Armed Summoners - Black Spears and the Brave Men of the Other World

Episode Two Thousand Four Hundred One, Mars.

The meeting became a matter of decision and opened with a strategy based on Setuna's proposal.

In other words, it was decided to make the restraint of the eastern imperial capital Zaius and the so-called emperor Mizgaris a condition of victory, and for that reason to attack eastward with all the forces of the western empire, to mobilize all the forces of the east, to make the defense of the imperial capital handy, and to go there where the Setunas would storm in the ark. The Western Imperial Army leadership would thus return to its original front and mobilize all its troops, but it needed some time now to do so.

We can't even begin the battle by simply transporting the Viceroy and the others to where they were. The Governors will then send instructions to the warring regiments everywhere and will attack the Eastern Empire territories after various preparations have been made. It should take more than half a month just to prepare for that, and the Setunas have nothing but to keep waiting for the Empire City in the meantime. If there was anything I could do, it was enough to prepare for the battle to follow, to train and drill carefully every day, and that was all that mattered.

Anyway, at the end of the meeting, Setuna was spoken to by an unexpected person.

"Lord Setuna-Kamiya, excuse me earlier"

"Yes?"

It is the Governor of the Eastern Wars Regiment, Mars-Zaion, who has spoken. He didn't immediately understand what he was apologizing for, as he seemed to have apologized for his disrespect during the meeting, but Setsuna never cared. Besides, I'm surprised at the very things he's been talking about.

"All I can say is thank you."

"Thank you?"

"That would be so. With your cooperation, the Northern Front, the Southern Front, has escaped its predicament. It was originally the governors of each battle regiment who should have been on the front lines and beaten the people of the east, but the war did not allow it. I don't want to thank you."

"Until I followed His Majesty's instructions. If you're grateful, it's up to Your Majesty to make a decision."

"That's... right. Of course, I am grateful to His Majesty."

Perhaps Mars gave a slightly subtle look because he saw a shadow of Niewehein on Setuna's face. The way he looks at Setuna, it never seemed like there was a strange feeling.

"I just don't want to thank you enough for this fight."

"Yes?"

"You didn't attack and destroy my men left behind by Zalwarn, you negotiated and you entered into a cooperative relationship."

"... Oh, you mean Colonel Leng"

"Yep. Leng-Fonefel is an excellent subordinate of mine. I don't know why he was left behind by Zalwarn... but it's good to be alive. He is sooner or later the person in charge of the pillars of our army. It's too bad to lose it."

"That's... good"

Setuna saw Mars rejoicing and relieved herself. It turns out that the Lengths were never abandoned or anything, and furthermore, they gained extraordinary trust from their immediate boss, Mars. They will necessarily be able to return to imperial territory. To do so, we must first stabilize the situation on the southern continent, but it is the work of the Setunas. The arithmetic is also attached.

After I talked to him about the Lengths, Mars asked me a few questions.

"... by the way, wasn't an armed summoner named Cyril acting along with Leng?

"What happened to Mr. Cyril? Sure, I was with Colonel Leng."

"No... if she's okay, that's fine. Really, were you with Leng"

"Yes. Mr. Cyril helped me. Good armed summoner."

"I would be very proud of myself to say that to someone like Lord Setsuna."

Mars laughed so grinningly, wishing each other well in the showdown and walking away with his proximity.

Naturally, the Governors were always surrounded by multiple proximities, both to Ericus-Zaion and Mills-Zaion, with a corresponding number of proximities, or escorts, to Illicia-Zaion and Mina-Zaion. It's a natural story if you think about them.

"What was that?

"You mean the boss of subordinate thoughts."

In response to Sheila's question, Setuna answered as such. I was worried about the armed summoner who would have been with Leng. I know you liked her a lot more, but I don't know if it's Cyril's skill as an armed summoner, his experience buying it, or a person named Cyril-McNaphan himself. Either way, what pleased him from the bottom of his heart about Cyril's safety was that he could tell from the change in his expression and how his voice bounced.

Whether or not the Imperial Prince cares about the safety of a single armed summoner, there is one more thing. No wonder a special bond existed between Mars and Cyril. It's just like Niewehein's special trust in Lancelot and Charlotte. There was no reason to question it there. Sheila probably wondered because it was strange that she had bothered to talk to me.

Her doubts soon disappeared.

Afterwards, other royal families stopped me, and I got to stand talked to again and again, or something. Elikus stared at me with a gesture, and told me that it was a living copy of Niewehein, or Mills, Mina and I talked about Binozon Canaan, and also colluded with Illysia.

Then, Niewehein called me in and gave me time to discuss it alone.

In the emperor's office, there are only two: Setuna and Niewehein. But Niewehein didn't take the mask off. If you take the mask off, it would be because you would show the part you suffered from albinism. If that part is just white stained. Still, I guess I don't want to show it to Setuna, either, than it is, and yet something like one face is up. He cares about Setsuna, too.

"I didn't think you'd come up with a strategy."

He laughed mischievously somewhere as he sat down in his chair. I just relieve myself a little when I see how easy he is like that. To Niewehein, Setsuna had a desire for him to take it easy just in front of himself.

Ex identical, I guess.

Given his hardship, I think I could cry.

"Well, I don't think Nina's strategy is too bad."

That's not a lie or anything. It's true. It seemed no mistake as a strategy per se, although it was the Setuna and the others who bore a heavy burden to dominate the battlefields while letting the Ark's forces fly from north to south as a guerrilla force. However, in that case, the battle would undoubtedly be prolonged, so it was an undertaking that a great deal of blood would flow.

"But your strategy is far sicker, and I'm sure the battle will end efficiently"

"Nina didn't come up with our operating laws because she had no choice."

"I'm not blaming Nina for anything. No one would think that if they were caught in the immediate battle, they would storm the Empire on the Ark."

"To that end, we shall impose impossibilities on the front line"

"It doesn't matter."

Niewehein quietly ran out of words.

"Instead, if I had used you guys in the guerrilla squad, there would have been more blood to shed. The less you bleed, the better. That's what you said at the meeting..."

"Your Majesty says so."

"... oh yeah. Exactly."

He smiles and nods.

"I don't want the Imperial subjects to die alone."

"To Mizgaris, too, is it"

"Oh."

Kneewehein's instant response indicated that even Mizgaris, who was supposed to be his hateful opponent, perceived him as an imperial subjects and believed him to be a subject to be protected and guided.

Is it such a nie wahein that I think the Emperor deserves it, after all, because it is a former identical being?

Setuna couldn't help but think of that during her colloquial conversation with Niewehein.
