Chapter 2504 - 2512: There Is a Connection
The mansion is truly massive; everyone has been here more than half an hour, just wandering around the outer courtyard. Once they truly step into the Viewing Garden, they find it dazzling beyond compare.
"If one day I could bring a drawing board here and live for a few days, capturing the beauty here in my artwork, I’d surely wake up laughing from my dreams," a man about forty years old suddenly exclaimed as he walked, "I’ve always heard how beautiful Viewing Garden is, but really, hearing about it is mere frog-in-a-well talk. Only by genuinely approaching this little southland can one feel its true allure."
"Indeed, no idea who the owner is. If our brand’s new product could be launched at Viewing Garden this time, it would be fantastic—mountains, rivers, bird songs, floral aromas, antique ambiance—all perfectly match our new product’s theme."
"My sister’s advertisement agency has always wanted to shoot an ad at Viewing Garden regardless of cost, but unfortunately, they haven’t managed to book a time. My sister was so envious knowing I could join the Bright Light Investment Attraction Conference team today afternoon to visit. She has set her sights on this place for two years but hasn’t had the chance to see it."
Suddenly, someone called out to Jillian Carter.
"Miss Carter, I’ve heard there are some ties between Viewing Garden and the Carter Family, is that true?" someone called out, asking Jillian Carter, who was standing next by, looking like she was watching a drama.
Jillian Carter then stepped forward and replied directly, "Yes, Viewing Garden and the Carter Family indeed have connections. Uncle Worthington, who manages Viewing Garden, watched me grow up."
That one sentence left everyone gasping in amazement.
"Miss Carter is truly a hidden gem. Miss Carter must come to Viewing Garden often?" someone asked.
"Naturally," Jillian Carter said, looking at everyone with their envious eyes on her, feeling a sudden surge of superiority.
What others dream of, for her, is merely a sentence.
"I’m just planning next spring for West Crossing’s new product launch to be held at Viewing Garden. By then, if everyone doesn’t mind, you can come and support, and I, representing Viewing Garden, welcome everyone’s arrival."
Those words from Jillian Carter received enthusiastic applause from everyone.
"Miss Carter, may I ask a favor for my sister? Could you please speak to Mister Worthington, give my sister an opportunity, would that be possible?"
"Let’s exchange contact information shortly. Have your sister reach out to me, and I’ll speak to Butler Worthington for her; such a small matter is no problem," Jillian Carter agreed without much thought.
"I’ll thank you on behalf of my sister then!" the boy next to her gratefully said.
Meanwhile, at the back of the crowd, Coco Edwards and Jane Sampson were listening, dumbfounded.
"Who gives Jillian Carter the audacity to agree so boldly? Calling it a small matter?" Coco Edwards gave Jane Sampson a nudge, "Is it Ultraman who gives her courage?"
"Plus, she claims next spring West Crossing will hold the press conference here. Can a company as small as West Crossing afford this venue’s rent? Even if they could pay, if you say one word, she wouldn’t even make it through the door, no?" Coco Edwards truly wanted to brand ’ridiculous’ with reinforced concrete onto Jillian Carter’s prideful face.
"Little Jane, we should set our spring clothes press release here right after the year ends this year, to anger that shameless Jillian Carter." Coco Edwards spat several times, "Why should we help cover for someone without a face anymore?"
