Chapter 90: Showing Cards
While the girls on the deck were trapped in a tough fight, Bibi Vespa stared at Kevin with great interest. Her mouth was full of mockery. "Human, accept how weak you are. You can only watch as they become playthings for my children. Let me tell you, all of my children are male. Their... you know... are three times bigger than a normal human’s. Hahahaha!"
Kevin looked at Bibi Vespa, his voice ice cold. "I have to admit, even if me and my crew worked together, we might not be able to beat you. But too bad for you. You’re still going to die today."
Kevin pulled out the [Eldritch Mall VIP] Card from his pocket and threw it hard onto the deck of the Two-Masted Sloop. "Come out, Lilith."
The VIP card spun wildly through the air. It didn’t stop until it hit an Elite Human-faced Wasp that had just landed. Right away, the card started sucking the blood out of that wasp. In the blink of an eye, it drained the creature dry, leaving only a dead husk.
A bloody Eldritch door opened from the corpse of the Elite Human-faced Wasp.
Lilith swayed her hips as she slowly stepped onto the deck. She frowned. "Kevin, do you really want to use up the favor I promised you right now?"
Kevin raised an eyebrow and said loudly, "I knew you’ve been watching this whole time. Now it’s your turn to act."
Lilith rolled her eyes. "Well, I did steal two Human-faced Wasp Empress eggshells from her. I have to clean up my own mess."
She paused, then turned to look at Bibi Vespa with a playful smile. "Otherwise, if that guy Soros comes looking for me, I’ll be in big trouble."
A seductive gleam flickered in Lilith’s eyes.
Then, high above the clouds, the giant, charming eyes appeared once again.
Bibi Vespa felt a powerful mental attack crashing down from the sky. She screamed and immediately let go of her control over Eliana. "What kind of power is that? How can it have such terrifying mental pressure? Soros, save me!"
Bibi Vespa screamed wildly. She used all her mental energy to try and contact the evil god Soros, but she got no response at all.
Lilith yawned and mocked, "Give it up. Inside my charm barrier, you can’t send out any distress signals."
Seeing this, Bibi Vespa gritted her teeth. "Fine. If that’s how it is, then let’s die together!"
The dozens of remaining Elite Human-faced Wasps in the sky charged straight at Lilith like they didn’t care about their own lives.
Lilith watched the poisonous stingers rushing toward her and rolled her eyes. "I told you, it’s useless. I’m a Succubus, remember?"
Her voice was full of temptation. Like magic, it instantly took control of every Elite Human-faced Wasp’s mind.
The swarm, which had been charging at full speed just a moment ago, all stopped. They turned around and looked at their Empress, Bibi Vespa.
Then, Lilith shot Kevin a mischievous look. "Hey, if I’m doing the work for you, you should at least pay me something."
Kevin rolled his eyes. "You promised to help me out once. Since when do I have to pay you for it?"
Lilith nodded seriously. "Of course. You used the Eldritch Mall VIP Card to summon me. I have to pay a fee just to show up here, you know."
Then Lilith had a bright idea. She smiled and said, "How about this: you and your crew each sacrifice half of your health, energy, and Sanity to me. I’ll take care of this thing for you."
Kevin rolled his eyes. "Deal."
Lilith giggled. She raised her hand and began drawing runes of a contract in the air. "Don’t worry. I won’t cheat you guys. I’ll sign a soul contract with you. After you make the sacrifice, I’ll put on a great show for you."
As soon as Lilith finished drawing the last rune, a purple-red light lit up under the feet of every girl on the deck of the *Two-Masted Sloop*.
[HP -50]
[Sanity -50]
[Stamina -50]
A series of warning sounds rang in the girls’ ears.
They felt their bodies sway. A strong wave of weakness washed over them.
But soon, they managed to steady themselves.
Like them, Kevin also lost half of his health, Sanity, and stamina. But thanks to his strong body and willpower, he didn’t show any signs of weakness.
Lilith looked at Kevin with some surprise. She praised him, "I knew you weren’t a normal human anymore. Alright, the show is about to begin!"
The Elite Human-faced Wasps had already charged over to Bibi Vespa’s side. Each of them had their reproductive organs sticking out, nearly 80 centimeters long.
When Bibi Vespa saw this, her eyes went wide. "What are you doing? Are you crazy? I’m your Empress!"
Lilith laughed. "Isn’t an Empress supposed to give birth? Today, I’ll let you give birth until you drop dead. All of you, go!"
With Lilith’s command, the Elite Human-faced Wasps rushed at Bibi Vespa like dogs in heat.
