I entered the essence chamber once again. The door behind me shut automatically. I turned on the switches.

The energy began to flow out from the inlet. I waited for the rich energy to fill the chamber. Soon, the chamber was filled with rich, pure energy.

I walked to the middle of the room and sat cross-legged on the ground. Then, I took the black crystallized sprout and held it in my hand.

"Start using your purple lightning method," the ancient spirit said.

Hearing that, I didn’t waste time and began doing just that. As I started running the purple lightning method, the purple bolt rune in my mind throbbed.

The purple lightning force separated from the rich energy in the room and began to drift toward my body.

When the rich energy entered my body, I began to guide it along the route mentioned in the method. It has the mix of that special energy as well.

At the same time, I focused on the Black Crystallized Sprout.

"Don’t worry, the changes will happen slowly. Just don’t lose your concentration," the ancient spirit’s voice said.

Hearing that, I closed my eyes and began to pay full attention to the process.

After circulation, the purple lightning force settled down inside the dantian. It didn’t take long for the purple lightning seed to react.

The Black Crystallized Sprout had a reaction as well. The black crystal began to leak energy. The black energy then entered my body and flowed around with the rest of the purple lightning force.

As the energy flowed through the passages, I could feel the changes. The routes were tempered further. It brought me immense pain.

I endured the pain and didn’t stop circulating the energy. After circulation, the purple lightning force and the black energy settled down inside the dantian.

Right then, the purple lightning seed reacted and absorbed the black energy. Lightning arcs appeared around it.

The purple lightning seed continued to absorb the black energy.

As time passed, the Black Crystallized Sprout continued to leak black energy. I absorbed it into my body.

The ancient spirit watched silently. It thought that the old sprout might have crystallized, but even a small percentage of energy would be good for the purple lightning seed.

The ancient spirit thought that the purple lightning seed might enter the germination stage first.

The Red Mark Warriors were busy again. The injured ones were receiving treatment in the hospital, while the rest of them were called back for training.

Inside the essence chamber, the purple lightning seed was developing. It was also strengthening the purple lightning force settled inside the dantian.

The purple lightning force already seemed darker. Now it was getting even darker.

All because of the purple lightning seed. Not only that, but the power of the purple lightning seed was increasing as well.

The ancient spirit kept watching. Then, under the watchful eyes of the ancient spirit, the purple lightning seed entered the germination stage.

Yet the energy in the black crystallized sprout was not completely exhausted. The black energy was still entering the body.

As time passed, the purple lightning seed in the germination stage absorbed more black energy. It didn’t take long for a young root to emerge.

It was a new sprout. Seeing that, the ancient spirit was shocked. The speed was too fast. The new sprout was now absorbing the black energy.

The sprout was purple in color, resembling a purple plant.

There was a tinge of black runes covering it completely.

The ancient spirit was surprised. It had underestimated the lightning seed. It thought Zack Lockwood had received the best purple lightning seed from the elders.

Even without the black crystallized sprout, Zack Lockwood could develop the purple lightning seed with enough resources.

The ancient spirit paid attention to the purple lightning force. It should be called dark purple lightning force now; there was nothing purple about it anymore.

It was different from other black lightning variants because the current dark nature was an evolved form of the purple lightning seed. The dark power came from the Dark Crystallized Sprout.

I opened my eyes. I saw small pieces of crystallized glass. The next second, I felt something in my mind.

When I focused on it, I found that the purple lightning bolt rune had changed. The size of the bolt rune had grown bigger, and it was now darker in color.

Then I paid attention to the purple lightning seed in my dantian. Storms raged in my heart. I saw that the purple lightning seed was no more.

It should now be called the dark purple lightning sprout. It looked just like the sprout that was inside the black crystal earlier.

"Congratulations, you have evolved such a powerful treasure," the ancient spirit’s voice sounded.

"What’s next?"

"Don’t tell me it’s going to become a tree," I said.

The ancient spirit was taken aback.

"Don’t think too much about it. You will know in the future. Now you should check your purple lightning power," the ancient spirit’s voice said.

"It’s better to call it dark purple, so as not to confuse it with the black lightning of others," I said.

My purple lightning was already darker before, but there had only been faint traces, not completely dark. Now, I could not find a single trace of purple.

I paid attention to my dantian and saw that the dark purple force had filled the space.

My mouth curved into an arc. The ancient spirit saw Zack Lockwood’s reaction.

"You killed the Red Mark Creature with one move earlier. Now you can kill groups of them in one move," the ancient spirit’s voice said.

"You put it well," I replied.

Next, I decided to test it inside the puppet hall. It was going to be the right place. I might clear the other modes faster than the easy mode.
