Chapter 118.Return Of The Crimson Reaper 2
Everyone across Burning Sands City was watching the stream from multiple local news handles. A crimson-eyed figure with crimson wings on his back floated outside a skyscraper in the eastern district.
The Vermin Guild.
"Kindly step out," Aiden spoke politely.
Using aerial maneuvering, Vermin and company manifested their affinities and stepped out of the guild in fear. As for the guild members inside the building, they were completely afraid. Why did their leader offend someone like this? This person was not someone to be trifled with. Because of the stupid decision of their boss, Vermin, Aiden Vhorn had now killed everyone close to them. They were also about to die.
"Mr. Vhorn... we strongly apologize for—" Vermin said weakly.
Aiden simply raised his hand.
"You started something and I’m simply finishing it. Apologies are not necessary. Transfer all your assets to the Creeds."
Vermin did as commanded. He knew the possibility of Aiden Vhorn sparing him was almost nil, but he had a glimmer of hope. Perhaps being subservient would get him spared?
"I know the rest of you are watching this as well," Aiden added, addressing the other industries that had targeted him in the past. "You are also to transfer your assets in order of priority to the Creeds, the Marcuses, the Vincents, the Moores, the Bryans, Pamela Ashira, and Cosmo Adams."
Aiden did not consider Pamela Ashira and Cosmo Adams as his loved ones, but Aiden believed in transactional fairness. It was through Cosmo Adams that he had entered Derulo City University. Pamela Ashira had also publicly shielded him from some people who wanted him dead; because of her, they could not openly kill him and had to resort to assassinations.
He knew Pamela and Cosmo did what they did for the sake of making connections with him, but they had to be rewarded for what they did. Aiden was not one to take the sacrifices people made for him for granted. As long as it was in his power and didn’t go against his principles and cultivation goal, he would reward them appropriately.
As for the Moores, the Marcuses, the Bryans, the Creeds, and the Vincents, Aiden’s relationship with them was intentional. He did not hate them for valuing him because of his potential and strength; he actually valued them more because he operated on the same logic. In the world of warriors, strength was everything.
In his opinion, a relationship built on clear reasons was better than one built on just emotions. Emotions were fickle, but reason wasn’t.
Yes, he had come to treat them as family because he was human. He was not emotionless; he was not a robot. He had come to see them as his loved ones purely because their ideals matched his own, and he saw Asmodeus, Luke, Seraphina, Candice, and Desmonda going a long way with him together. They were loyal people. This was why he had decided to appreciate them. This was why he was ordering the industries that wanted him dead to transfer their assets to them.
*****
In the Creed Estate, everyone looked at Desmonda with shock.
She simply nodded warmly.
"Apart from telling me he wanted to get rid of Vermin Guild and the others, he also told me about making them send their assets to you guys."
"This guy really knows how to surprise people out of the blue," Asmodeus said.
Everyone nodded. They were understanding Aiden better with each passing day. When it came to those he chose to love and treat like family, he did not hold back when it came to being generous to them. They were glad they had made the right choice to align themselves with him.

Pamela Ashira and Cosmo Adams smiled.
"Although he knows we have a transactional relationship, he is not one to take the investments of others and sacrifices made for him for granted, as long as it does not go against his principles," Cosmo said.
"Mmm. Looks like we are billionaires from now on," Pamela said.
"Well technically, you are a billionaire already," Cosmo smiled.
"Not really. That’s my old man’s money," Pamela shrugged and stuck her tongue out to tease him.
"Oh... yeah," Cosmo chuckled.
****
The whole city was in an uproar about what was happening. Aiden Vhorn was commanding all the guilds that had offended him to transfer their assets to those on his side.
Was he going to spare them after killing their loved ones? Certainly not. This meant that he was robbing them of everything they had left before he killed them. And the worst part for his enemies was that they could do nothing about it. Their lives were in his hands. Aiden Vhorn could kill them at any time.
Aiden was still floating before the Vermin Guild executives, but his vision was spread across the eastern district. He could see every operation happening across every guild and every conglomerate in the eastern district that had targeted him in the past. Even though the crimson blades that had been following them had just disappeared, they knew Aiden Vhorn could kill them at any time, so they did not dare to fool around.
Very soon, they transferred all their assets to the parties he had instructed them to send the assets to.
