Chapter 121: Brothers in Misfortune
To save ammo, Kevin and Amelia deliberately loaded their magazines with [Big Fireball] Bullets and Normal Bullets at a ratio of one to twenty.
That way, when they needed to suppress an enemy, [White Wolf’s Eye] would have a chance to fire a devastating explosive shot.
This plan was originally meant for dealing with Eldritch Entities of the same level. Nobody expected the first person to take this kind of damage to be Draven.
Three hundred meters out at sea, Draven climbed onto the back of a giant shark, looking completely beaten up.
He hadn’t expected Kevin’s team to have two identical A-Tier sniper rifles, and that both of them could hit their target one hundred percent of the time.
With those two sniper rifles around, any move Draven made would be instantly locked down.
If a third person had attacked him with a [Big Fireball] enchanted Bullet like the one just now, Draven would have been seriously hurt.
Thinking about this, Draven looked down at the two fist-sized wounds on his chest and gritted his teeth. "Damn it! I shouldn’t have come alone."
Draven urged the giant shark beneath him to get away quickly.
Kevin wanted to chase after him, but the giant shark suddenly opened its huge mouth and spat out a bunch of Eldritch Entity corpses.
Soon, a thick fog rose over the sea, and a large number of Eldritch Entities began gathering around the "Daddy" Cannon.
Kevin narrowed his eyes and stared coldly in the direction Draven had disappeared. "You got lucky this time. Next time we meet, you’re dead."
On the other side.
Draven fled for ten miles straight.
Only after making sure Kevin and the others weren’t following did he finally breathe a sigh of relief.
Right now, he was full of anger with nowhere to let it out. So he opened the system communication channel and sent an emergency message to Darius, the High Priest of The Eye of Tarot. "Where are your people from [The Eye of Tarot]? Didn’t we agree that you’d help me capture Ms. Nova?"
Darius quickly put on a flattering tone. "Mr. Lone Wolf, my people are nearby. If you don’t mind, you can head toward coordinates (197, 233). They’ll rendezvous with you right away."
Draven breathed a sigh of relief. "I hope the helpers you sent aren’t idiots."
The giant shark was fast. It only took Draven a few hours to spot Keston’s pirate ship, the Spectral Corsair Vessel.
Even from several nautical miles away, Draven instinctively covered his nose.
What the hell was that smell? It was disgusting!
He frowned and guided the giant shark toward the pirate ship, the Spectral Corsair Vessel.
When the giant shark got within five hundred meters of the ship, it suddenly started twisting and thrashing around in pain.
Draven frowned. What was going on?
Confused, he jumped off the shark’s back to check on his mount.
But as soon as he hit the water, the strong stench almost choked him.
He held his breath and swam toward the shark’s tail. Suddenly, a hot, disgusting stream shot out and splashed all over his face.
He realized the shark was taking a dump. His face turned green.
If he didn’t need the giant shark to travel across this terrifying sea, he would have killed it on the spot for humiliating him like this.
"Damn it! You could have warned me before you pooped." Draven climbed back onto the giant shark’s back and kicked it hard.
But the kick was so strong it flipped the shark over onto its back.
Draven’s eyes went wide as he stared at the shark. He was stunned.
Why was its belly so bloated?
Did he just kill it with one kick?
Frustrated, Draven had no choice but to wipe his face, jump back into the sea, and swim toward the Spectral Corsair Vessel.
At that very moment, Black Knight Aaron had just pulled up his pants and walked out of the bathroom.
Looking weak, he leaned on the railing, wishing he could tear Kevin apart.
He thought he was fine after that Survivor treated him. But he had seriously underestimated the power of those Moonlight Fruits.
After the Spectral Corsair Vessel had been sailing for an hour, all of them started feeling stomach pain again.
With no other choice, they had to take turns using the bathroom.
After seven or eight rounds, they were completely wiped out.
Right then, Keston also walked out of the bathroom. "How are you holding up?"
Black Knight Aaron sighed. "Still alive. By the way, why does the sea around here smell so bad?"
Keston shrugged and explained, "My ship, the Spectral Corsair Vessel, doesn’t have a water recycling system. All your waste gets flushed straight into the sea. Maybe the waste has so much diarrhea stuff in it that even the ship itself is having the runs."
Black Knight Aaron’s eyes went wide. "The ship can get diarrhea too?"
Keston rolled his eyes at Aaron. "Of course. Strictly speaking, this ship has its own living system."
The moment Black Knight Aaron realized that the ship he was riding on was also dumping waste into the sea, he felt sick.
Suddenly, a huge splash shot up about seven or eight meters high. Draven leaped out of the water and landed firmly on the deck.
