Kong Airou’s eyes turned red from hatred, but she held back and shouted, "Fine! I would do it! But swear on your life that you will share this secret of mine with anyone."
"I swear that until and unless you or your subordinate intentionally provokes me or special circumstances arise, I won’t reveal the truth."
Kong Airou pointed at Ni Mengxue, but she could only leave after saying, ’Fine’.
Just as Ni Mengxue turned around, she almost bumped into Jiao Ji. Frowning, she created some distance and asked coldly, "How may I help you, young master, Jiao?"
Jiao Ji gave a weak smile and asked, "Xue’er, are you angry that I didn’t arrive at our secret spot 20 days before?"
Ni Mengxue arched her brow. "Do I know?"
"Looks like you have truly lost your memory." A trace of sorrow flashed in Jiao Ji’s almond eyes. It might have made any woman wonder what kind of grievance such a handsome man might have suffered.
However, Ni Mengxue didn’t feel anything. For her... Lu Yucai was enough... or to be precise, just the four lovers from her past life were enough.

He didn’t finish, but his words were ambiguous.
Ni Mengxure grinned. "Really? That’s sad. I will take my leave first."

He watched as she left, and his gaze narrowed. Previously, she used to ignore him... but now... her eyes seemed to have been filled with indifference. Was he so undesirable that even after losing her memory, she didn’t want him?

"Mengxue, you are finally here. I am here to inform you that we are participating in the upcoming zombie horde and won’t be here for the next 3 days." Ruo Chiwu explained.
"Hm? How do you know that a zombie horde is about to arrive?" Ni Mengxue asked curiously.
"Divination master Tian Ji saw it. She had even predicted that first we would face a wave of mutated rodents and asked the military to guard the south gate. Then on the 2nd night, we will finally face the zombie horde."
"I see. Take care." Ni Mengxue nodded. She wasn’t in a condition to fight, and her hubby was still injured.
"Also, I have assigned someone else to get you the information about the lab you had asked me to find. They will deliver it within 2 days." Ruo Chiwu finished speaking and left.
On entering the apartment, Ni Mengxue plopped onto the sofa and took the report on Cai Shu.
The reason why Kong Airou complied with her request was that this time, Ni Mengxue had gotten hold of her huge secret.
Kong Airou was a man, and he was involved in a few shady businesses. He was also a pervert who loved to torture males and has, till now, harmed 536 innocent men.
As long as his identity was released, many men might protest; some would even try to take his life. Worst-case punishment: he would die; best-case punishment: his arms and legs would be crushed, and he would be thrown into a zombie horde.

Other than that, the only noticeable incident was that one of her husbands filed a case against her, stating that she was very superstitious and that she had killed her 4th husband because of it.
The leads went cold from there, and nothing else stood out in her profile.
Closing the report, she murmured, "For now, this small chaos would keep her busy. Once I gain more allies... I will take revenge."
The next 2 days, Ni Mengxue solidified her powers, made medicines for Lu Yucai, and did a bit of research.
On the third day, the doorbell rang, and when she opened the door, she heard a familiar voice.
"Miss Ni, nice to meet you again. I am here to deliver things. By the way, is Brother Yucai here? I want to discuss something with him."
