Ascension Of The Blood Supreme

Chapter 112.Slaughter.

The morning sky had turned crimson.

Everyone including the four crime lords were terrified. What the hell was that in the sky?

What sort of monster was this fellow? The crimson sword gleamed with otherworldly sharpness and malevolence.

It had blotted out the sky completely.

If that thing touched them... they would all die...

"Attack with everything you’ve got!"

"We need to kill him before he launches the attack!"

"Shit... we have to go all out!"

The four crime Lords shouted.

Several hallows of light appeared around Crime Lord Winston. The haloes of light converged into the shape of a large golden bird.

Habakuk waved his hand. Flames appeared around him and converged into the shape of a large leopard.

A glint flashed through Arabella’s eyes. Lightning streaked across the place. Azure lights blanketed the skies. The lightning converged into a very large lightning rod.

Sokolovia flicked her sleeve. Large amounts of water droplets formed in front of her. The flood in the city streamed towards and merged with the water droplets that formed in front of her. The water droplets merged together and turned into the shape of an azure looking dolphin.

The attacks were nothing to scoff at.

The attacks of the four crime Lords and everyone shot towards the tiny future in the sky who had turned the sky crimson with his colossal crimson sword.

The army of criminals were completely dumbfounded. Each of these attacks could slaughter them all in one fell swoop.

These were the signature attacks of the crime lords after all.

Coupled with the attacks of everyone, they were certain that not even the crimson reaper could survive this.

"Too slow," Aiden thought. Compared to the kraken, the Kunpeng, and their attacks, these attacks were simply too slow.

It was as if Aiden could see all their attacks in slow motion.

He took a step forward in the sky, flapping his crimson wings.

Each step he took caused the attacks hurled at him to touch air.

"He’s too fast. Launch everything at him!"

The attackers saw the Red Reaper had turned into a flickering phantom, evading the attacks hurtled towards him with extreme ease.

It was as if he was phasing through the attacks. But the reality was different. He was just extremely fast that it was as if he was phasing through the attacks.

The dolphin shaped water attack.

The golden bird shaped light attack.

The large lightning rod.

The leopard shaped flame attack.

The attacks of all the warriors.

Met air.

"How is this possible?" A crime lord shouted.

"He’s too strong!" Another bellowed.

But they didn’t give up. Their attacks arced unnaturally through the air, spun and shot back to the Red Death.

Then, their worst fears came to pass.

The crimson sword descended. A suffocating pressure descended on everyone. It was as if shadows had been cast on their hearts.

The large crimson sword swept through all the attacks and slashed through them, obliterating them into nothing.

"Retreat!" A crime lord shouted.

They had miscalculated.

To think he was this strong?

How could they have miscalculated?

How could such a monster exist?

Everyone used aerial maneuvering to flee.

Or so they thought.

The large crimson sword descended. It was so fast that in a moment, it was slicing through flesh.

Thousands of heads rolled. Body parts and blood flew apart. Some did not even register the pain of dying. Their deaths were so quick that their brains could not even register it.

No one was spared. From crime lord to gang leader. From gang leader to individual warrior.

At the same time, buildings crumbled as collateral damage. The crimson sword sliced through everything.

Very soon, the western district was turned into a pile of rubble and tens of thousands of corpses.

Blood flowed ceaselessly as the thick scent of blood lingered in the air.

No affinity attacks. No screams. No lives.

Only blood, rubble, corpses and a brown haired young man with crimson eyes and crimson wings floating in the sky remained.

Aiden closed his eyes. His range of absorbing blood essence was currently at three kilometers. Roughly the size of a city district.

The blood essence within all the bodies spread across the district loosened and flowed into him.

Aiden flew towards the Eastern district. He absorbed the blood essence of those who had died before the criminals gathered to kill him.

From there, he moved to the northern district and repeated the same action.

Then, he went to the southern district and absorbed the blood essence of the corpses there too.

"I suppose it will take a very long time before I become a beginner rank 3 warrior. If absorbing the blood essence of all these corpses in the city did not warrant a breakthrough, then it means I have a long way to go. But that’s not a problem. This is the path I’ve chosen, I will patiently build my strength step by step," Aiden thought.

After that, he checked the notification on his watch, indicating that he had completed the mission and had been awarded 1 million contribution points.

