Chapter 90. Arriving in Airo City.
Southern Continent.
Eldorath Empire.
Hessington State.
Airo International Airport.
Somewhere in the evening skies.
An airplane glided through the skies.
"This is your captain speaking. We are beginning our descent and expect to land in approximately 20 minutes. The weather at our destination is very cold and is 15 degrees. Thank you for flying with us today."
The voice of the lead pilot reverberated through the airplane.
Aiden’s eyes snapped open.
When he woke up, the couple seated next to him were on their phones.
The lady had woken up.
The moment she saw Aiden, she squealed in excitement.
Her fiance was almost tempted to roll his eyes at her. However, when he realized who the person seated across them was, he kept quiet.
"Sir, please can I have an autograph?" The lady said hesitantly.
Aiden was quite taken aback. What was he? Some sort of celebrity?
An air hostess walked up to Aiden and said to him, "Would you like to come with me to the front, sir?"
"This was my only chance at getting an autograph from Mr Vhorn. This lady had to ruin it," the lady near Aiden with her fiance, thought.
"Any reason why?" Aiden asked the air hostess politely.
"We’d like to thank you for saving the lives of everyone on the crew," she said.
"I don’t think that’s necessary." Aiden simply nodded. They were probably planning on offering him money. He had more than enough of that.
Also, he did not want to draw unnecessary attention to himself. Neither did he want to waste any time here. He had plans on visiting the warriors association branch in Airo City to update his warriors rank before he headed to Burning Sands City. There was no need to focus on trivial matters.
The air hostess was quite taken aback by his response.
However, she remained professional.
"Very well, thank you for your time sir." After that, she left.
As she was leaving, she walked gracefully, trying to highlight her assets to Aiden.
However, to her disappointment, his eyes were closed, his hoodie cap on.
"He totally forgot that I asked him for an autograph. Thanks to that damned woman," the female lady complained to her fiance.
"I’m sure Mr Vhorn has more important things to think about. He’s also not the kind who likes to be disturbed. So, let’s not disturb him," the gentleman said.
"You are right," the lady sighed.
"But I took a picture of him. We need to brag to our friends that we met him. If we just show up with no proof, how will they believe us?" she whispered into the ears of her fiance.
The gentleman sighed and shook his head.
His woman had finally lost it.

The aeroplane finally touched the ground.
The moment it did, Aiden left the airplane calmly.
"When did he leave?" The couple, including the captain, the hosts, hostesses and several passengers thought.
They wanted to meet him.
But it was too late.
Currently, Aiden was standing outside Airo International Airport.
He had ordered a cab to take him to the Warriors Association branch in the airport residential area.
The cab arrived. Aiden boarded it.
The cab passed through the roads and several villas in the locality as it eventually left the airport.
Through the windows, Aiden noticed several children playing in the snow.
Some had built snowmen. Others were also throwing snow balls at each other.
"Airo City is very lively during this period," the driver said. "Most of the academic institutions in the city are on vacation during this period. So, families and friends reunite to spend time together. I suppose sir is new to the environment?"
"Yeah. I’m actually passing through," Aiden said.
"Oh...wait.. you mean.. sir, are you by any means headed to Burning Sands City?" The driver asked.
A glint flashed through Aiden’s eyes. This driver was quite the sharp one.
"Don’t be surprised sir," the driver said. "I’ve been doing commercial vehicle business for a long time. Passengers come in different forms. Sometimes, one’s eyes should be on the road and on the seat because not every passenger is as polite and well mannered as you. So, I’ve become sharp."
Aiden nodded politely. This driver was a real talkative.
"Sir.. I don’t have any right to say this but, Burning Sands City is quite dangerous. My firstborn died there. He was a student of Airo City University. He was sent on a university mission there to rescue some civilians from some human traffickers and died there. So, you should exercise caution during your time there."
Aiden nodded. This information was quite useful.
Even a regular civilian was aware of Burning Sands City and how dangerous the place was.
This reinforced the information he had read on the city.
Burning Sands City was a dangerous and lawless place.
A glint of anticipation flashed through his eyes. All he was thinking about was the blood essence that awaited him there.
The cab eventually left the villa area. Several skyscrapers flickering with neon lights and billboards came into view. Car horns blared into the distance.
Soon, the cab pulled to a stop before the Warrior’s Association Building.
"Thanks for the ride." Aiden paid the driver.
"Sir, your change," the driver said when Aiden got out of the cab.
"Keep the change sir." Aiden nodded and walked off.
"This man must be very rich," he sighed. "Warriors are really enviable. Also, he’s one of the receptive and polite warriors I’ve had as passengers. Some of the ones I’ve encountered are haughty and arrogant, looking down on regular people like we are nothing. But...why did he look so familiar?" The driver thought. Soon, he widened his eyes.
A picture of someone he recently saw on TV overlapped with the image of the passenger who was entering the Warriors Association building.
"Aiden Vhorn of Derulo City, the Crimson Reaper. It was him??" The driver said. A chill crawled up his spine.
"I actually called him polite and well mannered? They say he’s a madman, a tactical genius and someone who is not worth offending." The driver shook his head. "To think he’d look so different in person. Apart from his good looks, he is like an everyday person you meet on the streets. It’s a good thing I didn’t offend him. I need to learn to talk less from now on."
He drove off as soon as possible with a lesson learnt.

When Aiden entered the Warriors Association building, the ground floor was quiet and peaceful.
A receptionist was seated at a counter.
He walked calmly towards the counter.
However, someone suddenly appeared in front of him from nowhere.
"Move out of my way!"
