Chapter 1601: Part 4: First Secret Land Battle
Secret Land Battlefield
I observed the surroundings. I saw changes in their attack pattern. Instead of attacking me right away, the flying creatures were communicating with each other.
Seeing that, I felt a sense of foreboding. I immediately thought of the ancient spirit and asked, "Do you know what’s going on?"
"They might be ready for a joint attack. Their only strengths are their speed and strong jaws. If they try to attack together, you have to be careful," the ancient spirit’s voice sounded.
Hearing that, I said, "Okay."
The strange situation was noticed by some Red Mark Warriors. Though it was nighttime, they were all veteran warriors. They were keeping an eye on their surroundings.
From time to time, they looked around after releasing their attacks.
They could be sneak-attacked by the foreign creatures; it had happened before. But this time, they saw something strange.
A young man was a bit far from the fighting area. He was facing the flying creatures just like them, but he was not afraid.
They also saw the foreign creatures gathering in the sky.
Seeing that, they didn’t know what to do. They were busy with their own fights. The foreign creatures on their side were not letting them go.

The foreign creatures made a weird sound. They were gathering in numbers. Right then, ten Red Mark Level creatures moved at the same time.
They circled in the air before surrounding the target.

I released a purple lightning attack. A dense purple lightning wheel appeared around me. The foreign creatures saw the purple lightning wheel.
Before they could pull away, they collided directly into the wheel.

A huge detonation occurred. It blasted away the foreign creatures. All ten black flying foreign creatures were electrocuted by the attack.
Thud!
They landed in different directions with a heavy crashing sound. The shockwave from the crash spread across the surroundings.
For one second, the other fights stopped. Everyone looked in this direction. They saw a young warrior standing amidst the attacks of the flying creatures.
Instead, the flying creatures had all received a counterattack, landing in different directions.
They wondered who the young man was. Among the many warriors, there were some Red Mark Warriors who had been present during the puppet hall record.
They whispered the name of Zack Lockwood. Slowly, the name of Zack Lockwood spread among the crowd. They didn’t expect to see the young man who was on the breaking news today on the battlefield.
Among the crowd, Marcus and his members were present. There were also Reece and his members.
They were all present in different parts of the front area, but they were all discussing the same thing, including Julia and her friends.
Julia had watched the whole scene. She saw how Zack Lockwood electrocuted the ten black flying foreign creatures in one move.
They were not ordinary creatures; they were all Red Mark foreign creatures. It sent a cold chill down her spine.
It showed that Zack Lockwood had indeed completed the puppet hall record, but he must have been playing around inside.
He had killed all ten black flying foreign creatures in one move, and these black flying foreign creatures were stronger than the Red Mark Puppets.
Yet Zack Lockwood had spent more than two hours in the puppet hall. It showed that if Zack Lockwood had wanted to, he could have cleared hard mode as well.

The black flying foreign creatures darted toward the Purple Mark warrior. More than fifty black foreign creatures communicated with each other.

The next second, they rushed toward the target.
The human Red Mark Warriors on the ground were all stunned. They saw that the black flying creatures were going to target the young man next.
The faces of Marcus, Reece, Julia, and the others changed drastically. Silas was not here; he was on another battlefield.
If he had been on this battlefield, he would have made the same decision to discard his hostile plans toward Zack Lockwood.
Now Marcus, Reece, Julia, and the others watched the scene. They didn’t know what Zack Lockwood was going to do next.
