Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode Two Thousand Four Hundred: Setuna's Measures

The theory of power of Nina and Mills led to a conference in strategic terms when it was acknowledged that Setuna and his team were an essential force for overthrowing the Eastern Empire.

For once, it was understood that there was only the strength to defeat the Eastern Empire. A line of setuna is what it takes. Instead, Setuna and the others are the ones who outperform the antagonistic forces and make a decisive difference. Only about ten people. About ten of them deserved tens or hundreds of thousands, and Nina and the others lifted up the Setunas by the time they were excessive. That's definitely how much foil needed to be put on in order to move this meeting forward promptly. That's why both Mars and Elix were convinced once and for all to back off.

Neena, Mills, and Mina uniformly praise the Setuna line, and even Sir Kwangwu Lancelot-Garland and Sir Kengwu Charlotte-Morgana agree with that opinion, so both Mars and Elikus draw their opinions in as if questioning itself has embarrassed them.

That's how we discussed the strategy, but there was a raucous discussion about it, and to be honest, Setuna had a small part of it that I couldn't follow. Firstly, Setuna has no precise idea of the total force, total force, of the Western Zaion Empire. I intend to understand the approximate number of people and to what extent and to what extent they are put in, but the question remains whether that is also accurate. If we were to talk about that number, it would also be inexorable to have our heads upset, and Setsuna had to listen to the heated arguments of the Western Imperial leadership like any other HR.

And I guess that's good.

With regard to their argument, there was no room for Setuna to crack and enter, and no opinion was asked.

Because the Setuna line, as an ally, was calculated as a guerrilla standing position.

"The line of Lord Setuna can fly around freely using the Ark. That is arguably the greatest advantage that does not even exist in the east. If you fly around the battlefields, make up for our weak parts, poke at enemy steeples, etc., you won't be able to hope for more."

Nina defined the role of the Setuna line as such.

And that role is what this major offense is all about.

Big offense.

That is the conclusion reached by the leaders gathered during the ceremony.

Now that the Western Imperial Army is gaining momentum, it is a general trend to push it out with all its power, enter Zaius, the Imperial Capital, while kicking the troops of the East, and dominate it as it moves. Of course, on each side, there was also detailed discussion on each front, with incandescent discussions flying about the barracks and supply lines, but ultimately leading to the conclusion that they will be pushed out in the whole army.

The Western Empire gained momentum.

It is true that the fact that we pushed the East Army back north and south greatly increased the will of all the Western Empire armies. And defeat in all parts of the East Army must have lowered the morale of the East Army. We couldn't possibly not take advantage of this situation, and for that we had to move as quickly as possible. Both the heightened will and the lowered morale, if time passes, will return to normal. Then you will lose your chance to win.

It is now.

Now is the only time.

Setuna and the others are cooperating and the General's generals are daunting. Now is a good time to defeat the East.

Setuna, however, could not help but have concerns about that conclusion.

So, isn't it the same as before?

Indeed, the Western Empire gained momentum. That would be true. On the northern front, not only did it break down the East Army and regain the city, but it also struck a heavy blow to the succeeding troops. Similar results have been achieved on the southern front. On the north-south front, the western army will undoubtedly be able to carry the war situation in its favour. But the East Army's power is still numerous, and if the Setunas just fly around, can't there be a battle marked by Kneewehein to infinitely less damage?

Doesn't this just increase casualties in mischief?

Of course, if we don't do this, we know we can't fight the East Army properly.

North, east and south - if you take the tactic of concentrating your forces on either side and breaking the front, your opponents are just going to do the same, which can take the form of eating each other and sticking blades in each other's throats. There's no way I can hit a beating like that. Then let's believe in the victory of the Western Empire, which now has momentum and launches a total attack with all its forces and beats its will to heat.

And Setuna and the others are joining them. There is no element to lose.

That's true, though.

"So, are you sure?

Setuna finally opened her mouth. The gaze of the leadership concentrates at once on Setuna. Even Sheila looked at Setuna with amazing eyes.

