The man’s expression had long grown dark and bitter.

WHOOSH!

He blinked away once more.

But barely fifty yards away, he reappeared deep underwater again.

Right as he appeared, a powerful pressure sucked him back several yards.

WHOOSH!

The man blinked again, but the result was no different.

Theo watched him closely from the center of the ocean.

’Fifty yards,’ he thought. ’That seems to be the limit of his blink.’

WHOOSH!

The man vanished again.

But now that Theo knew the range of his blink, he was already prepared.

The moment he reappeared, water began swirling around him violently.

In only a second and a half, the strong current dragged him nearly twenty yards back towards Theo.

’There’s the interval,’ Theo thought, narrowing his eyes. ’He recovers for a second and then prepares his next blink in half a second.’

It wasn’t super long.

But it was more than enough.

CRACKLE! CRACKLE!

Several huge lightning bolts began forming in the air.

Theo didn’t fire them immediately.

Instead, his eyes remained locked on the man.

’Come on.’

The man’s face twisted as spatial mana gathered around him once more.

WHOOSH!

The moment he vanished, Theo’s lightning bolts shot forward.

But the man had expected exactly that.

WHOOSH!

Instead of reappearing directly ahead, he emerged several yards to the side.

The moment he appeared, a thick layer of ice rapidly spread around his body.

’You think I haven’t noticed the lightning?’ he thought, smirking. ’Just you wait until I’m out of this damn water!’

Even though the lightning bolts shot past him, the man refused to relax.

CRACKLE!

Yellow lightning immediately spread through the surrounding water.

The ice around his body cracked as the electricity hit its outer layer.

’Fuck!’

He immediately began gathering spatial mana again.

But Theo had never expected the lightning to kill him.

He only needed to interrupt him for a moment.

The pressure inside the water surrounding the man suddenly grew stronger.

BOOOOM!

The already-damaged ice shattered instantly.

Before the man could complete his next blink, the electricity ran through his body.

’’ARGH!’’

His muscles locked up instantly while the spatial mana scattered.

For a brief moment, he couldn’t move a single finger.

And being completely submerged only made things worse.

Water rushed into his open mouth as his body convulsed uncontrollably.

’No!’ the man thought, his eyes wide with terror.

He desperately tried to gather spatial mana once more, hoping to blink away.

But his body just refused to listen.

CRACKLE! CRACKLE!

He remained unable to move for several seconds.

And that was more than enough time for Theo.

High above the ocean, Theo had already raised his umbrella.

A huge water tornado, easily a hundred yards long, had formed above it.

Within it, two streams continuously swirled in opposite directions at insane speeds.

’Got you,’ he thought, staring at the paralyzed man underneath the water.

Without hesitation, Theo brought his umbrella down.

WHOOOOOSH!!!

The enormous water tornado gradually began curving down with it, casting a huge shadow over the man.

As the man saw it approach, his eyes grew even wider.

’MOVE!’ he screamed internally.

Suddenly, spatial mana began to gather around his body.

WHOOSH!

At the last possible moment, he managed to blink away.

But instead of a fifty-yard blink, he barely moved a few yards.

Unfortunately... that wasn’t nearly enough.

’NO—’

BOOOOOM!!!

The moment the water tornado crashed down upon him, the two opposing currents caught him.

CRACK! CRACK!

His body was violently twisted in two directions, instantly shattering his spine.

Before he could even let out a scream, the rest of his body was shredded into pieces.

Theo stared at the scene for a moment with narrowed eyes.

’What an annoying element,’ he thought. ’I’m glad the escape nonsense is over now, though.’

Before he could even smile, something slammed into the side of his head.

THUD!

’What?!’

Theo frowned and immediately turned around.

A massive rock giant stood in the middle of his ocean, pointing its massive sledgehammer directly at him.

’’You interfered in my fight!’’ Owen cursed loudly.

He pointed towards the water beneath him.

’’How is it supposed to be fun when you make it this easy?!’’

Theo’s eyes followed the direction he was pointing.

At the bottom of a large crater was an unrecognizable puddle of bones, flesh, and blood.

Theo’s brows furrowed right away.

’What the hell?’

BOOOM!!!

Owen suddenly slammed his enormous sledgehammer into the puddle again.

Blood and chunks of flesh splattered through the surrounding water.

’’Fucking asshole!’’ Owen cursed before slowly pushing through the water.

A slight shiver ran down Theo’s spine.

’How many times has he done that already?’ he thought, staring at the crater. ’Did I really make him this angry?’

After a moment, he quickly shook the thought away.

’Whatever,’ he thought. ’It isn’t all over yet.’

With a wave of his hand, he canceled the Ocean’s Dominion spell, allowing the water to flood away freely.

At the same time, Theo’s gaze locked onto Lucienne.

Unlike him and Owen, her fight wasn’t over yet.

But judging by the situation... it wouldn’t last much longer either.

BOOOM!!!

A familiar robed skeletal figure slammed through a broad earth wall.

Behind it, her opponent stumbled back, immediately forming several earth pillars and spikes to block it once more.

The skeletal figure raised its scythe right away, flames gathering around its edges.

WHOOOSH!!!

A huge flaming arc sliced straight through each pillar and spike.

As her opponent saw the approaching arc, another pillar immediately rose beneath him.

The pillar launched him high into the air.

WHOOOSH!

The flaming arc passed barely beneath his feet, slicing through the pillar instead.

’Too close!’ the man thought, gritting his teeth.

But before he could even begin falling, a shadow appeared above him.

His eyes widened instantly.

The skeletal figure had spread its enormous wings and shot straight towards him.

’Shit!’

An earth sphere instantly formed around his body.

But the skeletal figure didn’t slow down in the slightest.

Gray flames erupted around its scythe once more.

WHOOOOSH!!!

Another massive flaming arc shot forward.

Only a second later, the earth sphere split straight down the middle.

And so did the man inside.

Theo only watched for a moment longer.

’Well,’ he thought, letting out a breath. ’That takes care of that mess.’
