Chapter 1323 - 339: Glory III_2
A gentle wave of light passed over every soldier allied with Brand, and the wounds on these soldiers began to heal at a visibly fast pace. When the eight waves of light fully swept across the battlefield, even the soldiers who were missing limbs grew their arms and legs back and stood up from the ground.
In mid-air, Char had just used a magic shield to rescue Medisha from a Templar’s attack. But Andreg was then pierced in the abdomen by another female Templar who rushed in, nearly cleaved in two. The Vampire Princess let out a light hum, lost consciousness, and fell from the sky, but just at that moment, a gentle white aura passed through her body, and her wounds began to rapidly heal. After eight consecutive waves, the Vampire Princess opened her eyes once again.
She paused in mid-air and halted her fall.
More importantly, despite having been exhausted from the continuous battle, it was as if her body was reinvigorated with vitality, as though she had undergone several hours of complete rest.
A miracle!
At that moment, everyone had only one thought in their hearts, and even the noble private soldiers felt as if a divine messenger of a Life God was fighting alongside them. You can imagine what kind of morale boost it would be for ordinary soldiers not to worry about injury or disability on the battlefield. Immediately, a tidal wave of cheering erupted from the Princess Army.
Princess’s troops were galvanized, while in contrast, the already low morale of the Northern Alliance further dwindled. If not for the monk soldiers of the Flame Temple supporting them from above, the nobles’ army would likely have immediately entertained the thought of retreat.
Williams furrowed his brow, "Stop that Summoner, don’t let him activate those two artifact books!" he ordered his men—though awkwardly, Williams, after breaking through his power limit and swinging his sword earlier, benefited greatly but was now somewhat drained. He was more than capable of protecting himself, but breaking through the Black Tower Wizard’s defenses and advancing against Brand was proving difficult.
He could only command the remaining eleven Templars to attack Brand.
Upon hearing this order, Char, Medisha, Lopar, and Andreg immediately sensed danger. After all, the eleven Templars of the Flame Temple were mighty beings with Elemental Enlightenment. Their defense already seemed lacking; if their opponents decided to bypass them and attack Lord Brand, they truly had no way to stop them.
"Brand." Char formed a wall of slowing time elements in front of himself while reminding Brand.
"I know." Brand replied.
He threw out another card, his hand flashing red, as a mass of flames bloomed from the woods. "Burning Prison Giant Spirit!" Upon seeing the giant monster formed from the flames, Williams’ heart cried out, "Martha save us!" Brand had summoned the Fire Giant Spirit, but it was upgraded to the more advanced Burning Prison Giant Spirit under the Golden Radiance Battle Banner’s enhancement. It looked similar to the Fire Giant Spirit, just larger, with golden flames swirling with black fire of the Burning Hell beneath, and crucially, it could self-destruct.
As high-ranking personnel of the Flame Temple, the Templars were naturally familiar with the Fire Element Plane and the traits of certain creatures living there. Therefore, when the massive fiery monster appeared in their sight, everyone’s face turned pale.
It was a terrifying entity at the Golden Peak.
But retreating was apparently too late.
In fact, at that moment, everyone on the battlefield felt the sky darken slightly, but it was merely an illusion caused by their pupils constricting to adapt to the intense light. A dazzlingly bright mini-sun slowly rose from the woods, overshadowing everything around it.
Then a scorching shock wave swept across the ground, and even the rain in the sky seemed to evaporate instantly.
The eleven deeply involved Templars were even worse off, the two at the forefront suffering significant injuries, with one’s chest armor and shoulder armor melting under the high temperature, leaving burnt marks on their face. The others had no choice but to retreat, and their hastily formed encirclement collapsed.
But what was more unbearable was that as soon as the Burning Prison Giant Spirit dissipated, two white rings spread from the Life Holy Scripture, and the wounds on Char, Medisha, Lopar, and Andreg vanished once again.
