All Worlds Beg the Villainess to Act Like a Human

Chapter 707: She Has a Pair of Zombie Parents (3)

It’s been a month since the apocalypse.

Zombies biting people everywhere, mutant plants and animals have disrupted the entire social order.

The once bustling city is now in ruins, with abandoned cars all over the streets. Severed limbs and dried dark red blood litter the ground, emitting a foul smell. Even the shop signs outside, tilted and askew, are already covered in all sorts of filth.

The advent of the apocalypse brought chaos to humanity, yet the uncertainty and danger quickly forced people to find ways to adapt to the current society.

One by one, bases and teams were formed.

Bases with powerful Superpower Users could seize the most resources, attracting more people to aspire towards them.

Du’an County, a very small county town, saw most of its population turn into zombies post-apocalypse. Those with some capabilities were all moving out.

Teams formed with people who had superpowers, while those without also banded together. No matter how dangerous the roads, survivors had to relocate; a small county was simply not suitable anymore.

However, a family of three in a unit in Du’an County had a conflict due to relocation.

Strangely, the family didn’t engage in intense arguments. Instead, the two adults stood at the room’s door, knocking intermittently.

The door remained unopened, and as the two looked at each other, it was only then they realized their skin was pale, expressionless, with only whites in their eyes.

These weren’t humans; they were clearly two zombies.

Their appearance was clumsy, even a simple act like knocking on a door was slow and awkward.

Perhaps because the door hadn’t opened, the two zombies started pacing and occasionally glancing at each other. Even though those eyes lacked any brilliance and were a bit frightening, they could understand each other’s intentions.

Upon closer inspection, the male zombie held a notebook, filled with densely packed, crooked handwriting, even messier than that of a young child’s.

Yet each line on it was moving, enough to bring tears to one’s eyes.

[You are human.]

[You need to integrate into human life.]

[Listen to your mom and dad.]

[Find a team with superpowers to join, go to the safest base.]

[Mom and Dad will not leave you, quietly protecting you from the sidelines.]

[Be good, listen.]

The room door was long unopened; the two adult zombies began to gesture wildly to each other, occasionally letting out a roar, as if using a mutual understanding communication method.

Just as they were anxiously swaying their bodies, the room door opened.

Qiann Yan came out holding a cat that was excessively plump and orange, immediately halting the two adult zombies’ discussion.

They turned around joyfully, still slow, appearing clumsy, yet somehow endearingly so.

These two adult zombies were the original owner’s parents, zombie father Ruan Xian, and zombie mother Ning Lanxin.

The fat orange cat in Qiann Yan’s arms was a special member of this family, Yuanyuan, who had awakened superpowers to become a Superpower Cat.

Ruan Xian took the notebook in his hand and walked step by step in front of Qiann Yan, trying to bend his somewhat stiff waist, handing the notebook to her. His pale, rigid fingers pointed at the words, making sounds that humans couldn’t understand.

Qiann Yan, however, intuitively looked at the notebook; those words of advice kept her reading for a long time.

Even from these crooked words, one could see the original owner had a pair of parents who loved her very much.

Seeing Qiann Yan holding the cat and staring at the notebook without responding, Ruan Xian and Ning Lanxin began to worry.
