Chapter 1603: Part 6: First Secret Land Battle
Secret Land Battlefield
Marcus and the others watched the battle. They felt useless right now. Not even the flying foreign creatures respected them.
All the creatures flying in the air were targeting Zack Lockwood. They ignored the others as weak.
"It’s kind of embarrassing," Marcus said.
Hearing that, his followers understood the feeling as well. They wanted to fight, not just stand around uselessly.
"Come with me." After saying that, Marcus rushed towards Zack Lockwood.
He knew that in order to face the flying foreign creatures, he needed to fight together with Zack Lockwood. Only then would the creatures notice them.
More than 20 Red Mark Warriors followed him from behind. Marcus was not the only one who had figured out the situation; others had seen through it as well.
It was just that no one had taken the first step. Now, seeing Marcus charge forward, the other warriors collected their thoughts.
One by one, they started heading towards Zack Lockwood, especially the veteran Red Mark Warriors who had been hesitating earlier.
After watching Marcus, they pushed back their hesitation and started joining him.
On the other hand, Reece and the others watched the scene. Reece looked at his friends and made a decision.
"If the news about this situation gets out, it will be embarrassing. Let’s go and join them," Reece said to his friends.
Hearing that, everyone agreed, even the heavily built warrior who had already changed his opinion about Zack Lockwood.
Swoosh!
Next, they started heading towards Zack Lockwood. It didn’t take long for others to join.
Julia and her black-haired friend didn’t know whether to laugh or cry.
"He made everyone fight together," she commented.
"It’s going to be huge news," the black-haired friend said.
"Let’s go and fight against the creatures," Julia said.
The black-haired warrior nodded her head. Then, they both joined the crowd.
Now, the entire crowd was moving towards Zack Lockwood.
Meanwhile, my gaze swept across the place. I saw that not only were the flying foreign creatures coming towards me, but the Red Mark Warriors were coming towards me as well.
"What’s going on?" I asked myself.
"It appears they want to fight together. The foreign creatures have been ignoring them for a long time," the ancient spirit’s voice rang out.
Hearing that, I was surprised. Then, I shifted my attention to the remaining creatures. I continued to use my bloodline power to kill them.
Slowly, the number of flying foreign creatures began to decrease. By the time Marcus and his group arrived, they started fighting as well.
The number of creatures targeting me was considerably reduced as more people appeared to fight alongside me.
Boom!
The foreign creatures were attacked by different types of Inheritance powers.
Right then, I saw a massive red arc in the sky pulsating towards a flying creature. It came in contact with the wings.
The next second, the red arc sliced through the wings like butter.
A hint of surprise appeared in my eyes. It had been a long time since I had come across the power of the Red Moon Inheritance.
I looked around for the person. Then, I saw a familiar face. The person was none other than Julia.
"She is from the Red Moon University. Then why did she show hostility earlier?" I asked myself.
Then, I shook my head before refocusing on the battle.
Time passed.
The number of foreign creatures was reduced to less than ten. Earlier, more than two hundred warriors had joined the battle.
The number of black flying foreign creatures had been even higher before. Now, their numbers were dwindling. They were about to wipe out the enemies.
It was going to be a record, and it was made possible because of one person. That person was none other than Zack Lockwood.
Meanwhile, I used my five-finger beams to kill the last black flying foreign creatures.
"Are they all killed?" I asked the ancient spirit in my mind.
"Yes, all of them have been killed," the ancient spirit replied.
A bright smile appeared on my face.
"We won!"
"We wiped out the enemies!"
"It’s a record!"
The Red Mark Warriors around me started shouting. The win was a big deal for them. They were tasting such a victory for the first time.
It hadn’t happened before. Even the veterans were happy.
Marcus, Reece, Julia, and the others all had the same smile on their faces. They couldn’t believe they had set a record.
It was the first-ever record set in the Tier-3 Sub-Post in recent memory. They didn’t know when the last such record had been made.
Everything had happened due to one person, and that person was none other than Zack Lockwood. The veteran warriors were even more shocked.
They had been fighting battles all their lives, especially after becoming Red Mark Warriors.
Most of those battles were about survival; they had never achieved a decisive victory like today. The senior warriors looked towards the young Purple Mark Warrior in shock.
They remembered his name. The name Zack Lockwood would be forever etched in their minds.
Meanwhile, I noticed everyone’s gaze on me.
I avoided their gaze and spoke to the ancient spirit in my mind.
A few minutes later,
Swoosh!
I felt the secret land rejecting me. Before I knew it, darkness surrounded me. My body was suspended inside the dark space.
Splash!
Then, I found myself in the seawater. I saw a massive black crack in front of me. Seeing that, I understood that I had been ejected from the secret land.
I realized it was time to go; otherwise, I would be mobbed by the people. I started swimming ahead.
After some time, I used my flight ability to emerge from the water. Then, I began to fly back towards my residence.
Swoosh!
While flying, I noticed there were already Red Mark Warriors on the shore returning from the battlefield. I was right—there were other secret land battlefields.
I continued flying towards my residence. Soon, I reached the building. Instead of landing on the ground, I flew up to the window on the 15th floor.
I entered through the window and walked up to my room. I used the access card to open the door.
Then, I shut the door, went over to the sofa, and lay down on it.
