Becoming a God Starts with Acting

Chapter 566: The Rainbow Maze

Silvanus felt that it was not only the program itself that was contradictory; even the comments appearing before his eyes seemed contradictory.

From the very beginning, they had been eagerly anticipating Gorin asking a question. Yet now, they were saying that it was merely an opening act and were even more interested in what was about to happen next...

Just then, the first ray of light suddenly appeared within Silvanus’s field of vision.

It was coming from below.

At first, it was only a tiny point of light. But as Silvanus continued to fall, it gradually grew larger.

Eventually, Silvanus could finally make out its original, simple form.

They were... gigantic CDs?

With their sharp edges arranged in a strange architectural structure, Silvanus was not even sure whether he could stand steadily on something like this.

He turned in midair. The darkness intertwined beneath him, supporting his body until he slowly descended onto one of the CDs that could be considered the least tilted in the entire place.

There was no sound, not even the slightest hint of wind. Everything here was eerily quiet.

Silvanus swept his gaze around.

The entire space was filled with enormous CDs jutting out in all directions, making it impossible to walk in a straight line. The space above was completely sealed off, as though Silvanus had not fallen from above at all.

Yet beneath him was nothing but empty space. If he was not careful, he could fall from this pile of CDs, and he had no idea where he would be taken next.

Just then, a strange crackling sound suddenly rang out.

Silvanus instinctively raised his eyes and looked ahead.

He could sense something in the distant darkness calling out to him. The sound was faint and indistinct, however, and he could not even tell what it was trying to convey.

Acting on instinct, Silvanus took a small step forward.

But at that very moment, the gigantic CD beneath Silvanus’s feet suddenly tilted forward, causing his entire body to lurch forward.

The friction between his shoe and the surface of the CD produced a shrill sound, like chalk scraping across a blackboard.

Immediately, as though some kind of switch had been flipped, countless small CDs began shooting toward him from all directions. Their edges had been sharpened to such an extent that even the slightest force was enough to drive them deep into the gigantic CDs!

Silvanus quickly dodged, but the CDs were simply too fast. One of them still managed to leave a deep gash across his upper arm, fresh blood streaming down from the wound.

Yet Silvanus did not make a sound, nor did the injury cause him to lose control of his trajectory.

He quickly reached out with his other hand and caught the edge of another CD, leaving himself suspended in midair. There was no longer any flat surface in sight for him to land on.

And immediately after the first burst of noise erupted, Silvanus could hear a roar coming from the distance.

The glossy surfaces of the CDs began twisting and warping unpredictably, as though they were trying to reflect the shape of the monster approaching from afar.

Through the countless CDs, Silvanus gradually began to see it more clearly.

It was a creature with six arms.

Two of them were mechanical, while the other four were covered in thick black fur, resembling the limbs of some mythical creature. They were unnaturally long, making its body so tall that its actual legs could not even touch the ground.

Its crying mask had become far too small for its face. As a result, part of its face was exposed, giving off a filthy, rust-covered appearance. A thick, crimson liquid resembling molten iron trickled down its face, continuously dripping onto the ground.

There was no doubt about it.

The monster was Gorin.

Although Gorin had hardly been any different from a monster from the very beginning, this form of his was undeniably even uglier and more terrifying.

Silvanus merely observed it for a moment, yet he somehow felt that the creature was becoming increasingly real.

Just as that thought crossed his mind, the Gorins reflected across the CDs suddenly raised their arms in unison!

From within those reflected images, Gorin’s elongated arm actually reached out.

In the blink of an eye, it was already right in front of Silvanus.

Silvanus’s eyes widened. The veins on the back of his hand bulged as he hurriedly used the force of his grip to propel himself upward, launching his body forward!

"Boom!"

The collision sent a thunderous shockwave through the entire space.

Immediately afterward, the CDs seemed to hear the sound as well and came flying toward him.

Silvanus was the only one near the source of the noise, so naturally, he was the one who had to bear the brunt of it.

Moreover, Silvanus had already realized that the louder the sound, the more CDs would appear.

And this time, the swarm of CDs was practically like a flock of pigeons scrambling for food, almost completely blocking every possible escape route.

Just as the viewers were wondering what Silvanus would do, they saw him simply close his eyes tightly.

[What the hell? Is he just giving up and waiting to die?]

[No. He’s just leaving everything to his god.]

[Speaking of which, even in the first dungeon, the only thing Silvanus ever demonstrated was his acting talent. Everything else was left to Erebus, hahaha.]

"Useless! Your god will never be able to hear you here!"

Gorin’s voice rang out from the distance, sounding as though it were coming from an old, worn-out radio.

Silvanus could not help but pause for a moment upon hearing that.

He suddenly opened his eyes and sneered.

"If he came here, this place wouldn’t even be enough to satisfy his appetite. Do you really think I’d actually call him?"

The moment he finished speaking, the small CDs also turned into black dust, which was pulled into the God Realm.

[Hahaha, look at Silvanus’s face! He looks so pissed!]

[Stop acting tough, darling. It’s obvious you really want to call Erebus.]

[Actually, I don’t think he needs to call him at all. Once Silvanus truly has nowhere left to run, Erebus will appear and play the hero rescuing the beauty.]

[Gorin literally said that gods cannot be summoned here. Why are you all so confident?]

[Exactly. You delusional idiots.]

[That’s because you don’t know anything about Erebus. If it’s Silvanus, he really doesn’t need to summon him!]

Meanwhile, Silvanus was already rapidly organizing his thoughts.

The only difference between him and Gorin at the moment was that Gorin knew exactly where he was, while Silvanus could only see Gorin through the images reflected inside these CDs...

Wait.

Inside the CDs?
