Almark – Northern Sword, Southern Wand
Invitation to Practice
The next morning, in the classroom before class, Almark called out to Nelson.
"Nelson, why don't we practice for the martial arts tournament?"
The words sparkled Nelson's eyes as he waited.
Self-training!
I nodded loudly at that.
"I'll do it, I'll do it! If Almark can teach me, it's a hundred manpower!
Almark is relieved by more reactions than he thought.
Morgan and Raido will be invited.
I see. All right, I'll speak up. "
Nelson stood up well.
"Hey, Morgan!
Morgan listens to Nelson and looks at him in disgust.
"Hmm... I was going to forget about the martial arts tournament until the actual day."
"What are you talking about? I don't know how to forget!
"After all, if Nelson, Almark and Leila win, that's three wins. Me and Raido will be fine if we lose."
According to Morgan, Almark is convinced that so too.
But Nelson shook his head.
"Idiot, if you say three pairs of girls, he'll come out."
"He's... ah"
Morgan also looks as if he has noticed something.
"I wonder if she's against me... Rosphilia"
"Rosphilia?"
Almark reacts to the first name he asks.
"Is she strong?
Ah.
Nelson nods.
"Wow, she's an excellent woman. I can do anything. I was second in my exam before my vacation."
"Two."
Next to Wallis. Leila was definitely number four.
"I don't know if I'm going to play with us or with one group. I don't even know if Leila can win if she's the one."
Almark remembered what Leila said yesterday.
"I hate losing more."
Well, that's why that Leila went out of her way to practice martial arts.
"Even boys are Koren, Eston, Polois. It's tough around here. I don't know if I can win."
"Then I won't be your opponent!
Morgan says with a crying face, but Nelson won't forgive him.
"That's why you're practicing. I don't know. It's him."
"I can't believe I'm practicing now...."
"What if I lose because of you!
Nelson is getting excited.
"Losing means losing more than three people, so it's not my fault."
Morgan desperately disagrees.
Morgan certainly has a point.
"You're right, but come on...."
"Morgen"
Almark tapped Morgan gently on the shoulder.
"If you can't just do it, you can't help it. But if you lose in real life without even practicing..."
Almark hid his voice and looked at Leila, who was sitting in the window seat.
"Maybe Leila will get angry."
Hih
Morgan literally shrunk when he heard it.
"Okay, I got it. Let's do it. Don't be so intimidated by the two of us."
The two of you go next to Raido.
Reido is the son of a shoemaker in the kingdom of Foretta.
Martial arts and magic can be done without much haste.
Practice. You two gonna tell me? Likes "
Reido said so immediately and laughed with a smile.
"Reido, I want to split your motivation into Morgan's bastards at least."
Nelson holds Raidow's shoulder.
"So, when are you going to do it? After school?"
Nelson nods to Raidow's question.
"Oh, that's right. Say," Almark. "
"No, actually...."
Almark looks at the two of them unfortunately.
"After school, I have a tutorial at Ilmis. It's going to be a long time since it's over...."
Nelson, ahh, leaks his voice.
No, I guess not.
"So, what about in the morning?"
"Morning?"
"Yes, I asked Dr. Bowen to lend me my sword and armor and practice early in the morning."
"I don't mind."
Raidow will respond immediately.
"Thank you, Raido. Where's Nelson?"
"You can tell me, but you don't hate me."
Nelson nodded as well.
"... and then you. What do we do, Morgan?"
Almark called out to Morgan, who was waiting behind his ear.
"You can't say you don't like it anymore. I'll do it. I'll do it."
Morgan raised his hands to surrender.
"If we don't do it for real on the same team as Leila... Wendy's team would be so happy."
Nelson smiles and smiles at Morgan's spilling shoulders.
"Wendy's got a torque team. If you don't mind, I'd like you to replace me with Pillman."
"It's a lie, a lie. Almark's team is fine."
Morgen said in a hurry.
"Okay, let's practice tomorrow morning."
The three nodded in Almark's words.
The practice is now ready anyway.
And then....
Almark thinks.
I don't know anything about other classes of students.
I wonder if we need to gather information and conduct hostile inspections.
