Chapter 336: Hated by the Cub Again
Yu An once again experienced what a man who’d been pent-up for a long time was like. And Lan Yin was doubly so.
His two-meter-long fish tail couldn’t even fit on the bed. Yu An was pinned on top of it, the hard scales digging into her painfully.
"Lan Yin..."
Her voice was choked with sobs, but her tears didn’t soften Lan Yin’s heart. Instead, he only became more excessive.
"There, there. Didn’t you like this before? You even said... you said you wanted to use my tail as a slide."
Lan Yin chuckled. "Come on. You can play all you want tonight."
’I’m done playing!’
’Who could possibly stand this?!’
Yu An was about to lose her mind, but every time she tried to escape, his tail would wrap around her ankle and drag her back.
The beautiful fishtail was incredibly agile—at least when it came to pulling her back, its movements were practiced and precise.
At the peak of their passion, teardrops slid down her face, turning into round, lustrous pink pearls as they hit the floor.
"That’s enough... It’s enough, isn’t it..."
A palm-sized bowl was filled to the brim. Yu An was gasping for breath, but the man’s movements still didn’t stop.
"Not enough," Lan Yin said, embracing her from behind. "An’an, one more time. It’s almost full..."
The whole night, Yu An was like a salted fish being flipped over and dried out, right up until the crack of dawn.
She didn’t have a shred of strength left. Lan Yin held her in his arms, helping her drink water to rehydrate.
Yu An didn’t even have the strength to punch him. In response to her furious glare, however, Lan Yin was quite cooperative.
He took her limp hand and patted his own face with it, not too lightly and not too hard.
"Is this better? An’an, have you vented your anger?"
Yu An shot him a glare. She took a moment to recover before speaking. "I’m going to sleep. For the whole day."
"Okay," Lan Yin agreed. "We’ll rest together. I’ll stay with you all day, how about that?"
"No," Yu An said with a smile. "What I mean is, according to the Zaizais’ schedule, I’m supposed to spend the day with Xiao Yu."
"As I recall, Xiao Yu only agreed to give you the evening."
So...
Yu An found a comfortable position, then pulled the soundly sleeping Xiao Yu out of her dimensional space. She tucked him into the blankets, placing him between herself and Lan Yin.
"I’m going to sleep all day anyway. When Xiao Yu wakes up, you can explain it to him yourself. Oh, and be careful your Zaizai doesn’t disown you as his Beast Father."
"We’re short on a lot of things in this family, but Beast Fathers aren’t one of them."
Besides Lan Yin, there were five other Beast Fathers for Xiao Yu to choose from.
Lan Yin: "..."
He had a bad feeling about this.
Just as he feared, after a couple of hours of restless sleep, Xiao Yu woke up.
He groggily sat up, rubbed his eyes, and the first thing he saw was his Female Mother and Beast Father sleeping beside him.
The little one yawned, planted a kiss on Yu An’s cheek, and then woke his Beast Father.
"Beast Father," Xiao Yu whispered, "it’s morning. Time to get up."
He could already hear his brothers’ voices. They were outside training.
Knowing there was no escape, Lan Yin resignedly opened his eyes.
"Xiao Yu, should we wake your Female Mother?"
"No," Xiao Yu said, shaking his head. "Let Female Mother keep sleeping. She’ll wake up on her own in about an hour. I’m going outside to train."
But an hour later, there was still no sound from Yu An’s room. After waiting another hour, Xiao Yu couldn’t resist going to wake her.
But no matter how he called, she wouldn’t wake up. Xiao Yu started to worry, thinking Yu An was sick.
Hearing him, Yu An groggily ruffled his hair. "Good boy, Xiao Yu. Let Female Mother sleep a little longer..."
She fell back asleep before she could even finish her sentence.
The little guy looked completely at a loss. He went out of the room to ask Lan Yin, but Lan Yin just looked embarrassed, stammering without being able to explain.
Ao Wu beckoned to him and said cheerfully, "Xiao Yu, your Female Mother is just tired. Your Beast Father kept her up ’talking’ all night. I’m afraid she won’t wake up before this evening."
