Boundary Labyrinth and the Foreign Magician

A small incident in Count 554 territory.

"Mm, you're coming to the grave tomorrow, too, right?

"If you say Theodore is good."

Of course.

And I'll tell Darryl a story that seems unconnected like it's subtly connected. I think it's time for Dad to move... but it's snowing and I'll tell him I'm taking him to the city entrance. Thinking about various steps here, there was also movement at Carter's place in the stuffing room.

"All right...... Your body's warming up, and we'll figure out a way to get out."

Says Carter, who drank out the contents of the cup and exhaled.

"Carter, I've been thinking. Maybe not for all of us, but if it's just one, I don't know if I can get away with it. Anyway, I wish I could see one of you, Mr. Theodore."

"I don't know if that's true. Just one person... did you come up with a good idea?

Carter said, the boy finally laughed at him.

"Look. You've got a little broken helmet and armor there. You wore that... so..."

And, the boy and girl solidify and start an operational meeting.

"I see. Then maybe we need to bring people in."

"Then block the entrance and break that window."

"Oh. Then I guess I can go"

And, the kids are seriously working out a way out. Hmm. It's a subtle line to see if it works... not a bad idea.

Where Carter equipped himself with a set of armor, the children moved out as per the meeting.

We all work together to move the sofa or table carefully in front of the door so as not to make any noise. And when Carter got to the placement, one of them took an affordable size brick from inside the storage. It would be a building material for repair. Throw it - into a window where the boy is shaken and high.

The windowsill broke and a loud noise sounded. I throw it again and strike brilliantly, trying to break all the remaining vitreous in the window frame. Good control inside.

Each of the boys moves out in a hurry. So let's move what's in the storage and build a scaffold that can stand against the wall and reach the window.

"Watch out for the fragments!

"Oh!"

"Hey! What's that noise!?

The sound of a broken window or moving objects in the storage area quickly became the spotlight of the outside watch. But even if I turn the knob, the sofa or table placed in front of the wooden door can't come in the way.

"You leave things behind the door! Totally... they're the ones who burn their hands!

"I'm calling everyone! Break down every door!

There are two watchmen, a footstep that leaves one running on the spot. In the meantime, the kids are focused on scaffolding. Outside got noisy as soon as possible.

Did I just say a soldier's stuffing on a boulder around here? Acting quickly.

"Don't stand in front of the door because it's dangerous!

And when the shock struck the door twice and three times while paying attention to the children inside, the door was broken without a shrink. I can make gaps that people are likely to get in. If we stick our hands in from there and force him to move what was in his way, the barricade ceased to make sense of it, and the soldiers came into the storeroom unwittingly. Footsteps called dotados and the sound of things falling out echo in the room.

And - what the soldiers saw there was a scene where the children were scaffolding and reaching for a window high up. But there were three people gathered there. Soon the soldiers realize that.

"Hey! Not enough of you two!?

"Dude, you got away from that window frame gap!? It's a trap and it's not supposed to open!?

"You think kids can go through...? Shit, leave a lookout here and look outside!

... is the ploy of the boys. The soldiers' attention is drawn to their appearance as they gather in a broken window to escape.

A little girl hides in a blanket in the shadow of a barrel, and Carter, the biggest of them all, wears an armor helmet, joins him as he lurks near the door and sneaks up on the soldiers to be disputed. And escaped pretending to go looking for him in a crisp way, he said.

Not a bad idea in there. If it's difficult to escape, just let it open from the outside.

Is there anything that makes it easier for me to encounter when you come out of the other side?

So listening to Carter and knowing what's going on... well, even this one makes it easier to move. If you want to meet me and talk, let's go ask.

My father nodded when I said it was snowing and my mother's house was on the outside of the wall, so I would take her to the city entrance.

I'm sorry.

"No. I mean escort to the city"

"We'll be with you."

"Oh."

