Ashes and Kingdoms

2-1. Mage in Black

Chapter Two

"Nella told me she was a magician."

Taz responded to the wasting odor to Senato, who whispered as he walked down the hallway.

"Mage, no? Isn't that the mistake of a petenmaster?"

"I don't think there's a fake magician who can fool your grandfather. It's real, I'm sure."

"If so, isn't it a bad idea?" Taz gets anxious. "It's hard to kick this hall out because it's shady because of it. The other guy... I mean, it's real."

"Are you scared?

And Shizuru and Senato asked, and Taz barely roared. I'm not childish enough to look good if I'm not even afraid of what I should be afraid of, but I'm not an adult enough to think I don't want to show fear in front of my children. Halfway through the position, Taz answered in an ambiguous tone.

"I haven't even seen him yet, so you know if he's scared. I just don't like this. I don't know what kind of world you can't touch with your hands anymore."

"That sounds like Taz."

Senato laughed small. For a moment I wondered if Taz had been mocked, but that's not what he said. Senato looked up at him rather reluctantly before walking forward again.

Through a line of dim, dusty storage rooms and close to the magician's residence. Does it seem darker and darker because the sun doesn't actually plug in, or because of preconceived notions?

Slightly, they found a room half underground where they were taught. I don't mind Taz reaching out and hesitating, Senato opens the door without even knocking.

To the visitation of the intruder, the lord of the room looked back and gave me a harsh obsession.

"Who?"

A frozen voice nails the two legs to the outside of the laying. But Senato shook his courage and took a big step.

"That way, who is it? This is my house."

Speak with dignity, arm around and look indoors. Many of the frigid collectibles, although previously scaring Fernena, were not as powerful against Senato.

"That sounds like a lot of interesting stuff. Of course, it must belong to my house."

"... This is not a playground. We keep precious items from our family heirlooms."

Orgin protests in a grumpy manner. Senato glanced at the magician once, with his golden, sliced grey eyes.

"It's ungrateful to use those precious things to harm the master of the museum."

"It's a vice of women and children to say things in a boring imagination."

Responding with a fed up voice, Orgin waves just to get out. There is nothing frightening about Senato's words. Senato bites his lips and stands up. Taz looked at this blurry, but asked as he remembered.

"Who hired you and how long have you been here?

…………

Orgin gives me a neglected glance just because I don't have the in-laws to answer outsiders. But when he realized Senato was waiting for an answer, he replied briefly at the very least.

"By the life of the First Lady."

"Lies."

Senato decides immediately. But Orgin didn't even flatter his shoulders, ignoring them, and headed to his desk.

Senato rattled his fingertips harshly and gave up working out this strategy and went straight into it.

"What if I told you to get out of here?

"You have no obligation to obey"

You have no authority whatsoever, it was a trumpeting tone. Blood rises on Senato's cheek. Taz hastily clasped his hand and whispered, Let's get back out.

As he pushes the reluctant Senato out of the room, Taz throws a nasty apology for "disturbing you" over his shoulder. Of course not. Oh, man. Taz bent his mouth, shivering and dispersing - and, uh, leaned his neck.

"I'm so obsessed, what are you looking into?

It was half solitary. But surprisingly, the answer came back to this.

"the power of the lost past."

It was a faint voice like dry paper, but certainly there, there was a sound of hot eagerness.

Senato didn't care because Taz pulled back so easily, but he understood that there were different reasons for each other's frustration. One child and an outsider can hardly even take the magician out of the room for half a step.

"He's a big liar, an evil sorcerer, and I can't believe he can do anything!

Senato roared and kicked the wall. Taz looks up at the ceiling in the hallway and sighs.

"Well, sure, he can agree that things are so suspicious, and that that room would be the source of shadow covering this mansion. But whether you're a liar or not..."

"I'm a liar. The old lady ahead, that means my grandmother. If he had been around for such a long time, it couldn't have been me or my mother. We have to get him out of here somehow. Your grandfather returned before I went to the Imperial City."

With anger and haste, Senato must have chewed his little lips. Taz strokes his head to comfort him.

"At least I hope your dad's on your side."

And, as if he had heard the statement, a servant ran from the goer. As they were closing their eyes, the servant let them breathe and tell them.

"Master Rufus is back! Come on, welcome."

Without waiting for the servant to finish, Senato was rushing out like he had been played. It's so impetuous that Taz is distracted. By the time he rushed after him, his little back was no longer visible.

As Taz reached the entrance hall, Senato was cheering and rushing over to his father.

"Father!"

Faster than he jumped, Rufus' successful arms grabbed his son. Hugged up like a young child, Senato quickly clung firmly to his father's neck, although he looked embarrassed for a moment.

Rufus said nothing, hugging Senato hard and burying his face in soft honey-colored hair. After doing so for a while, he mouthed one down Senato's cheek and took care of his obnoxious face. Most of all, moisturizing the eyes with a red face was not something of majesty.

Then with Fernena, he finished a hug so hot that the outfield turned a blind eye, and then Rufus finally took off his cloak filled with the dust of the journey. By the time the servant had taken care of her beautifully and surrounded the fire bowl in the living room and everyone had settled down, Rufus had become completely Lord.

"I misjudged you, Senato. Looks like you've been through about ten years of adult experience in the past year."

That's all Rufus said and didn't ask for details. I narrow my eyes emotionally just to say that the figure in front of me now tells the story of everything. Senato dropped his gaze in a slightly lit manner on the boulder, but immediately cut it out in a straight face.