Bibi Vespa screamed. She immediately tried to use her telekinesis to push the wasps away.
But to her horror, even though she wanted to push them away, the wasps seemed to be pulled by some force. Instead of being pushed back, they rushed at her even faster.
By the time the Elite Human-faced Wasps had pinned her down, she still couldn’t understand why her telekinesis had completely gone out of control.
Every time she tried to use it to snap the wasps’ necks, her power would twist in strange ways. It simply wouldn’t obey her.
Suddenly, a sharp pain shot through her lower body. Bibi Vespa felt like her entire body was being hollowed out.
The colorful light that had been shining in her eyes quickly faded. A lot of blood poured out of her mouth and dripped into the terrifying sea.
But what surprised Kevin was that blood from a Lord-level Eldritch Entity like Bibi Vespa falling into the terrifying sea didn’t attract any other Eldritch Entities at all.
Lilith noticed Kevin’s confusion and smiled. "My domain has sealed off this area. As long as I’m here, no Eldritch Entity dares to come near this island."
She then walked up to Kevin with a teasing smile. "So? Was that exciting enough for you? Want me to help you cool down a little?"
Kevin rolled his eyes and glared at Lilith. "I don’t need women. And I don’t like watching movies about one woman and a bunch of guys."
Lilith giggled. "I didn’t know you were so innocent. Well, since you’re not interested, I’ll take this Human-faced Wasp Empress away."
Lilith lightly raised her hand. The Human-faced Wasps that had been on top of Bibi Vespa instantly turned to ash.
After suffering endless humiliation and torture, Bibi Vespa’s mind had gone completely numb. Her eyes were empty as she floated toward Lilith’s hand. Her body shrank into a small ball of flesh, finally landing in Lilith’s palm.
Kevin looked at the tiny meatball with curiosity. "So this is the same Human-faced Wasp Empress? It can turn into a human-like form?"
Lilith rolled her eyes at Kevin. "Don’t be so surprised. The Human-faced Wasp Empress has always had two forms."
She glanced at Eliana and smiled. "But don’t worry. Switching between forms requires soul power, not genetic ability. That little beauty you’ve enslaved won’t turn into something so disgusting."
Lilith turned and walked toward the teleportation circle. Her voice was soft. "I’ve done what I promised you. Now we’re even. But if you ever have any business, don’t forget to look me up."
Only after the portal had completely closed did Kevin and the girls on the *Two-Masted Sloop* finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Raphael and Toti had watched the entire conversation between Kevin and Lilith, and their eyes were full of shock.
As Survivors, they had also summoned Eldritch merchants before. But none of them had ever talked to a Survivor as politely as Lilith had just talked to Kevin.
Toti carefully moved closer to Raphael and whispered, "This Kevin guy plays by his own rules. It’s already strange enough that his ship is full of beautiful women. Now he’s buddy-buddy with an Eldritch merchant too. Is his Talent ability just for picking up girls?"
Raphael shot Toti a look and whispered back, "Don’t talk nonsense. If it weren’t for his connection with that Eldritch merchant, we’d all be dead right now. Think about it—if he had such a strong trump card, why didn’t he use it earlier?"
He paused, his face turning serious. "That just now... it might really have been a life-or-death moment."
On the other side of the deck, Nova, Amelia, and Luna were standing close together, their faces full of frustration.
"If only I were stronger, Kevin wouldn’t have had to waste such a valuable favor to ask Lilith for help," Amelia said through gritted teeth. The Glock pistol in her hand creaked under her grip.
Nova let out a long sigh. Her voice was weak. "Kevin is just growing too fast. We need to work harder to keep up with him. We can’t keep holding him back."
Luna nodded firmly. "Luckily, we collected a lot of Eldritch Entity body parts this time. If we soak them in the Holy Spring, we should be able to make some useful skill potions."
Amelia’s face immediately tightened. "Are you trying to get yourself killed? What if the potion’s power is too much for you to handle? Something bad could happen."
Luna stuck out her tongue. "I just don’t want to be the one holding you all back."
While the girls were blaming themselves, the captains inside the cave at the top of the mountain finally let out sighs of relief.
"That fight just now was terrifying. What level was that Eldritch Entity? Even the people on the Two-Masted Sloop almost died."
"To be honest, the most shocking part was that Eldritch merchant. I never knew an Eldritch merchant could fight for a Survivor. No wonder they were so confident."
"I think we really need to think carefully about whether we should mess with a Survivor crew like that. They’re just too strong."
The captains were all talking at once. Most of them were starting to feel like they wanted to back off.
