Alchemist Yuki's Strategy

Episode 37: The Beginning of the White Noise Nightmare

What is paffignon?

Generally, it is considered a very rare and expensive ingredient.

Very aromatic and sweet.

Usually heated and cooked and eaten as meat dishes.

Others include sautéed vegetables, grilled, simmered, etc. Tasty no matter what you do.

Raw food is dangerous because of it.

If you eat one, you have an unexplained high fever, and if you eat more than one, you may die as is.

Of course, similar symptoms appear depending on how they are cooked.

The cause of the high heat is unknown, but when there are more cooking steps or the cooking time is longer, it is said that the high heat does not occur.

"It's paffignon. Uh-huh! Hagmushamshah!"

"Hey!? Don't throw up!

"Ugh!? bitterness......"

Die......

I managed to forgive Jody for panicking, picking up the overflowing puffignon from his mouth and eating it.

- Span!

... Jody struck me off the hook when I tried.

"Explain the rationale for why you can say you're okay first."

Jody puts his hand on the hipster dagger just to tell him that if he does, he'll rip his stomach off and take it out. I'm scared.

"... I told you why I like paffignons, didn't I?

"Yes, of course I remember. Tell me you ate paffignon and died."

Oh, no! Don't pull the dagger out because we're not done talking!

"Wait, listen to me! Please!"

"... let's hear it"

Jody put his dagger back in his sheath when he did a full DO GE GA to convince Jody of the suspicion of clouds.

They managed to avoid a painful situation.

"... Phew"

"Early please"

"Wow, okay."

When I took a breather, Jody let me pull out a little dagger.

Apparently my DO GE GA was pointless.

... I'm the dean of the school and the labyrinth lord. I'm bowing my head.

As soon as I thought so, Jody pulled out his dagger to half way through, so I'd like to explain it in silence.

I don't like it hurting.

"Cohon...... er, paffignon is very sweet when eaten raw - it's not. Talk to me, listen to me!

……

Jody pulls out his dagger and prompts him to stay silent and ahead of the story.

Totally. I want you to stop imitating me like you're breaking my hip.

"So. I've had paffignons for a long time, that's why I've been doing it."

"... I've never seen anything like it."

"... well that's... my split arr is arr... I was eating in hiding. I can't help but think of a small amount!

To the point, Jody put his dagger in his sheath with a face that looked back and no longer even pity.

'Huh,' he sighed as he did, and, uh, he looked like he noticed something, and he stared at me.

"... I'm fine because I've eaten for a long time and I'm safe. I understand why you gave up 100 steps... but where did you get that budget from?"

Gikku!

"... Indeed, it was a hundred years ago in Lucia's My Best (...) that I raced down a dragon wand that was in an auction at a labyrinth store (maize shop)"

Giggle, giggle!

"... how many years was the loan after?

"... yes, a year or so?

……

"... it's a hundred years"

"... a hundred and fifty years."

……

Oh, uh? Wasn't it a hundred years?

"I've been asked to extend my repayment period to keep my DP in the safe zone."

Nico smiled Jody.

...... bad. Let's run.

"Now, where the hell did the money come from buying preferences?

Apparently, he sensed my escape. Jody holds my shoulder down disappointingly and makes me stay on the ground.

No longer take all the time off.

I just have to believe in Jody's kindness and tell the truth.

"Well, you see... no matter what you make of the new layer of the labyrinth, no one will come... and the light bill is floating because we have a magical formation of new and magically efficient light sources, Mr. Jody."

Jody held his forehead to my words and meditated his eyes.

"... Did you know that increasing the hierarchy increases DP replenishment?

"Huh?"

"I told you."

"... ehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehehe"

I forgot.

The bad news is it's all paffignon.

So don't pull your cheeks.

"It hurts."

"Since when do you wear clothes because of it?

"... since last year (hi-hen-hara)"

"Since when do you wear clothes because of it?

"... it's been thirty years. (HANHIHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH)"

"...... (Nico)"

"... eheh"

……

The place is a little behind the garden. In the middle of the pond.

A little stone building that occasionally noble ladies use to throw tea parties.

Something about the hot season is a nice place to take a nap here.

"Gussss."

I was so pissed off.

"I have recovered all the paffignons that were native in the garden"

"Wow!

"You can't eat it, can you? I'll sell them all to make up for the DP."

"... Huh?

... Jody, what did you just say? Kikoena kakkatayo?

"In the city it was only confirmed in the garden of the school, so you probably dressed (...) the nutrition supplied to the plants in the garden"

Jody trivially shoots me in the mouth, but now I'm busy thinking about helping Jody get a pile of paffignons so he doesn't notice.

Jody has a pile of paffignons set up right next to Jody to keep me from taking paffignons.

How to take this.

"It's unclear how long it's been growing -"

"... hmm?

As I listened to Jody, staring at Paffignon, Paffignon suddenly stood up.

It's not a joke or anything, there's one paffignon out of the pile of paffignons? I got up.

Jody doesn't seem to realize it, or maybe it's a hallucination I've seen.

I can't feel any signs of an organism in particular even exploring the signs.

I mean hallucinations.

As soon as I concluded that, I saw a raised paffignon jump to Jody.

"Huh!" Fire Arrow (Fire Arrow) "!!

"Huh!? That much... Huh?

- I unleashed an arrow of fire.

Fire arrows that I felt hostile and set off aggressively.

It pierced a hollow puffignon and bounced the enemy backwards of Jody.

"... that much?

"No, anything"

"... Wow, Jody unfairly cursed me -"

"What if you're talking nonsense?"

Right.

"... the result of the analysis, but I knew this was a demon"

"What about the others?

"Everything else is normal paffignon"

Results of a light autopsy or magic flush to get confirmation.

The flying paffignon turned out to be a demon.

There was no doubt about it because it contained demonic stones of rice grain size.

The problem is the cause of the occurrence......

"Perhaps... you were demonized by the dark magic of the labyrinth?

Well, the magic of the labyrinth alone can't make Paffignon rise.

There must be some other cause besides the magic of the labyrinth.

"As long as it takes... Lucia can only rely on (...) when she says this"

"Eh heh."

Jody praised me.

"... ha"

Then report when you find the paffignon in the remaining white waves in the inner part of the city. When I found the walking paffignon, I gave him instructions to crusade.

At night, Jody, with a serious look on his face, was asked about the information gathered.

Things fight for a moment.

In fact, the White Waves who sent them to the woods never returned as one.
