"Then accompany Dad and have a good time for a few days. When his vacation ends, buy a ticket and come back," James Black listened to Jane Sampson’s cheerful response on the other end of the phone, hesitated for a moment, and called out to the woman on the line.

"He’s not mad at all. He said he’ll take me to eat hotpot when I get back!" Jane Sampson replied joyfully, "James Black is wonderful; he told me to spend quality time with Daddy."

Everyone understood the underlying meaning of Jane Sampson’s words.

This hotpot seemed to be the carrot James Black used to lure Jane Sampson back to Capital Province.

"You don’t necessarily have to go back to Capital Province to eat hotpot. After your daddy’s vacation, let your mother and brother take you. While you don’t have work, enjoy and have fun," said Father Carter.

James Carter, sitting there with curved eyebrows, smiled.

"Alright, stop teasing Jane. If her heart really gets stirred, see how anxious James Black will become in Capital City," Granny Carter felt very fulfilled having been able to live with her granddaughter for such a long time.

Jane Sampson wasn’t dignified, but she was generous, loved lively situations, had a good temper, could focus on learning when needed, had great patience, and was willing to accompany the elderly.
