Becoming The Strongest Using My Would-You-Rather System!

Chapter 301 - Forty C-ranks, One Spell

The dark clouds continued expanding in the sky above.

It’d only taken a couple of seconds before they’d reached the same size as they had during the competition at Westridge.

But Theo wasn’t stopping there.

’I wonder how strong I can make it now that my mana has increased so much,’ he thought, grinning as he continued pouring in mana.

The Desert Vultures had long sensed the danger above them.

Several of them let out loud screeches, their blood-red eyes locking onto Theo below.

SCREEECH!

Almost immediately, the flock completely spread apart.

Most climbed high into the sky while gathering as much earth mana as they could.

Others came together and started forming hundreds of razor-sharp spikes that pointed at Theo.

’They’re certainly preparing,’ he thought, narrowing his eyes.

After a moment, his grin only grew wider.

He’d stopped growing the clouds once they’d spread several hundred yards around him.

The first drops of rain immediately started to fall.

Within seconds, an uncountable number of them followed.

WHOOSH!

Heavy rain began pouring from the dark clouds, quickly covering the entire area.

The vultures didn’t wait any longer.

Hundreds of sandstone spikes shot straight down from all around him.

Some got damaged as they went through the rain, but it didn’t matter when there were this many.

Yet, Theo remained completely still.

Gray mana slowly started to gather in his hand.

A large Chaos Door slowly rose from the ground before curving around him.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH! WHOOSH!

One after another, the sandstone spikes disappeared into its gray surface.

At the same time, another Chaos Door opened high above the vultures.

The vultures barely had time to look up as their own attack rained down upon them.

Fortunately, the top vultures that hadn’t decided to attack Theo had long formed large earth shields that covered the sky.

But before the earth spikes even reached the shields, several deafening bangs rang out from the clouds above.

RUMBLE! RUMBLE!

Golden lights flickered inside the clouds as they gathered into several large orbs.

At the same time, Theo raised another hand, halting all the raindrops in the middle of the air.

’Let’s do this,’ he thought, nodding once.

CRACKLE!

Several huge lightning beams instantly shot down from the clouds.

They swirled around each other like a cyclone, ravaging everything in their path.

The moment they touched the floating water droplets, countless branches of lightning exploded from their sides.

The branches quickly shot towards the next droplets, splitting apart once more.

Only a second later, the entire sky lit up in a bright golden light.

CRACKLE! CRACK! CRACK!

Countless branches of lightning raced through the rain, jumping from droplet to droplet faster than the eye could follow.

But the main beams never stopped.

They continued spiraling straight down through the center of the golden web.

BOOOOOOM!!!

The enormous lightning beams slammed directly into the earth shields.

There wasn’t even any resistance.

The massive shields were instantly blown apart, countless tons of sandstone disappearing inside the golden lightning.

The vultures underneath didn’t even have time to react.

WHOOSH!

In an instant, their bodies were completely disintegrated.

And the beams weren’t even done there.

They continued rapidly spiraling towards the ground.

BOOOOOOM!!!

A bright light shone through the sky as the lightning slammed into the ground.

After the light faded, a massive crater filled with molten rock and glass revealed itself.

At the same time, the remaining vultures weren’t doing much better.

The countless branches of lightning had already spread through the rain like a spiderweb.

SCREECH!!!

Smaller lightning bolts struck them from every direction.

Sandstone armor shattered apart almost instantly.

Large holes were continuously blasted through wings and bodies.

One after another, vultures began dropping from the sky.

But most of their bodies had fully disintegrated before even reaching the ground.

Theo stared up at the destruction with wide eyes.

’Holy shit,’ he thought. ’It’s actually so strong.’

Not only was it a much bigger version compared to the competition.

It hadn’t even taken that much of his mana!

Theo glanced back up at the sky.

Outside of two vultures, the entire group had been dealt with.

With a flick of his fingers, the water drops still in the air gathered into two spheres.

Without another thought, they shot through the sky.

The final two barely even had any mana remaining after having escaped the previous attack.

All they could do was watch as the water spheres completely enveloped them.

CRACK! CRACK!

Their bones shattered as red blood began tainting the water.

In an instant, their bodies had been pressed into round meat spheres from the pressure.

’That takes care of them,’ he thought.

He immediately turned back around, his smile vanishing again.

BOOOM!!!

Another massive light beam shot towards one of the B-ranks.

As something created by over a dozen gold cores, its power easily reached that of strong platinum cores.

Yet, the vulture wasn’t to be underestimated either.

Though it’d already been injured, it easily used massive sandstone walls to block the attack for just long enough to move aside.

On Dragonfang’s side, it wasn’t much better.

Darius and the others were holding their ground, countless spells smashing against the beast from every direction.

And slowly but surely, injuries began piling up on that B-rank’s body as well.

’Good,’ he thought, narrowing his eyes. ’Let’s hurry back and help the others now.’

But before he’d even taken a step, the situation suddenly changed.

’’AHHHHH!!!’’

’’WHAT?!’’

Several cries rang out from the Imperial Church’s side.

Theo’s eyes snapped towards them, only to find four people suddenly in the middle of the air.

For a split second, none of them seemed to understand what had happened.

Then the B-rank vulture moved.

SCREEEEEECH!

Its enormous wings spread wide as it shot through the sky.

The four church members barely had time to react.

SHHK! SHHK!

Its sandstone-covered wings tore straight through them.

Blood exploded through the air as several pieces of their bodies began falling towards the ground.

’What the fuck?!’ Theo thought, his eyes widening.
