take himself seriously, the exotic strongman couldn't help but rush into a rage, and with a wave of his hand, a large number of strange flying dragons swooped down and launched a swift and violent charge at the three Grim.

The battle was so nonsensical!