"Desmonda and the others must be worried. I should contact them and let them know I’m fine. No, I should surprise them in person. The National Warriors Universities Competition should be starting next month. That means they are still on campus." Aiden flapped his crimson wings and disappeared from the sky of the city.

Little did he know that what he had just done would cause an uproar across the empire he did not anticipate!!

Southern Continent.

Eldorath Empire.

Hessington State.

Vancouver City.

Warriors Association HQ.

In a luxurious office in a very large skyscraper.

A woman was currently seated behind a desk, dealing with a lot of paperwork.

"I should really get a secretary," she sighed.

She was a legendary rank 3 warrior, and the Warriors Association Head in all of Hessington State. Her influence in the State and the empire could not be understated.

Yet, here she was, reduced to paperwork, when she could be on a vacation somewhere, chilling with her husband and children.

She made a decision to get a secretary before the month ended. Previously, she had a secretary, but the bastard had the gall to ask her out. She fired him and decided not to hire a secretary again. However, considering her current situation, she had to admit that she was missing out on a lot of good stuff because of this useless paperwork.

"A female secretary will be better," She muttered.

Suddenly, someone barged into her office.

It was a man in spectacles.

"Mrs Vandaport, you need to see this!"

The man had a tablet in his hand.

She did not mind that he had barged into her office, as long as he had a good reason for what he did.

"What is it?" She asked curiously. Denice was not one to act like this.

"Our satellites accidentally picked up something from Burning Sands City," Denice replied with fear and shock on his face.

"Burning Sands? One of those criminal cities we’ve abandoned?" She replied.

Those crime infested cities were not worth the time of the Global Warriors Association. Chaotic beast tides and gate phenomenons naturally dealt with the criminals there.

What was so special about a city full of deranged criminals left for dead?

"Yes. We just contacted Derulo City University for details. Apparently, a student called Aiden Vhorn took on a mission there a year ago to shut down the crime syndicates. But... what he achieved... see for yourself..." Denice said.

Vandaport looked at the video.

Expressions ranging from shock and puzzlement appeared on her face. Soon, she chuckled absurdly.

"The Crimson Reaper. So this young man was in Burning Sands all along?? After making waves in Hessington State last year, he disappeared. He was in Burning Sands?

"To think he became a legendary rank 2 warrior in the span of just one year, and also caused a catastrophe of such proportions. It seems the empire will not be silent from now on. This achievement of this young man cannot be hidden. Post it on Hessington state’s Warriors Association HQ official social media platform."

"Yes ma’am," Denice said. "That’s not all ma’am. I took some time to go back a bit and watched the satellite video of his activity in the city before the massacre he just caused. He cleared a rank 2 gate alone! I’m sure he entered it as at most the level of a legendary rank 1 warrior?"

"What??" Vandaport screamed. For the first time in her long life, she lost her cool.

She found this extremely absurd.

"Go back," she ordered. Denice navigated the video as she requested.

She watched the part of the broadcast where Aiden Vhorn came out of the rank 2 gate, alongside his interaction with the crime lords, all the way to when he killed everyone in the city after they ganged up on him.

"Go back... I want to watch more," Vandeport ordered.

"Unfortunately, due to frequency errors, the rest of the satellite feed during his time in the city is unavailable," Denice sighed.

"That’s quite unfortunate," Vandeport said. "But this feed from when he came out of the gate to when he killed everyone in the city is enough. Post it as I’ve ordered. However, contact the higher ups of Derulo City University and let them know about it. As for Aiden Vhorn, he’s an interesting young man. I was planning on meeting him, but a young man like that has to walk his own path and carve his own future. Meeting him now will push all his enemies away and limit his potential. However, I hope I meet him face to face one day when he’s strong enough to sit in the same room as me."

Denice nodded.

"If I may ask ma’am, why do you want me to post the video?" He asked.

"Hmmmm," Vandeport said. "The empire has become too boring lately. The younger generation is relaxing. The appearance of someone like Aiden Vhorn will put pressure on the younger generation."

Denice sighed. These old foxes were all crazy people with eccentric personalities. She simply wanted to brag to the other warriors association HQ heads in the other states that someone like Aiden Vhorn had appeared in the Hessington State. But she was spouting bullshit about putting pressure on the younger generation.

"Alright ma’am," Denice said. He simply nodded and left the room to execute the orders of his boss, leaving the woman to her paperwork.
