Boundary Labyrinth and the Foreign Magician
553 Daryl's Thoughts
"Mmm. If it snows tomorrow morning, it'll be all right."
It was a beautiful thing around my mother's grave that seems to be well maintained from time to time. If I pay him for the light snow on the headstone, is that enough or something?
The snow is well covered, and the tombstone and other details are thoroughly cleaned.
Harold and Cynthia said it made the job easier because of the witchcraft in the levitation, but they actually seem to be taking full advantage of it.
It seems to have snowed recently, so the area near the ground is about as thin and snowy as it was, but there is no reason why it should be snowing to this extent. There will be nothing in particular as of today.
"Thank you both."
"No, because this is our job."
"I'm glad you said that."
The tomb guard brothers and sisters smile.
"I wonder if you'll show me your magic props when you get home. I'll fix it for you."
"Thank you"
The two of them quietly come bowing their heads.
"Well, shall we go back?"
"Yes."
And, Grace smiles and nods quietly. We all walk back to our mother's house in a snowy tree.
"Theo, I have to go back to the city."
"Okay, Dad. I'll see you at the mansion later."
"Uhm."
Your father seems busy with a lot of things. He said he was putting it in, but is that it? In the meantime, I've got a meeting around there about who's staying at Dad's mansion, and I'm done greeting him, so this one won't be a problem. So - what about Cadkeus?
Let him take the bird look and go over the outer wall - and get off on the proper roof. Cadkeus loses shape after making sure there are no people's eyes around him. A black cat appeared out of the darkness when he slipped down to the building legend and reached a narrow alley.
Take a relaxing foothold and make a wide walk through the territory of the Count.
I usually avoid the whole county because I don't want to get too involved... but it can't possibly change that much from what I know about the city. The people you go out with are normal, and there doesn't seem to be any particular anomaly.
There may be a slight number of soldiers coming and going... If we go to the soldiers' quarters, there's a chance we'll hear something. Do you need to get back near the outer wall then?
We might be able to hear similar rumors by the time we arrive, and we should start moving.
Even if things are normal in the city, it is possible that the problem is happening outside the outer walls. Bandits, demons, and other matters of concern to the Lords.
As I watched the city as I conceived, I saw the soldiers walking as they talked. I take him up and walk in the direction of the stuffing.
Quickly tail the soldiers.
Once allowed to enter the alley side and make it irregular, it takes a bit of a lead.
The shadow of the building and the clutter were sewn into Cadkeus at a time when their movement overlapped. So let's talk while we tail him.
So you found them all?
"Oh. So, well, that's not a relief. Henry was delighted."
"That was good, but where were you hiding after all?
"It's a barn near the outer wall. I thought you were gonna look at the gap and get out of town.
And I can hear those soldiers talking.
Hmm. Someone ran away or something... is that what you're talking about? In the end, Byron doesn't seem to matter.
"Then you were right to look outside the wall."
"I was supposed to walk around in the snow because of that. I really want to go back and get dressed and warm up."
"I'm making a scene. I can't believe we're running away together."
"Absolutely."
Running away in a group......?
In the meantime, I guess it's less urgent to see where everyone says they've been found. My father must have prioritized coming here because he got that report, too. Well, King Melvin's coming was quite a bit of content, so as a father, I think it's a lot harder to come and go within the realm.
"So, you did that for some reason, right?
"That's... I'm not trying to tell you. I'm protecting it in a jar now... but there's a reason for that."
"Parents, what?
"I have business or something, and they're paying for it. I'm looking for a destination right now."
While I was listening to that, I arrived at the soldiers' stuffing.
Hmm. Translated mass runaways, huh? I'm not a Harmeln whistle-blower, but there's no such thing as demons or demons with the ability to be close to such brainwashing, and isn't there enough information to reassure you yet?
Let Cadkeus move away from the soldiers and slide the darkness of the ceiling to sew through the gaps in stone.
I know the structure inside the stuffing. He said protection, but to avoid escape, he would be locked away in a deep place. It won't be a cell because it's only protection.
Then it will be a room that fits the conditions and where the watch stands.
Moving inside the stuffing... I found it. It fits the conditions, and there are two watchmen standing. Maybe that room.
Move Cadkeus slowly, taking care not to be noticed on the lookout. from the gap above the door, filamentous to the interior.
Break in to inject from outside the room into the inside, stretching Cadkeus' body thinly unnoticed.
... All right. They are not noticed on the lookout or by those inside the room.
The room seemed to have been originally used as a storeroom, with clutter placed. There was an old couch in the back of it, where five children were solidified. Sounds like you made space in a hurry.
One girl in four boys. I guess there's no heating in the storage, but the kids are wrapped in a given blanket, and they seem to be serving warm drinks. You don't look cold for now.
"... what are we going to do, Carter? They caught me like this."
"I'm thinking of an escape hand right now."
Leadership boy - Carter replied to the boy who leaks a weak voice. There is no precipitation or stray in that response.... I see. I guess it does make sense.
"What about that window?
One person says by showing the lighting window in the corner of the storage.
"Don't be too expensive. If you move or load things, you'll be able to watch them with sound."
"Honestly speaking...?
"You can't do that. Daryl's... if you eavesdrop on that story and say what we decided to do, Daryl would be annoyed, right?
... Is Daryl's name coming up here? But he's not talking about Daryl instigating it or anything like that.
When I sorted it out, Daryl told someone something and they heard it. Does that mean that I decided to run away from home in a group because of that story…?
"So you guys, don't just give me Daryl's name."
"Okay."
"I'll never tell you"
The boys and girls nod at Carter's words, saying so.
"I'll bring the dads, will I?
"Maybe. This might make you feel like listening."
"I don't know..."
That's what Carter said. He shook his head to the side.
"Even if we get out... will Master Theodore see us?"
"I don't know. But even if my dad didn't mean to, we have to go. It feels like I heard about Darryl, watching Harold and Cynthia... I'm sure you'll listen to me... I think so."
... right? Oh, okay. I get it.
Indeed, Darryl... after my friendship improves, I want you to do something about the people.
Did you say you wanted me to come visit your mother in front of her grave, or did you just go and ask her what she thinks and what she's going to do about that time?
I don't know how far Darryl's story went... but I guess they heard the story.
To clamp the parents' backs? Or to apologize to me on their behalf? Or disobedience. Sometimes, after we already had a parent-child fight. Anyway, it turns out he ran away and tried to see me.
... Darryl also has an out-of-the-box anxiety disorder, or is he being prescriptive?
Darryl was sitting in his living room drinking tea when he came back from cleaning his grave... maybe he hasn't heard from his father.
I also know that my father may have some conjecture from the touch on the faces of the runaways, but he won't tell me anything more than he can't see the whole story. I'm getting a percentage concern about my relationship with the residents.
I know that there is a part of me that is distorted... and that the people around me are worried about it.
I'm not willing to do anything from me, and I'm not expecting anything from you because you and your people have different positions and power relations. That's all.
First, the children who ran away from home were the children of the parties…. I don't even think about asking for that much responsibility. Though...
- Darryl.
"Hmm? What?
When I call my first name, Daryl looks at this one. You're not saying anything to me because nothing's turned out yet? That's right. From Darryl's point of view, we're talking about a percentage delicate machine. But whatever the outcome, it won't matter how Daryl behaves or feels.
"No...... Thanks for everything."
When he closed his eyes and said so with a slight grin, Daryl had a strange look on his face without knowing what he had been told.