"Are you unhappy with Lord Setuna?

"I wonder if the guerrilla forces that fly around can use their original power"

"... that's not what I meant"

The Viceroy's reaction was unexpected, but he could not hide the bitterness. Impossible, such as being dissatisfied with our treatment. If you just do what you're told, there's nothing easier to do. But sometimes that doesn't convince me.

"Your Majesty, there is no West or East, all of them subjects of the Zaion Empire, you should think. It was only then that we were expected to fight for as little blood as we could. Now even if they are enemies, they will not kill them more than is necessary, who are inherently subjects of the Empire. Your thoughts should remain the same."

"... whatever. The less blood, the better."

Kneewehein has told me quietly from behind the mask. I knew there was no change in his opinion, but in fact, when I heard it, Setuna appeased.

"But there's nothing more foolish than prolonging the fight, Setsuna. The longer the battle prolongs, the more blood will flow and death will fill. Ending the battle with the East as soon as possible. There's no better way to contain the damage than that."

"What Your Majesty says is best. So I was just wondering if we should revisit this strategy of pushing the front."

"... Sounds like you have a name for yourself?

"Well, I took over this strategy."

Setsuna felt somewhat embarrassed when Niewehein gave her the name. It's not such a big deal. A slight change of perspective was something anyone could come up with.

"All you have to do is fight everywhere, as the military council suggests. That's flashy, too, the bigger it is, the better. That's all I need for the East guys to rush out like a nested bee and attack me once and for all."

"So it's no different from this strategy, is it?

"Our roles are different"

"Hmm?"

Mills gave a look of intrigue. Mars and Elix remain a strange face.

Setuna took a glimpse of Sheila and tried to do it inside, admitting that she looked unexpected. Sheila doesn't even know what Setsuna's intentions are.

"We will use our ships to storm the Empire City."

Setuna's remarks shook during the ceremony at that moment.

"Holy shit!?

"What!?

"Imperial assault...!

"I see, did you have that hand..."

Everyone was surprised and looked at Sheila with the same look.

"What we should defeat should be the imperial Mizgaris. If only we dragged Mizgaris down from the throne of the emperor, wouldn't most of the things that followed him descend to the west or be respectful?

"Sure. If Mizgaris ceases to label the Emperor, it can be said that at that moment, most of the reasons for the dispute in the West and East will vanish."

"No more reason to bleed."

"Exactly...!

Niewehein nodded as he tried to hit his hand.

"To do this, however, we must thin the protection of the imperial capital Zaius. Otherwise, a lot of blood will have to be shed to break through the hard and thick guard."

In order to keep the number of casualties of war unlimited, we need to prepare ourselves accordingly. That will be the great offense of the Western Imperial Army.

"So you're going to let the Western Imperial Army's big offensive even draw the power of Zaius' defense?

"You can't even imagine the East guys being raided by a single flight to the Imperial City. If the Western Imperial Army finds out they've put in all their power, they'll have to put in reserve as well."

Otherwise, it would be no match for maintaining a front everywhere, because it could push it to the west.

The west and east are antagonistic in their power. In other words, if one of you gives it all, if you don't respond with all your strength, it's impossible to even maintain a state of antagonism. If the information is conveyed that the West has put in all its forces, what is the matter, and the East has to respond accordingly. Because otherwise, there will be no other defeat to the west. Nature, the protection of the Empire is diminished. That would be a great help when Setuna and the others stormed the Imperial Capital.

Because you won't have to bleed in vain.

"And if we storm the defenseless imperial capital out of the sky and surrender Mizgalis, that means our victory."

"I don't think that Mizgaris would honestly follow..."

"If you don't obey, you'll have to slash it."

In response to Mills' words, Niewehein told him to serve and chill.

"You have deceived the Emperor. I'm sure you're ready for that."

He looked away.

Most of them have special feelings for Mizgaris.

But still, there seemed to be something I wondered, perhaps because Setsuna knew Neewe very well.
