Seeing the prey was already claimed, the two of them prepared to leave.
However, just as they were about to leave, the crocodile—which was getting beaten to a pulp—had other plans.
The crocodile, which had been on the verge of death, suddenly had its belly begin to swell rapidly.

The entire crocodile, especially its belly, was blown to bits. Blood and gore flew everywhere. The scene was incredibly bloody.

"If the two of us hadn’t reacted fast enough, you probably wouldn’t be seeing us right now," Amber Sheridan said. "It’s the first time I’ve ever seen this type of Hunter so late in the game. It looked like the product of several Hunters fused together."
"So, did you take care of it in the end?"
This was Perry Yates’s biggest concern.
If they had, that was good. If not, then they would have one more enemy to face.
And this enemy wasn’t like the Plesiosaur, which only came out at sunset and disappeared at sunrise.
"Of course we took care of it. Master Ford had to use a five-star item to finally deal with that Hunter."
Hearing that Evan Fuller actually had a five-star item, Perry Yates looked at him in shock.
’This guy has a five-star item, and I didn’t even... alright, I never actually looked closely at his item cards.’

Still, Perry Yates forced Amber Sheridan to experience her life for a day. After all, the wearable armor was just an item, not a Skill.

After giving Perry Yates a sincere apology, he hastily followed Evan Fuller out.

It wasn’t until the afternoon that Perry Yates finally pulled her hands away from the Venomous Python.

Over the past few days, as edible prey became scarcer, the Plesiosaur had grown more irritable. Just last night, it had destroyed nearly half the trees on the island.
"When are we making our move?"
Perry Yates put away the Venomous Python’s corpse and looked to Evan Fuller to ask.
"Tomorrow."
Evan Fuller retracted his gaze, the intensity in his eyes gradually calming as he spoke lightly.
"Tomorrow? Why not today?" Amber Sheridan was confused.
’We’ve waited this long, why postpone it for another day?’
"Today is not the opportune moment."
Evan Fuller took out a very old-looking calendar from his pocket. Perry Yates couldn’t make out what was written on it.
But the moment Evan Fuller took out the calendar, Amber Sheridan instantly fell silent.

Between the sky and underground, the three of them chose to build on the ground.
In reality, both options were similarly unsafe, but Evan Fuller insisted on choosing the ground. His reason was:
"Today is auspicious for breaking ground."
Perry Yates: "...???"
The three of them dug several shelters in various spots on the island, reinforcing the surrounding soil and planting Space Grass inside to prevent loose rock and debris from shifting.
After a full day of work, night fell.
Hearing the familiar sound from the direction of the lake, Perry Yates knew the Plesiosaur had arrived.
She took the Venomous Python out of her Space Backpack, and then her figure instantly vanished from the spot.
Perry Yates didn’t choose the hiding spot where Evan Fuller and Amber Sheridan were. Instead, she picked a location closer to the lake. The darkest place is right under the lamp, after all.
After five continuous days of Ascension by Perry Yates, this Venomous Python was no longer the same creature it once was.
The moment she set it down, an alluring scent began to spread through the area. The Plesiosaur naturally caught the smell and even quickened its pace.
Through her Spiritual Body, Perry Yates saw the Plesiosaur quickly approach the Venomous Python, lower its head to hook the python’s body, and then swallow it in just a few gulps.
