Meanwhile, on Alex’s side, he watched as a woman appeared at the edge of the lake.
The moment he got a good look at her face, Alex felt his heart almost stop beating in his chest. This woman was so beautiful that it seemed unfair to the entire world. She was easily one of the most beautiful women he had ever seen.
Even compared to Nyx who was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, this woman’s beauty was on a whole other level.
Her long luscious hair that resembled the color of molten silver flowed down her back, shining beneath the setting sun with a radiant glow that could make anyone watching her think she was a goddess descended from the heavens.
Alex stared at it for several seconds, wondering whether that was even her natural hair color?
Her eyes were a strange grey-silver color, carrying an almost otherworldly depth. As for her facial features, let’s just say they were so flawless that they almost seemed unreal.
It’s not merely that she was beautiful, but there was this something about her appearance that made the word beautiful feel insufficient. Like that word was utterly beneath her.
Her body itself was equally extraordinary, with proportions that seemed almost too perfect to be true if he weren’t currently seeing this with his own two eyes. The curves were off the charts. Her boobs were bountiful but didn’t sag or droop, and her waist and hips could not be explained in a few words.
Just to describe such beauty would take a long time. Alex remained completely still. He was lucky that the woman didn’t seem to notice him.
She was instead focused on carefully removing her outer clothing before unhurriedly stepping into the warm, refreshing water. As Alex watched the scene unfolding before his eyes, his expression became increasingly awkward.

He slowly turned his head away.
He didn’t know who this woman was, and considering everything that had happened today, he had no intention of creating another problem.
Then the system suddenly appeared beside him. Unlike earlier, the little chibi’s face was filled with apprehension.

He glanced at her.
"Yes, what?"
[Well, if you don’t want to see the pearly gates up there, I suggest you quickly get out of this lake]
Alex frowned. He did know why the system suddenly wanted him to get as far away as possible, but that didn’t mean he wanted to find out now. It was best he gets the hell out of here and asks questions later.
But the universe in all it’s power had it’s way of always screwing someone’s life.
Just as Alex was about to use void step and teleport away from here, the woman’s beautiful silver eyes suddenly glanced toward his direction, before Alex finally vanished and appeared several hundred meters away from the lake, without even caring that he was still naked.
...Back at the lake, the silver-haired woman remained completely still for several seconds after Alex disappeared, with her eyes remaining fixed on the spot where he had been standing, as though she was trying to understand what had just happened.
She had initially thought she had sensed something unusual near the lake, like a fish or something, but she had never expected to discover that it was actually a man hiding nearby.
The realization slowly settled in. The man must have probably seen her while she was bathing. The only reason he vanished must be because he realized that he had been caught.
Her beautiful face, which had previously remained calm and indifferent, gradually became colder, as the surprise that had previously been in her eyes disappeared, replaced by an instead dark expression.
Never in all her life had she ever allowed anyone to see her in such a vulnerable state. Yet that man had just seen her right now.
Her silver-grey eyes gradually darkened with rage.
Without saying anything, she turned toward the clothes she had discarded beside the lake and quickly put them back on. Her movements were far faster than those of an ordinary person, and within seconds, she had completely dressed herself.
She then glanced toward the direction in which Alex had disappeared. A terrifying murderous glint flashed through her eyes.
The next moment, her figure suddenly vanished.
The surrounding trees violently shook as she shot through the forest at a speed far beyond anything one had ever witnessed. Branches snapped apart like match sticks as she passed, while leaves were blown into the air by the force of her movement.
Meanwhile, Alex had already traveled several hundred more meters away from the lake. He only slowed down after thinking that the woman had not immediately followed him.
Then he finally released the long breath he had been holding in since, and rubbed his forehead.
"What a crazy day."
First, Nyx had been taken away by her family. Then he had learned about the Great Families. He had fought Caelan and nearly died.
Afterward, he had come here hoping to have some peace and quiet, only to encounter another mysterious woman who had somehow managed to frighten even his cheeky system.
Alex shook his head.
"At least that’s over."
