Roman Rowe’s laugh broke the increasingly tense atmosphere.

Another man at the head of the table, who had been dozing, snapped to attention when he heard the meeting was over, pulling his legs in.

He stood up, invigorated, and asked excitedly, "Is the meeting finally over? Is that damn woman gone?"

The woman had planned to make a cool exit, but first came Lily Hart’s provocation, and then the mockery from some unknown man.

The final blow was delivered by the direct heir of the O’Malley Family. It was one thing for him to be nonchalant and half-asleep throughout the entire meeting.

But at the very end! The very end! He even called her a damn woman!

The woman struggled to maintain her elegance, smoothing her long, straight black hair. "Yes, the meeting is adjourned."

"Frank O’Malley, if you call me a damn woman one more time, I’ll tear your mouth off!" said the woman, whose name was Cheryl Rivers, her voice elegant yet vicious.

Frank O’Malley rubbed his nose and readily backed down. "Fine, I won’t. Just don’t go tattling on me!"

Cheryl Rivers sneered. Ignoring him, she turned to Lily Hart and said in a commanding tone, "In five days, I want to see the supplies you’ve prepared."

"And if I don’t?" Lily wasn’t some pushover, and she wouldn’t stand for repeated threats.

Cheryl Rivers’s gaze went past her to the group of men behind her. She sneered, "Do you really think they can protect you?"

Lily Hart hadn’t been planning to rely on them anyway—

The next instant, Stan Sterling suddenly fell to his knees, spitting up blood. His fingers clawed at the ground.

"Stan Sterling?!" Lily Hart whirled around in shock, rage surging within her.

Before anyone could help him up, Seth was also hit by the pressure. He abruptly doubled over, coughing up blood, his face turning deathly pale.

She summoned the system in her mind. ’I need the RV. Bring it here.’

System: [What about the other buildings? They can’t be too far from the RV, but they can be shrunk into models first.]

Because Lily Hart had brought everyone to the meeting this afternoon, she had closed up the shops.

So there was no one around there now, except for the six little ones still at the convenience store.

But Lily Hart couldn’t worry about that now. ’Shrink them,’ she commanded the system urgently. ’Put them in my storage space for now. The RV, bring it over.’

The system agreed and immediately carried it all out.

Frost Shaw and Roman Rowe helped Stan Sterling up, while Leo Colby supported Seth.

The others wiped away the blood and fed them hemostatic medicine.

Leo Colby and the others wore grave expressions. They felt that this fight was now unavoidable.

That woman had gone too far!

[It’s done,] the system prompted.

Lily Hart stood rooted to the spot, her back to Cheryl Rivers, murderous intent already forming in her heart.

Harming the people close to her was something she would never tolerate!

Seeing this, Cheryl Rivers burst out laughing, toying with her smooth, long, straight black hair.

"I told you, mortals can never stand against The Mysterious Clan," she said, her arrogance palpable.

"Cheryl! What are you doing? We can’t kill people!" Frank O’Malley said urgently.

"Stay out of this—" Cheryl Rivers said with disgust, her expression disdainful as she continued to play with the ends of her hair.

BANG—! The massive table in the center of the conference room collapsed, kicking up a cloud of choking dust.

The onlookers, who had been enjoying the show, now scrambled to their feet and backed away from the table.

The dust gradually settled, revealing a brand-new, gleaming RV that was a full two stories tall.

"Get on board, all of you," Lily Hart commanded, covering the rear herself.

Once the group was on the RV, Lily Hart sat in the driver’s seat and looked through the glass at Elder Shaw.

She noticed his expression was very calm, suffused with a strange, tragic heroism, as if... he was about to do something.

"Pull Elder Shaw up in a moment," Lily Hart said to Frost Shaw. Frost Shaw acknowledged her and moved to the door.

Cheryl Rivers was still dismissive. "You think bringing an RV here will change the outcome?"

As she spoke, she raised her hand, and a massive pillar of water appeared behind her. Within the pillar, the faint figure of a mermaid could be seen.

Frank O’Malley’s eyes widened. ’The Rivers Family actually... No wonder they’re so arrogant...’

He didn’t linger. Taking advantage of the chaos, he slipped away quietly. In his eyes, the woman in the RV was as good as dead.

’What a shame. She wasn’t bad looking, either.’

Lily Hart started the RV, controlled it to hover in the air, and shot over to Elder Shaw at incredible speed.

Frost Shaw reached out and pulled Elder Shaw up. The elder was still hesitant, asking worriedly, "Lily Hart, what are you planning to do?"

"Nothing much. Just going to run her over," Lily Hart said casually, her hand already on the control panel.

Meanwhile, Cheryl Rivers’s attack had taken form. Inside the vast conference room, an entire wall of water surged.

It completely blocked the floor-to-ceiling windows, looking like a terrifying, stormy sea that made one’s heart pound.

Cheryl Rivers stood before the wall of water, a triumphant smile on her lips. She swung her hand forward...

Lily Hart slammed the drive button, cranking the speed to maximum. The RV shot out like a cannonball.

The people inside the RV stumbled from the inertia, grabbing onto each other to stay upright.

Lily Hart sat firmly in the driver’s seat, watching the approaching Cheryl Rivers, who made no move to dodge.

BANG—! Cheryl Rivers was slammed into the terrifying waves of her own creation.

But the next second, with no one to control them, the waves vanished instantly. Cheryl Rivers’s body was sent flying.

Her eyes were wide, the smile still frozen on her lips, not having had time to change.

The floor-to-ceiling windows shattered on impact. The RV drove out of the building and hovered in the air.

Cheryl Rivers plummeted downward. From this height, the fall wouldn’t kill her, or even hurt her at all.

She was, after all, from The Mysterious Clan; she wouldn’t die that easily.

But Lily Hart had no intention of letting her off so easily. She piloted the RV to chase after her, intending to hit her again before she landed.

Cheryl Rivers was already bracing for impact with the ground, but she never expected to be hit by this stupid RV again. She had thought she could just put out a hand and block it, like always.

But her body was sent flying completely out of her control. ’And ridiculously, my elbow is scraped...?’

The Mysterious Clan could not kill humans, but their own strength and superpowers were terrifying, dozens of times stronger than even a Tenth-rank Superpower User.

This was the reason for their fearlessness.

’Normally, I can take down a High-level Superpower User with a mere flick of a finger. But now... why isn’t it working?’

Cheryl Rivers’s mind was perfectly clear; she could even think this much while falling through the air. She didn’t think for a second that she could get hurt; she was from The Mysterious Clan, after all—

BANG—! The RV was in front of Cheryl Rivers again.

Through the glass, Lily Hart could clearly see the mocking smile on her face.

Without a moment’s hesitation, she steered the RV and slammed it viciously into her.

The next second, she saw the look of agony and disbelief on her face. Inertia sent her arms and legs flailing forward, but her abdomen was slammed backward by the impact.

She was sent flying, crashing into a building. BOOM... The wall collapsed, sending down countless bricks and tiles.

They rained down on her, CRASHING and CLATTERING. Buried under countless bricks, Cheryl Rivers was in agony. Aching all over, she still couldn’t understand: How could a human dare to attack a member of The Mysterious Clan?