The moment they finished, Aiden nodded.
"Alright." Several blobs of blood appeared before him and turned into hundreds of floating crimson daggers.
The crimson daggers cut through the skies. They were so fast that they looked like crimson phantoms. Across the eastern district of Derulo City, several people stared at the crimson trails of light traveling through the skies.
The first group to fall was the Vermin Guild.
Puchi...
The crimson daggers cut through Vernon’s skull, sliced through his brain, and appeared at the back of his head. A large hole appeared in his head. He had lifeless, hopeless, and regretful eyes, as if he had regretted offending Aiden Vhorn. His corpse fell from the sky, his blood raining across the skies.
Every other high-ranking executive of the Vermin Guild, and every regular member of the Vermin Guild, had similar expressions of fear as they met the same fate as their guild leader.
Puchi... puchi... puchi...
The crimson daggers spared no one. Wherever they passed, a hole appeared in the head of someone, blood rained, and dull thuds resounded as corpses fell. Hundreds of Vermin Guild members died.
The stream panned across the eastern district. The other guilds and conglomerates met the same fate.
The crimson daggers moved with precise, effortless precision that chilled the viewers. They knew where each of Aiden Vhorn’s enemies was in the eastern district. Everyone knew Aiden Vhorn was controlling them—after all, he had formed them with his affinity. It was as if Aiden Vhorn was omnipresent, like he could see everything happening across the district.
How terrifying could one person be?
Screams of death and the sounds of sharp objects piercing through flesh resounded across the eastern district. Some tried to flee in fear as their survival instincts kicked in, but their efforts were futile.
The stream showed the leader of the Adamantine Guild trying to flee through an aircraft. The next moment, a crimson dagger sliced through his skull and that of the pilot.
The Valerie Conglomerate head tried to use aerial maneuvering to flee. A crimson dagger arced through the sky and sliced through her neck. Her head somersaulted into the skies. Blood splintered across the place. Her headless corpse fell to the ground, and her head rolled to a stop. She had an expression of shock and regret on her face.
There were many instances of some trying to flee, but it was futile. They couldn’t. The Crimson Reaper seemed to be everywhere...
Bluefire Guild. Erased.
Tera Guild. Erased.
Vermin Guild. Erased.
Hashfire Conglomerate. Erased.
Valerie Conglomerate. Erased.
Adamantine Guild. Erased.
Tooker Conglomerate. Erased.
Thousands of people fell. Aiden Vhorn spared no one. He didn’t leave any loose ends.
Only the buildings of the industry heads remained, but no humans were left alive. Drones captured blood and corpses piled up in the buildings and around them. The sight left many with chills crawling up their spines.
Soon, the crimson daggers returned to him, turned into blobs of blood, and disappeared into him. Aiden simply closed his eyes for a moment and used his 3-kilometer range of absorbing blood essence to absorb the blood essence of all the corpses of the people he had killed spread across the district. He opened his eyes a moment later. He theorised his power was still nowhere near reaching the level of a beginner rank 3, but he was stronger than before.
Everyone watching the stream stared at the crimson-eyed figure with crimson wings floating in front of the building which used to be the Vermin Guild building. His face was calm, his eyes casual. He flapped his crimson wings and bolted off with speed he did not have before, as if he had never been there.
A year ago, no one would have thought Aiden Vhorn would become this terrifying. When he had an altercation with these powers, many had doubts he would remain alive for long. But the outcome was something they could have never envisioned.
Now, this young man was known throughout the Empire as the Crimson Reaper—a terrifying legendary rank 2 warrior with achievements that could put many geniuses to shame. Today’s incident was not on the level of the Massacre of Burning Sands, where he had destroyed a whole city of criminals, but today’s incident had cemented his reputation as a ruthless person who didn’t hesitate to end those who targeted him. What made him more terrifying and crazy was that if you came after him, he would not just come for you, but he would eliminate everyone you cared about too, without leaving behind any loose ends.
The stream cut. The cameras panned out.
The anchors were silent.
The residents of Derulo City were quiet, including those of Derulo City University.
How terrifying will this person be in a few years, if he does not meet his end unfortunately during his time in the military and to the rumored planned assassinations of some of the powers from across the empire whose offers he rejected?