He only took a few more steps before suddenly feeling something strange. Alex stopped and slowly looked down.
His expression froze. He was completely naked.
"...Damn it." He had been so focused on escaping that he had completely forgotten about his current state.
Alex immediately summoned a clean set of clothes from his Spatial Storage Space and quickly put them on.
"There we go." He adjusted his shirt and sighed in relief. "Much better."
However, before he could take another step, his body instinctively tensed as he felt the presence of someone behind him.
Turning around, he saw the silver-haired woman walking toward him.
Alex’s pupils contracted.
"You’re kidding me."
Though she was moving at a very ordinary pace, each step she took seemed to make the surrounding atmosphere feel heavier, all of a sudden.
Her silver-grey eyes were fixed directly on him. And they contained an unmistakable murderous glint within them.
The moment Alex met her gaze, his entire body trembled unconsciously.
Then an invisible force emanating from her gaze suddenly descended upon him, causing the ground beneath his feet to crack.
Alex’s face immediately turned pale as his body was forced downward by an overwhelming pressure. His knees slowly bent, and his muscles strained desperately to resist the incoming force that seemed to be coming from all directions.
"Cough!" A thick mouthful of blood escaped his lips and his breathing became heavier as he struggled to remain standing.
What the hell was this woman?
Alex could tell that the woman hadn’t even released her Primordial Essence aura. All she was doing was to simply look at him.
Yet the murderous intent contained within her gaze alone was enough to make his body tremble and force him toward the ground. Did the universe really hate him that much? First it was Caelan, now it’s this mysterious woman, then what next if he managed to survive this.
Alex clenched his teeth tightly. There was no way he could stay here any longer, so he activated Void Step.
In front of the woman’s eyes his body instantly disappeared from its original position.
Then several kilometers away, the space distorted as Alex suddenly reappeared.
He staggered slightly upon landing and immediately took several deep breaths.
"That should..."
Before he could finish speaking, his expression changed.
A silver-haired figure appeared several meters away. The damn woman had caught up with nothing but pure speed.
Alex stared at her in disbelief.
"How did you..."
He didn’t bother finishing that question, because there was no point.
He immediately activated Void Step again and his body vanished once more before reappearing much farther away.
This time, Alex didn’t even bother looking behind him, he continued moving. But less than a second later, a fast breeze moved past him and a familiar figure appeared in front of him.
Alex’s heart sank. It was the damned woman. And she had just crossed several kilometers almost instantaneously without breaking a sweat.
His Void Step, which had always been one of his greatest advantages, meant absolutely nothing in face of her monstrous speed.
The woman stared at him coldly and said in an icy voice.
"How dare you use those perverted eyes of yours to secretly peek at me while I was naked."
Alex’s expression immediately changed.
"What, me?" You’re terribly mistaken, lady. I didn’t peep at you."
The woman narrowed her eyes.
"Then why were you there?"
"I was already there before you even arrived."
Alex quickly explained.
"I was the first person in that lake. I only came there because I needed somewhere quiet after everything that happened today, and I was taking a good swim when you suddenly decided to enter the lake."
The woman’s expression remained cold. Alex continued before she could interrupt.
"I was definitely not spying on you. I didn’t even know you were going to come."
The woman stared at him.
"Liar."
Alex’s mouth twitched.
"Believe me if you want but I’m telling you the truth."
"Then explain something to me."
She took another step forward.
"If you weren’t a peeping Tom, why did you immediately run away after I discovered you?"
Alex opened his mouth and paused. Then he eventually sighed and said.
"Because I didn’t want to create a misunderstanding."
"The reason I disappeared is because I didn’t want to see your body if you suddenly decided to come out of the water afterward. It wasn’t exactly my fault that you happened to catch sight of me before I could disappear."
The woman remained silent.
Alex decided that he might as well explain everything.
"Besides, I already have someone I like, so I’m really not interested in looking at other women."
The woman’s expression changed slightly.
Her murderous gaze gradually became less intense. For several seconds, she didn’t say anything.
She just stood there, looking directly at him.
