Chapter 75. Troublemaker.
Five instructors appeared before the group.
Pamela Ashira and Cosmo Adams were part of them.
They scanned the students.
Cosmo Adams looked at Aiden for a moment.
This young man had become the talk of town in such a short time. He had never expected Aiden Vhorn’s growth and achievements to be this terrifying.
He nodded towards Aiden.
Aiden nodded back politely.
Pamela Ashira also smiled at him for a moment before her gaze returned to normal.
"Good morning, everyone. We are behind time. This is why the information you received had details of the briefing," Cosmo said. "Try to stay alive and alert in the pocket world. A pocket world is a lawless place, so take care of yourselves. Just because we are embarking on a mission to assist Derulo City University to close a gate does not mean we should try to act like good Samaritans. Prioritize your safety at all costs. You already know the rewards for completing the mission. So no need to talk about that. Let’s move out."
"Yes, sir!"
The students replied. The instructors took the lead and entered the private jet.
The students followed.
Aiden and company sat at a seat in the back.
For some reason, Asmodeus, Luke, Candice, and Seraphina decided not to sit close to Aiden. They deliberately allowed Desmonda to sit close to Aiden.
Throughout the journey, Desmonda and Aiden were quiet on their phones.
The four looked at them and sighed. These two were very dense. The plan to get them to spend more time together was not working. Sigh...
"We will have to leave things to them," Asmodeus sent a text message to everyone else except Aiden and Desmonda.
"I agree. These two are the smartest among us, but I don’t know why they are being like this when it comes to getting together. It’s only a matter of time. Desmonda has to realize how she feels about him, and Aiden has to naturally come to that place where he realizes it on his own and also starts to see her as more than a friend," Seraphina texted.
"Mm... let’s let them be. Look at them. They look so perfect together," Candice texted.
"They do. Has Aiden told any of you what he intends to do to Henrich Fang?" Candice texted.
"Naaa. I’m not sure even First Lady Desmonda over there knows. We will see it for ourselves when he pulls it off anyway," Luke replied.
"Yeah. I’m trying to get some sleep. It will definitely be hectic in the pocket world. The mind needs to rest," Asmodeus texted.
"Good idea." The trio replied and also decided to get some rest before they arrived in Harland City.
Meanwhile, Aiden and Desmonda were on their phones in comfortable silence. Aiden was playing a game and Desmonda was reading an online novel.
"Oh right... the inhibition removal poison," Desmonda said.
She took a small vial containing some liquid out of her storage bag and handed it over to Aiden.
"Thanks, Desmonda," Aiden nodded.
"You’re welcome," she replied. "What are you doing?"
"Oh, gaming as usual," Aiden replied. "You?"
"Catching up on the fifth volume of The Nexus Chronicles," Desmonda said.
"Oh... that’s cool," Aiden replied, eyes still on his phone. "I’m done with it. Need spoilers?"
"You... you are so mean..." Desmonda pouted.
"Hehe. Alright, alright. Read your novel," Aiden said.
"What a troublemaker," Desmonda said. She shook her head and returned to reading her novel.

Southern Continent.
Eldorath Empire.
Hessington State.
Harland City.
Western District.
Several drones moved across the place, broadcasting the situation to citizens of Harland City. The civilians of the Western District had been completely evacuated.
Several warriors could be seen unleashing affinity attacks towards several rank 1 and rank 2 chaotic beasts spilling out of a gate.
The environment was turning very warm. The ice in the vicinity had already melted.
"Shit... if this continues, everything in the western district will be burnt by this hot temperature!" A student of Harland Metropolitan University said as he launched a fireball towards a goblin.
The goblin burnt and turned into ashes.
"I know," another person replied as they arced through the air and brought a spear vertically down, sweeping it through a horde of gigantic, snail-looking creatures. "The expedition team from Derulo City University and Cosmere City University are yet to arrive. Let’s hold on for a while. The instructors and expedition team from our university are also headed here at the moment. Let’s do our best to hold on."
"Roger. Seriously, where are the legendary rank 2 warriors from the Warriors Association?"
"They are taking care of things at the edge of the district. Several creatures from the gate flew there. We can only rely on ourselves."
"But why are those rank 3 warriors not acting?"
"They will only step in if the gate is a rank 3 gate. Most of them are higher-ups in various organizations and have busy schedules. If the threat does not affect their territory, they will hardly intervene if it’s not a rank 3 threat. Stop complaining and fight!"
"Shit! 500 advanced rank 2 goblins. We are screwed. Retreat!"
They didn’t want to die.
Suddenly, a large water sword that blotted out the skies sliced through the air.
It sliced through the 500 advanced rank 2 goblins.
The goblins screamed as the sword sliced through them and tore them into smithereens. The water sword turned into fragments and dissipated.
After that, a group of 35 warriors appeared.
The place turned silent as the student warriors from Harland Metropolitan University looked at them with reverence.
"Nice work, Henrich," an instructor nodded to a black-haired fellow with black eyes in a battlesuit.
"Thanks, Instructor," Henrich replied. This is what he liked—being recognized for his strength.
"Secure the area as we wait for the team from Derulo City University and Cosmere City University," another instructor said.
She looked at the students who were securing the place before they arrived.
They were wounded.
"You’ve done a nice job. Rest for a while. Marvia, heal them."
Marvia, a beginner rank 2 warrior with the light affinity, nodded.
She proceeded and started to heal the injured warriors as the rest of the students among the expedition team, consisting of the remainder of the 15 rank 1 and 15 rank 2 warriors, started killing the rest of the chaotic beasts in the vicinity.
*So strong, especially the student council president, Henrich Fang. Apart from the fact that he was an asshole to women most of the time, he was a genius on the battlefield, the warriors being healed thought.
The instructors were on standby. Most of the work in the rank 2 pocket world will be done by them. They had to preserve their energy.
Soon, two groups of people appeared in the air from two private jets from two opposite directions.
The private jets disappeared as the two groups headed down towards the entrance of the gate.
Each of the two groups were 35 in number.
Each group consisted of 5 legendary rank 2 instructors. The remainder were 15 rank 2 warriors below the expert rank, and 15 rank 1 warriors spread between the intermediate and legendary rank.
"The teams from Derulo City University and Cosmere City University have arrived. Ceasefire and gather around," the lead instructor of the expedition team from Harland Metropolitan University spoke through her comm to the Harland Metropolitan students who were part of the expedition.
They stopped fighting chaotic beasts and returned to the entrance of the gate.