"I almost saw this hall differently, too. In your mother's and Nella's stories, you think a suspicious sorcerer seems to be the cause? I've just seen it, too, but I don't think it's a good idea to keep him in the hall."

"... Hmm"

Rufus leaks a strange voice, irresponsible or unresponsible. To the reaction, Senato became anxious and overlapped the words. Speaking in a boring imagination, Orgin's earlier dialogue crossed the back of his brain.

"It may sound daunting, but I met Dragon Hou in the Great Forest. There are still, indeed, the powers of the gods and the powers of sorcery in this world. You can't go to the Imperial Capital without your mother."

"I don't know what it's like to be drafted, but my father-in-law is watching me. There is no proof left that he is harmless to us, and he cannot be banished. Of course, you have to hit some kind of hand..."

Senato could not hide his disappointment in Rufus, who became a difficult face. To the obvious senato attitude, my parents are all aligned and I feel awkward about it.

And so, Taz opened his mouth, who had become a bystander at the first referral.

"For now, if it's a way to get away from your wife, it's fine."

"Did you come up with something?

Senato eats up as soon as possible. Rufus was a little more cautious. Maybe I still can't put my faith in someone else I don't know who's benefactor to my son. Encourage ahead with complications.

Taz stared at the three of them and wandered calmly, but continued to talk to them to complain that he had to have Rufus on his side anyway.

"I saw a magician earlier, too. I agree that you're not an easy person to get rid of. However, my enthusiasm for witchcraft… or my obsession was, let's be very strong. So if I give you better terms than being here, you don't have to force me out, you might get me out of here."

"What are the terms of that?

Rufus asks. Taz glanced at Senato, who had embarked on him, and replied hesitantly.

"Take me to the Imperial Capital."

"What...?

Senato opens his eyes and becomes a look of confusion. Rufus and Fernena frowned.

After an unscented reaction, Taz scratched his head a bit.

"This is it, I know there's a problem. I just thought, Seth... if Senato wants to do something about the sorcerer with his wife first, he might have some of these hands. I'm sure there will be a lot more relics in the Imperial Capital than there are here... if we make him the next emperor's magician, we can get away from here anyway."

"But isn't that more dangerous?"

Rufus flashed his face. If that sorcerer is evil, he cannot imitate it to unleash it on the heart of the Misumi Empire.

Taz clapped his neck when he said he knew there was a problem.

"Perhaps. But for now, your wife will be safe, and Senato can safely go to the Imperial Capital. There's a lot of great guys over there, so if that magician was really dangerous, you could do something about it, like punch him in jail, or something. And now there's Dragon Marquis over there."

It's suspicious if it's true, and I don't know what I can do.

Taz crushed inside, but Rufus' reaction was unexpected. Suddenly, I was relieved of the tension when I kept getting wrinkles between my eyebrows. When Taz blinked pompously, Rufus was almost smiling.

"Oh, you did. If he's here, I can't do anything wrong with a magician. The Imperial City will be safe."

Even though he didn't seem to take it personally until just now, he just nods in full agreement. Taz was distracted and exchanged eyes with Senato.

"Did your father see you immediately with Dragon Hou? What was he like?

Senato asks, and Taz remembers that, yes, he did, and awaits a reply. Rufus had a slight taste for the two serious ones,

"He was an honest young man"

I answered that first. Then he sees that the two of them are not satisfied at all, and explains it as he thinks Hmm.

"You looked like a Northerner, with dark hair and blue eyes. Tenryu... that is utterly, utterly indescribable. of giant wings shining white...... although the last time I saw her she looked like a girl. But I felt mighty powerful. That dragon and dragon marquis can forgive the existence of injustice and evil."

"Um," Taz embarked on himself impatiently. "Was the dragon marquis about twenty years old? The body is thinner, and the face feels sharp. - Yes, when I saw you before, there was a scar on your left cheek."

"You know him?

Rufus rounds his eyes to surprise. Taz's eyes opened bigger.

"Really!? It's really him!

Senato also smiles at Taz, who raised his voice of joy.

"Wow, I can't believe I was really Taz's friend! Awesome!"

"Oh, good, he was safe!

Rufus was pompous in front of the two excited with his hands slapped.

Taz bowed her head shyly as she calmed down after a while.

"I'm sorry, I'm embarrassed. Phineas is my childhood friend. I was worried... he's safe, isn't he? Good for you."

"Childhood tame? You?... Sure, he said he wasn't born a nobleman"

Rufus is still confused and confirms it in one incredible way. Taz nodded without worrying.

"I grew up in the same orphanage as him. So, he was picked up by Mr. Oandus from the miller."

"With that said, was that the name..."

It reminds me of a man with a missing finger on his right hand, who takes on the common service of the troops. Rufus felt complicated about whether that was his adoptive father.

I struggle without being able to swallow immediately the fact that that dragon marquis is a powder shop. There was no noble elegance, but by no means nasty, he was a grand and courteous young man. I didn't know it was childhood tampering with this... crude young man in front of me.

I don't mind Rufus, who has a complicated face, Taz and Senato were moving forward with future consultations.

"Taz, come with me. Even if Dragon Marquis went to the Imperial Capital with the Emperor, if he was with me, he could go see him."

"Well, that's generous. So, instead, you tell me to keep an eye on your grandfather."

"You don't have to worry. I'll take turns. Or should I cry after my royal palace gatekeeper kicks me back?

When he saw Senato, who broke down completely and exchanged shattered words, Rufus looked perplexed. - Maybe it would be better for my son to separate himself from this young man before the magician, etc.