He looked at Black Knight Aaron and Keston, who were leaning on each other, looking completely drained. He frowned. "You’re the ones Darius sent to help me?"
Black Knight Aaron could hear the disappointment in Draven’s voice.
He forced a smile and explained, "Sorry, Mr. Lone Wolf. We got poisoned. We’re pretty weak."
"Poisoned? With what?" Draven stepped back cautiously.
Black Knight Aaron pointed at the seawater below and told Draven all about how they all got diarrhea and were pretty much on the verge of passing out.
Draven’s face turned green. "So you’re telling me you dumped all your poisonous waste into the sea?"
As Black Knight Aaron and Keston both nodded, Draven felt a sharp cramp in his stomach. "You... you sons of bitches!"
Gurgle.
Before Draven could finish cursing, his stomach started rumbling.
"Damn it! Where’s the bathroom?"
Right then, Bella happened to walk out of the bathroom, holding up her skirt.
Draven didn’t care about gender. He shoved Bella aside and sat down in the women’s bathroom.
Bella frowned as she watched Draven’s pained expression. "Who is he?"
Black Knight Aaron sighed and gritted his teeth. "Someone who’s also looking for Kevin to settle a score."
At the same time, the Eldritch Entities that had appeared near the waters around the "Daddy" Cannon had been cleared out.
Kevin was directing one Fish Fiend after another to haul the Eldritch Entity corpses onto the deck. Among them were quite a few Elite-level Eldritch Entities.
Kevin nodded with satisfaction. "Good luck this time. We can get ourselves some new workers."
He took out his B-Tier Eldritch Artifact, the [Wraith Revolver], and bound the souls of a few Elite-level Eldritch Entities.
Right after that, the Normal Fish Fiends Kevin had summoned earlier collapsed one by one and dissolved into specks of light.
Kevin pulled out the [Wraith Revolver] again and fired five more shots.
This time, instead of five Normal Fish Fiends, the Wraith Revolver summoned five different creatures: a humanoid turtle with a shell on its back, a humanoid lizard with a long tail, a four-legged octopus, a giant crocodile that could stand and walk like a human, and a huge lobster with eight legs and six arms.
Along with the Elite Fish Fiend that was already five meters long, Kevin’s [Wraith Revolver] was now bound to the perfect Fish Fiend squad.
Kevin looked at his impressive lineup and said coldly, "Go help process the Eldritch Entity organs."
The six Elite Fish Fiends all nodded and started helping the girls work.
Just then, Amelia walked up with a frown. "If that guy comes back, we might still be in for a tough fight."
Kevin sneered, completely unbothered. "Don’t worry. When you’re up against a team, going solo always leaves you open."
Amelia looked confused. "You already have a plan to deal with him?"
Kevin nodded. "With so many of us, if we each grab a gun, that guy’s going to have a bad time."
Kevin waved his hand, and suddenly ten [Zero Error] sniper rifles appeared on the deck.
Amelia stared at the pile of [Zero Error] rifles lying there, completely stunned. "You have this many A-Tier weapons?"
Kevin chuckled. "So, do you still think dealing with that guy is going to be a problem?"
Amelia grinned, her face relaxing. "What problem? He’s only got two boomerangs. If three or more people aim at him, he’s definitely going to break."
Kevin spread his hands and smiled. "Exactly. So relax. The next time we see that guy, we’ll all pull out our guns and aim at him."
Amelia imagined the scene and couldn’t help but burst out laughing. "I feel like that’s kind of cruel. He might actually cry."
Suddenly, Toti’s voice came from behind them. "I don’t care! Give me one. I want revenge!"
Kevin turned around and saw Toti wrapped in bandages, looking defiant.
His broken arm was in a cast. Even with the [Tear of the Goddess], it would take Toti at least half a month to fully recover.
"Uncle Toti, you can’t handle a sniper rifle with just one hand right now." Kevin said, tossing a [White Wolf’s Eye] to him.
Toti caught the [White Wolf’s Eye] and frowned. "This thing can’t break through that guy’s defense, can it?"
Kevin grinned. "You were out cold earlier. We loaded the [White Wolf’s Eye’s] magazine with bullets enchanted with the Big Fireball enchantment.
That idiot thought they were just normal bullets and took them head-on. Well, let’s just say..."
Toti burst out laughing. "So that’s what happened. Then I’m keeping this [White Wolf’s Eye]. Next time I see him, I’m going to scare the hell out of that bastard."
After sending Toti off, Kevin handed out the remaining [Zero Error] sniper rifles to the girls one by one.
At the same time, he enchanted over thirty sniper rifle bullets and gave them to the girls as well.
