Chapter 71. Predator.
"Vermin Guild, Hook Chamber of Commerce, Natsunalone Guild..."
Aiden sent the list of organisations to the anonymous hacker.
" I’ve received the list. It will cost 500,000 dollars," The hacker said.
Aiden quickly sent the money to him.
"I’m on it. Give me a few minutes," the man replied.
" Check their handles. It’s done," The hacker said.
Aiden checked the social media handles of the organisations. The videos had been uploaded.
" Pleasure doing business with you," Aiden said.
" Mine as well." The man ended the call.
Aiden put the phone in his pocket.
" Now that the video of the scions killing each other has been uploaded, they will definitely know that I’m behind it. The heads of these organisations are masters of political games. They sent their Scions after me and a few moments later their Scions are killing each other and there’s even a video of it.
"They will realize I’m behind this even if they won’t know how I managed to pull it off. But that’s not the focus of the plan. Now that there are videos of the scions of several organizations in the city killing each other, these organizations will lose investors. Their investors will back off from supporting them because they will be afraid that a war would break out between the organizations because the scions of these organizations killed each other, even if the organisations have no such intentions of starting a civil war. A civil war will mean loss of resources and profits. Investors won’t invest in organizations they deem in such a light.
"When this happens, these powers will be so busy trying to fix their organizations that they won’t have any choice but to postpone their revenge on me. Also, they can’t openly admit that they sent assassins after me and attack me openly because they are afraid Pamela will use that as an opportunity to take care of them.
"They will be aware that I’ve cornered them, but they won’t be making any moves against me for a while. During this period, I should take advantage of this time I’ve bought for myself to grow strong enough to take care of them."
Aiden hopped off the tree and headed deep into the rank 1 region.

Hessington State.
Derulo City.
Southern District.
Vermin Guild.
A man was pacing about in a conference room full of people in suits.
This man was Vermin, a legendary rank 2 warrior and the founder of the Vermin guild.
" Damn it," Vermin hissed. " How can a 19 year old be so terrifying? With just one move, he has cornered us on all sides. Who the hell is this Aiden Vhorn kid?"
" Sir, what if we try to openly accuse him of the act and use that as an opportunity to eliminate him openly?" Someone suggested.
Vermin turned towards the person’s direction angrily. He was almost tempted to kill the person. But he held back. The person flinched in fear. What did he do wrong? It was just a suggestion.
" Have you forgotten that Pamela Ashira has taken a liking to him? We can’t attack him openly. We will only be signing our death sentence!" Vermin said. " As for assassinations, we can’t afford to focus on that now... our investors just contacted me. They said they are withdrawing from our company because we are now a high risk investment. Fuck! This bastard. I’ll tear him to shreds. He’s behind the death of my nephew and the others. How he managed to make them kill each other, I don’t know. But... the dots connect. He even used an untraceable account to breach our security to upload the video. So we cannot resort to legal action against him, too. There’s nothing we can do against him for the time being. We need to focus on stabilizing our Organisation. When we are done with that, we focus on getting rid of Aiden Vhorn."
Murmurs of agreement spread across the place as several executives nodded.
" Shit. I need a drink," Vermin cursed.

All across Derulo City, the same situation that had happened with the Vermin Guild was repeating itself across other organizations that targeted Aiden Vhorn.
Investors were pulling out. They were afraid of clashes between the organizations since their Scions had turned on each other. The investors deemed these organizations high risk investments.
The Organisations connected the dots and realised who was behind everything.
They came to the same conclusions. Aiden Vhorn.
He had cornered them with one move.
This young man was absolutely terrifying. Their Scions were dead, their businesses were falling apart. They knew the person behind it. But they could not act because of the current circumstances.
It was as if he was mocking them.
They had to admit that this Aiden Vhorn could not be treated like a teenager.
He was a natural predator.
They made a vow that they would have their revenge on him in the future, when their situations stabilised. But for now, they had to focus on rebuilding their failed businesses and mourning the deaths of their Scions.
As for a civil war between the powers, it would not happen. Everyone’s hatred was directed towards Aiden Vhorn. They would allow him to live for a little longer.
The videos of the scions of some major organizations in Derulo City killing each other, posted by an anonymous untraceable source, spread across the city.
Only those in higher circles of influence in the city received reports of who was rumored to be behind it.
They were shocked. It seemed Aiden Vhorn was not someone these powers could easily get rid of. With just a single move, he had cornered them. What a terrifying young man.
How would the altercation between him and them play out?
The other citizens in the city thought it was quite unfortunate that these promising young warriors had killed themselves. But they didn’t know the underlying reason behind it.
Several people, however, made some guesses.
Some said they killed each other because there were personal grudges between their backgrounds. However, a number leaned towards the possibility that it had something to do with Aiden Vhorn. After all, it was rumored that these factions had wanted to kill him because he had refused to join them.
One thing was certain. The factions would not be having a civil war over the deaths of their Scions.
Each made a statement that the culprit behind the deaths of their Scions was still out there and that the culprit would be found in the future and dealt with. But no name was mentioned.
Many were confused because the scions killed each other. So what culprit had to be found?
Those who leaned towards the possibility that Aiden Vhorn was behind it, were more certain that the culprit being discussed was Aiden Vhorn.
If this was true, then it meant he had paralysed these organizations temporarily with one move. After all, there was news that because of what had happened, investors saw these powers as high risk investments and were pulling them out.
This... Aiden Vhorn was quite terrifying.
What would the final outcome between him and these powers be in the future?
