Chapter 126: Entering the Evil God
But soon, Kevin gave up on that idea.
Knowing Lilith’s personality, if Kevin didn’t have enough supplies to trade with her, she probably wouldn’t do him any favors.
It looked like he needed to find some time to hunt more monsters and collect Eldritch Artifacts and equipment.
"It’s getting late. Let’s head back and rest early." Kevin took Nova’s hand and led her into the Captain’s Room.
According to the girls’ private agreement, tonight was Nova’s turn to be with Kevin.
Even though Nova and Kevin had slept together many times before, she still blushed when they were naked together in the bathroom. "Don’t look at me like that. It makes me shy."
Seeing that Nova was relaxed, Kevin decided to joke around. "Then turn around and put your hands on the wall. Yeah, just like that. Now push your butt back. Perfect. Here I come!"
While Nova was still confused, Kevin grabbed her slim waist and pushed forward.

Kevin only took one look and was knocked back by the force, going soft.

"You’re not Nova! Who are you?" Kevin forced himself to ignore the pain in his head, staring at Nova.
Nova’s eyes were now pitch black with red pupils. Her face was covered in blood-red veins, making her look like a ghost.
Kevin had seen humans possessed by the Blood Mist Phantom before, and they looked exactly like Nova did now.
That’s when it hit him. He shouted, "Who are you? Why did you take over Nova’s body? What do you want?"
The evil god Pelosi used Nova’s body to quickly wrap a towel around herself.
She looked at the bruises all over her body, then stared at Kevin with hatred. "You dared to defile my body! You deserve to die!"
With a furious roar, an incredibly powerful sound wave came out of Nova’s mouth.
This soul-shattering noise almost knocked Kevin’s consciousness right out of his body.
In the critical moment, Kevin quickly activated the shield from his [Windwhisperer] set, and turned on his [Dance of the Winds] and [Wheels of Flame & Wind] talents. Only then did he manage to rush out of the bathroom and fly into the air.
But Nova didn’t let him go.
She lifted off the ground, floating into the air just like Eliana using her psychic powers to fly.
Every time she opened her mouth, she let out earth-shattering sound waves.
These sound waves didn’t just hurt the soul—they also caused terrible shockwave damage.
Every time a sound wave spread out, huge splashes erupted from the sea around them. In the center of the sound wave, the water was pushed away, creating a vacuum zone.
Kevin’s eyes went wide. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing. His mouth twitched.

Once he realized this, Kevin knew he couldn’t fight the evil god head-on.
To stop Nova from attacking his teammates, Kevin ran away while luring Nova to chase after him.
"Nova, calm down! I’m your lover!" Kevin shouted.
"Damn human! You defiled my body. I’ll take your life!" Pelosi was getting angrier by the second.
"Great evil god, this is all a misunderstanding. I didn’t know you were about to take over. Besides, weren’t you enjoying it just now?" Kevin tried to talk his way out.
But that comment hit a nerve.
"I’ll kill you!" she roared.
Kevin’s words had completely pissed her off.
Originally, Pelosi had planned to use the mark on Lone Wolf Draven’s boomerang to quietly influence Nova’s mind, making it easier to fully take over her body later on.
But the very first time her consciousness descended, Pelosi was violated from behind by Kevin.
The mix of pain and pleasure infuriated Pelosi. She felt like a lowly creature had defiled her.
As Pelosi took over Nova’s body for longer and longer, her power grew more and more terrifying.
At first, she chased Kevin using only sound waves that dealt both mental and physical damage. But gradually, Pelosi began using her singing to summon Eldritch Entities from the surrounding sea, all of them joining in to hunt Kevin down.
After escaping only ten nautical miles, Kevin already had over a thousand Eldritch Entities chasing him from behind.
"Fuck!" Kevin cursed out loud.
Now he finally understood why the [Cantor] Nova was so powerful in his past life.
With an evil god living inside her, of course she was strong.
He couldn’t let the evil god keep control of Nova’s body.
Kevin realized the situation was critical. He had to cut off the mental connection between the evil god and Nova as soon as possible.
So Kevin gritted his teeth and decided to take a gamble.
He pulled out his [Eldritch Mall VIP Card] and tore it up right in front of Pelosi.
Then Lilith stepped out of the portal. She was about to greet Kevin, but suddenly felt a terrifying presence right beside her.
"Kevin, what is this?" Lilith turned to look at Nova.
She immediately saw the evil god’s mark deep in Nova’s soul. "Lady Pelosi?"
Lilith’s mouth twitched. She was cursing Kevin in her head for dragging her into trouble.
Kevin didn’t give Lilith a chance to speak. He went straight to the point: "Lilith, please explain the latest rules of the Eldritch Business District to me."
"What? Kevin, are you messing with me?" Lilith was furious when she heard this request.
But Kevin ignored her anger.
He held up his [Eldritch Mall VIP Card] and said, "This is my VIP service, isn’t it? While you’re providing me with service, no Eldritch Entity can harm me or my companions around me."
Lilith took a deep breath.
She hated Kevin so much.
So Kevin had summoned her just to use her as a shield.

Kevin opened his hands and pulled out the A-Tier Eldritch Artifact that had dropped from the Eldritch giant - the [Thousand-Eyed Demon Pupil]. "I want to trade this for an item that can stop Pelosi from possessing Nova again."
Seeing the A-Tier Eldritch Artifact, Lilith’s expression softened. "Since this is a high-value trade, I’ll let the earlier incident slide. But don’t do it again. Facing an evil god puts a lot of pressure on me too."
Kevin rolled his eyes. "After hearing you talk down to Soros, I thought you were at least on the same level as an evil god."
Lilith stomped her foot in anger. "Do you think Soros and Pelosi are the same? Soros isn’t even worthy of carrying Pelosi’s shoes."
Kevin’s eyes widened in surprise. "Is Pelosi really that powerful?"