"Beast Father," Xiao Yu said, clenching his small fists, "I only gave you the evening!"
Tonight was supposed to be Xiao Hu’s turn. And Xiao Yu himself had only gotten to spend a little while with his Female Mother before his Beast Father ruined it.
’Bad Beast Father!’
Now, no matter how Lan Yin tried to coax him, Xiao Yu refused to acknowledge him. Forget one bowl of pink pearls; even ten bowls couldn’t compare to his Female Mother!
Ao Wu, enjoying the drama, chimed in, "Xiao Yu, why don’t you come be with Beast Father Ao Wu? Beast Father Ao Wu, unlike a certain someone, won’t always be making you upset."
"It just so happens that Beast Father Ao Wu only has your little sister as a child. I’ve been wanting to have both a son and a daughter."
Han Li chimed in, "I want one too! I’ve been jealous of Feng Xuan having two Zaizais for a long time."
Xiao Yu decisively took both their hands and huffed, "Fine, I’m changing Beast Fathers! Bad Beast Father, you don’t have a Zaizai anymore!"
Lan Yin: "..."
To win back his son, he dejectedly went to negotiate with Xiao Hu. In the end, for the price of ten caskets of pearls, he got Xiao Hu to agree to let Xiao Yu join in when it was his turn.
Xiao Hu was very considerate. "Beast Father Lanyin, here’s an onion. Female Mother says peeling onions can help you cry."
Lan Yin took it, his face a mask of utter despair. "Thank you, Xiao Hu."
When Yu An finally woke up, she felt refreshed and full of energy. The moment she opened the door, she saw Lan Yin standing there with puffy, swollen eyes, looking utterly pitiful.
She laughed shamelessly and pulled the pouncing Xiao Yu and Xiao Hu into her embrace.
Although Xiao Hu couldn’t wait to spend time alone with his Female Mother, his older brother Xiao Yu was unhappy. He liked the pretty pearls, but he didn’t want to see his big brother cry.
The Zaizais were all very close, but in Xiao Hu’s heart, Xiao Yu was the closest.
After all, the two of them had formed a life-or-death bond back when they were still in their eggs.
So, Yu An ended up with a little Zaizai on each side. Xiao Hu was sleepy and fell asleep after just a few words.
Xiao Yu stared at his younger brother’s chubby cheeks and asked worriedly, "Female Mother, why is Xiao Hu always sleeping?"
That was a question Yu An couldn’t answer before, and she still couldn’t answer it now.
Xiao Hu wasn’t sick, just perpetually sleepy, as if he were the reincarnation of a sleep god.
He would even fall asleep in the middle of his training, which was why his spiritual power was the lowest of them all.
"It’s okay," Xiao Yu said, patting his little head. "Big brother will train hard. Big brother will protect you."
His only response was a series of soft, steady snores.
...
Little Serpent was just as inactive as Xiao Hu, but instead of sleeping, he would change into his beast form and hang from Yu An’s wrist, on top of her head... randomly appearing in a new spot every few moments.
"Female Mother, this smells so good."
The Zaizais loved the pretty and delicious flower-shaped steamed buns, so whenever Yu An had a spare moment, she would make some for them.
Little Serpent lay sprawled on the kneading board, watching Yu An twist the dough into flower shapes. He could faintly smell the scent of fruits and vegetables in the dough.
"This one is made with green vegetables," Yu An said, pinching off a small piece of dough for him to play with. "Female Mother will make you a little green flower, a one-of-a-kind special one. You’ll eat it all up later, won’t you, my Zaizai?"
Most children dislike green vegetables, but Little Serpent was the worst offender. He wouldn’t take a single bite, always complaining that they were bitter.
Yu An had even started to wonder if her cooking skills had declined, never suspecting anything else.
Only later did she realize the little guy simply didn’t like them, and "the vegetables are bitter" was just his excuse.
"Okay," he said in his soft little voice. "Zaizai will eat it all!"
’It’s one-of-a-kind!’