So Grace and the others are with us. Because the content is content, and at least Carter and the others don't seem to be malicious... they want to talk to everyone and ask for their opinions. I want you to come with me.

I take a few carriages carrying bedding from the Count's house and head back to the territory. As I was going down a snowy street, my father talked to me.

"Theodore."

"What is it"

"I also know that there is certainty between you and the inhabitants. Even for me, if we're going to be honest... there are some complicated emotions."

"... Yes"

Still, I don't punish you... because it's also a burden that my father himself couldn't make, and I guess he doesn't think it's up to the lord to punish him for his personal affair later. Because my dad does that, there's a place where I can't help hitting them with emotions, either. Even Grace would.

If they were told at that time that something had been done, there was actually nothing. I understand that I did everything I could to protect myself or my family.

"- If they say they want to visit Lisa's grave... what do you guys think?

That's what my father asked me and Grace. I don't know if you know Darryl's move, or if someone on the party is talking to him or consulting him. At least it won't be with Carter and the others moving.

"Grace... what do you think?

Asking Grace, she gently frowned and shook her eyebrows.

"That's all I care about. I don't want you to come if that's just the shape."

Nodding at Grace's words. Right. That's the same for me.

"Basically, I have the same idea as Grace. Some parts of it will be more difficult to move because my position has changed. I wonder if I'll have to listen and decide what I think of my mother, not me."

"Right..."

That's what Dad said and closed his eyes. Daryl also has eyes that look a little farther.

"Is that why you should say. If you want to talk, I'll listen to whatever it is, and even if it's disappointing, I won't do anything to respond with violence…"

When I looked at Grace, she nodded whether she had convinced me of my opinion, too. Yeah. Do you want to talk to everyone about it here later and get their opinions? You'd better tell old Siegmund, Valentina and Rosetta, too. Well, does that mean it's for everyone in the end?

"Okay."

And my father nods quietly. I don't know if the specific story is moving, etc... let's not ask now.

If that's the case, he'll tell you when he decides he should talk... and if he doesn't talk, or thinks he shouldn't talk to me, then this story just ends here. Whatever Carter's trying to tell me... he's not a party.

Speaking of what the Carter is doing now... he seems to have managed to escape the blockage after being dispersed by the soldiers moving to find the escaped child. I have Cadkeus sticking with me. I know the movement.

Naturally, Carter will be peeking at the opportunity to make his way to his mother's house near the gate... so if we do well, we'll see each other soon.

Eventually the carriage arrives at the gates of the city of Count Gartner territory. Once we get down there and drop it off... well, will Carter notice?

And, when he arrives at the gate, the soldiers come running and whisper something to his father. Maybe they're talking about the kid escaping.

Not that it's a big case... but my dad has a lot to worry about and prepare for.

"... ok. I'll be right there."

And he answers the soldiers and turns to me.

"See you later, Theodore. We'll send another carriage to Lisa's house when this one's ready."

"Yes. Later, then"

Talking like that in front of the carriage, near the gate - it looks like Carter, lurking in the alley, noticed me too. Maybe he was going to tell me that he was searching the alley if other soldiers were to blame.

"Hmm, what's wrong?

"No...... I saw someone I knew, so I thought I'd say a few greetings when my dad went, and then I'd go back."

"Hmm, right. The other carriage should be used to get around."

"Okay. I'll take care of you here."

"Uhm."

As his father nodded, he took the carriage to the soldiers' stuffing. Well, since Carter's search has to be a big deal, it would be nice to keep in touch with your father when he's talking to Carter on his comms. I have some stories in the carriage earlier, and I think my father and Darryl will be relieved.

I see the carriage has gone, and I approach Carter. From Carter's point of view, he looked greatly surprised because the person he was looking for approached him from the other side.

"Hello"

"Oh, huh? Yeah, the..."

And I turned my grin to Carter, who looked confused. I guess it's a good idea to decide that we're friends for now and go to a place where we can calm down and listen.
