"If my brother dares to marry, I, Amber Edwards, will cause such a scene that their wedding will never happen! Unless I’m dead, Emily Lancaster can forget about entering the Edwards Family! Forget about being my sister-in-law!"

Amber Edwards turned to Father Edwards, "Between Emily Lancaster as your daughter-in-law and me as your daughter, you can only choose one. The same goes for my brother; he can only choose either his sister or Emily as his wife! In the Edwards Family, it’s either me or her! If you dare let her step into the Edwards Family, I’ll die to show you!"

After saying this, Amber didn’t wait for Emily and ran off.

Father Edwards stomped his foot repeatedly in frustration, "This child, I’ve spoiled her rotten!"

Father Lancaster stood there, clearly troubled by Amber’s outburst.

He hadn’t expected Amber to be smart enough to hand the plan over to Emily personally.

He didn’t expect that the excuse he’d come up with would be unusable.

"Old Lancaster, you see my beloved daughter, her temper has truly been spoiled by me, and her brother spoils her too. I have only one daughter, and I can’t let her get into life-or-death fights because of her sister-in-law, right? So, Old Lancaster, let’s just forget about the marriage of the two families. Your daughter Emily is obedient and clever, marrying into our family would be doing her a disservice. You see Amber’s rotten temper can’t get along with Emily, the relationship between them will bring chaos to our family in the future?"

Father Edwards looked regretful, "The child just ran out like that, and I don’t know where she’ll go in her anger. I won’t say much more to you now; I have to go after that child. If she goes and does something rash, what will I do?"

Afterwards, Father Edwards didn’t even take a sip of tea and hurriedly chased after her.

Amber didn’t go anywhere; she just sat in the car waiting for Father Edwards.

When Father Edwards got in the car, Amber was on the phone, still furious from her run, but now she was laughing. As soon as she saw Father Edwards, she quickly said, "Dad’s here, I have to hang up."

Then she sat there with a sullen face, saying nothing.

Father Edwards closed the car door and instructed the driver to drive. After leaving the Lancaster Family’s residence, Father Edwards asked Amber, "Just now, were you on the phone with your brother?"

Amber turned her head towards the car window and acted as if she hadn’t heard.

"Did your brother teach you those lines?" Father Edwards continued to ask.

Seeing Amber still not responding, Father Edwards glared at her, "All this drama, like a shrew, your brother is setting you up, and you’re happily counting money for him."

"I don’t mind, as long as he doesn’t marry Emily Lancaster, I’m fine with it," Amber said, "That Emily is now my number one enemy."

"I’ve made it clear to President Lancaster, your brother and Emily Lancaster’s marriage is off," Father Edwards sighed, "Your brother is this old and still not married; he deserves to have his marriage sold to the company. Amber, let me be clear: if you follow your brother’s example, don’t blame the family later if your marriage is put on sale too."

Before Amber could even celebrate, she was splashed with a bucket of cold water by those words.

Amber gritted her teeth, "Then find me someone like little Jane’s husband. If you choose a husband like that for me, then an alliance marriage, whatever, even a hundred times is fine."

Father Edwards was so angry he almost fainted.

"Take a look in the mirror; you think a hundred alliances are beautiful dreams; even if I begged until my head was sore, I couldn’t arrange one for you. In another two years, if you’re still not married, I’ll find you an alliance with someone old enough to be your father," Father Edwards scolded, filled with disappointment.
