The Dark Planet

Different creatures were in this meeting. It didn’t take long for the reports from their side to start coming in. They immediately noticed something had happened in the first secret land.

The results of the nine other secret lands were in their favour.

"What’s going on?" the oval-shaped creature asked.

The other higher-ups were surprised as well.

"All the members were wiped out in the first secret land. Did the Quasi-God Jane take action?" The creature with long wings raised the question.

"No powerhouses above Red Mark can break the rules. If it had happened, the elders would have alerted us. Something else happened," the oval-shaped creature replied.

Next, the important foreign creatures debated and gave their side of the arguments. They wanted to find out what had happened in the first secret land.

They didn’t want the situation to continue into the next battle.

"Alright, let’s summon the elders," the oval-shaped creature said.

Instead of arguing endlessly, it was better to ask the elders. They would know the reason right away.

Like the human side, they had elders responsible for monitoring. But they could not record footage.

This was because they could not go near the place. They could only watch it from the spatial crack on their side, which was outside the planetary barrier. Thus, they could not record it with devices.

The energy would destroy the devices, but they had watched the whole battle. They knew what had happened across the ten secret land battlefields.

Soon, the foreign creatures who were watching the first secret land battlefield arrived. They were of different sizes and shapes.

The room’s ceiling was high enough to accommodate creatures twenty feet tall. Six foreign creatures appeared.

They, too, were releasing the power of the Red Mark Warriors.

The oval-shaped creature began questioning them. The other creatures in the meeting looked toward them, their faces showing various emotions.

One of the foreign creatures began to speak.

"A Purple Mark rank warrior appeared in the first secret land battlefield. He single handedly wiped out the members with his purple lightning."

Gasp!

Shock filled the meeting room. The higher-ups couldn’t believe what they were hearing.

"Are you joking with us?"

"Tell us what really happened. Otherwise, be ready to face the consequences," the winged creature threatened.

Hearing that, the foreign creatures looked at each other.

"It’s the truth. A young man started killing the Red Mark members in a single move. He didn’t even suffer any injuries. When he killed the last member, the battle was over. He was ejected from the secret land along with the others," another creature said.

Next, the other foreign creatures gave their briefings. Everyone said the same thing. The creatures were alarmed.

Just earlier, a weird creature had commented that the human side had no next generation. Right now, they were hearing such news. It was shocking news to them.

"Get the name of the warrior as soon as possible. If the information is true, this warrior could become a nightmare if he becomes a Red Mark Warrior," the oval-shaped creature commented.

The other higher-ups were silent, but they basically agreed with the reasoning. They had to eliminate this human genius.

"If this person becomes a Quasi-God, what will happen to us?" the winged creature asked.

Hearing that, the other foreign creatures grew tense as well. They were unsettled. Red Mark creatures could be easily wiped out by a Quasi-God.

"This human won’t get the chance to live. We have our own powerhouses as well," the oval-shaped creature said.

Its voice sounded serious. The other foreign creatures didn’t make any comments.

The oval-shaped creature then dismissed the meeting. The other creatures left one after another.

When everyone was gone, only three large creatures remained: the oval-shaped creature, the winged creature, and another weird-shaped creature.

When the battle was fully over, their powerhouses would ask for a report. This time, they didn’t know what to report. They could not hide the truth.

"Have you decided?" the oval-shaped creature asked.

Hearing that, the others remained silent. Their powerhouses above Red Mark were short-tempered and hated failure.

If they learned about the humiliating loss, they could take their anger out on them.

"Let’s hide the news this time. It’s just the first secret land battlefield. We got victories in the other nine battlefields," the weird foreign creature said.

"The higher-ups will find out the truth easily. Giving a false report won’t save us," the winged creature said.

The oval-shaped creature made a decision.

"Let’s wait for more information. If we can kill that young genius soon, we can send the report along with the news of his death," the oval-shaped creature said.

"It’s a good idea," the winged creature said.

The weird-shaped creature agreed as well.

...

Residence

A few minutes later,

The administration sent a reply back. They were sending the selected treasure right away. I saw the message on the device.

"Looks like you have to enter the essence chamber again," the ancient spirit’s voice sounded.

"I’m ready to spend as much time as needed to improve my strength," I replied.

Just as I was about to put away the device, I heard a knock on the door. Surprised, I put the device away and walked up to the door.

I pressed the button and saw who was standing outside.

A hint of surprise appeared in my eyes. The person was none other than Elder Marie.

Creak!

I opened the door and greeted Elder Marie.

"Can I come inside?" she asked.

"Yes, of course." After saying that, I welcomed her inside.

Then we came to the living area. I asked her to sit down.

Elder Marie sat down in a seat. Seeing that, I sat opposite her.

"Elder, what is it about? Are there any instructions from the administration?" I asked.

Elder Marie shook her head.

She smiled and said, "I came to check on you. You did something crazy out there, and now you are resting here like nothing happened."

Hearing that, I didn’t know what to say.

"I just killed the enemies," I replied.

"It’s a simple answer," Marie said.
