Foreign Creature Side

All the important figures from the side of the foreign creatures were gathered in one of the black, spiky towers. They were waiting for the result.

Not only the higher ups, but elite races such as the Horned Humanoids and Dead Fangs were waiting for the results as well.

These two elite races were near the top of the list when it came to the army of the foreign creatures. They had been given the task to eliminate the human warrior, but they had failed.

The failure brought them the greatest humiliation. The other elite races wondered what had happened to them. To them, human warriors were usually easy to kill.

Only Red Mark Warriors and above could pose a real threat to them.

Purple Mark Warriors and below were easy targets. If not for the strong boundary protecting their planet and the presence of human powerhouses above the Red Mark Level, they would have easily brought down the entire planet.

That was why, in order to deal with lesser threats, creatures below the elite level were given the chance to eliminate them.

On the other side, the human powerhouses above the Red Mark Level posed a real challenge to the foreign creature world.

It brought a huge shock to them. The higher ups of the foreign creatures looked at each other, unable to believe what was happening in front of them. The crack had closed. They knew what it meant.

But they refused to accept reality. These higher ups came from various races of foreign creatures, but none were from the true elite races.

The actual elders of the strong elite races did not hold such minor posts; they were busy dealing with human powerhouses above the Red Mark Level.

Finally, one of the creatures could no longer bear the suspense. In its own language, it announced that the Thorn Reaper was dead. Its voice shattered the heavy silence.

Those creatures who had hesitated to accept reality finally broke their silence as well.

They admitted that the Thorn Reaper, an elite creature at the Half-Step Red Mark level had died inside Boundary No. 5.

The suspected killer was none other than Zack Lockwood. This revelation instantly elevated Zack Lockwood’s threat level.

Everyone had previously assumed Zack Lockwood was merely a Purple Mark Warrior who could fight across ranks.

However, this achievement was beyond their imagination. Earlier, Zack Lockwood had killed a Horned Humanoid back in the warrior camp. Next, he killed another humanoid from an elite race.

Then he killed a Dead Fang, shocking everyone, and now he had killed a Thorn Reaper, a creature comparable in strength to a Half-Step Red Mark Warrior.

In the past, the Thorn Reaper species had killed human powerhouses at the Half-Step Red Mark level warriors known on the human side as Faction Leaders.

Everyone made a unanimous decision: they had to inform their superiors. This matter could not be kept a secret, as the death of a Thorn Reaper was a massive loss.

If this news leaked to the other elite races, it would cause widespread unrest.

The local leaders decided to pass the news up the chain of command. The matter of Zack Lockwood was no longer theirs to handle.

Time passed.

The news was reported to their superiors. At first, the high command didn’t believe it, thinking the lower ranked members weren’t doing their jobs properly.

However, as reports continued to pour in, a Red Mark Level foreign creature finally paid attention.

This Red Mark Level creature was from one of the elite races as well, possessing a form similar to a giant toad.

The creature was known for possessing enormous toxic energy and a dark aura with both corrosive and poisonous properties.

Furthermore, the Venom Maws were notoriously fond of torturing humans, particularly genius warriors.

After hearing about the incident, this Venom Maw took a special interest, while other Red Mark creatures ignored it.

Compared to other elite races, the Venom Maw race possessed powerhouses above the Red Mark Level.

Those powerhouses above the Red Mark Level were no longer categorized merely as warriors.

So, when the subordinate leaders heard the news, they were relieved that someone was willing to listen. The matter could now be handed over to the Venom Maw elite race.

Soon, word spread to other foreign creatures, including elite races like the Horned Humanoids and Dead Fangs.

Thorn Reapers were few in number and lived in their own isolated dungeons.

Whether the other Thorn Reapers knew yet or not, chaos erupted among the camps of the Horned Humanoids and Dead Fangs.

The leader of the Dead Fangs was shocked; it hadn’t heard of a human this formidable in a very long time. It felt relieved that it hadn’t sent more Dead Fangs to their deaths.

Just like the Horned Humanoid leadership, it resolved not to send any more of its kin, though it still regretted the loss of the one who had died. The Horned Humanoids felt the exact same regret.

They were glad they hadn’t sent more of their people to early graves, which would have increased their casualties. Still, the incident served as a stark reminder.

They came to the fresh realization that Zack Lockwood was a far greater threat than anticipated. As other elite races learned of the news, they too understood how difficult he would be to kill.

They knew their local commanders couldn’t handle this matter, but no one knew who would step up to take on the challenge next.

If Zack Lockwood wasn’t killed soon, he would eventually become a powerhouse above the Red Mark Level.

Then, he would pose a massive threat and offer strong resistance against their realm.
