Shen Yi said, "Yeah, she cried. Not because she was scared, but because she was worried about you. Even after we told her you were fine, Mom had to console her for a long time. We finally promised that we’d come pick you up from the hospital first thing in the morning. Only then did she settle down and hurry off to bed, worried she wouldn’t wake up in time."
A small smile touched Qin Jiao’s lips. She pulled Shen Yi over to eat dumplings with her and said, "Your sister is so adorable."
"Yeah, and you’ve said my cousin, Xiao Sun Yu, is cute before. But I think our child will definitely be the cutest!"
Qin Jiao was a little speechless.
But she could tell that Shen Yi was genuinely happy.
She said, "Do you like kids that much?"

Little Gu Duo was waiting at the entrance, standing at attention in a pretty little woolen dress. She had wanted to go right into the hospital, but Qin Jiao and Shen Yi were already processing the discharge papers.

"Much better." Qin Jiao reached out and gave the little girl a hug.
The little girl smiled sweetly.
