Channel Master - Act 1

“I just got here. I'm going straight to the Grand Pavilion. I'll call you later. Bye. ”

Hansoo toured the university landscape for the first time since she was discharged, and in two years, the university campus was intact. There was not a single place that changed. A university that my friends attended said every day was new, with investments being made, such as building new buildings and establishing a laboratory, but one number of universities did not have investments like this two years ago.

Even though it's in Seoul, it's so rural, and it's even lower than the local National Guard. 'Was there such a university in Seoul?’ It was a bystander.

Hansoo smiled unknowingly while looking at the group of female freshmen who looked far away.

A yellow ribbon-shaped tie on an angled, white shirt extending to a fitted miniskirt halfway up her thigh made her recognize herself as a student in aviation services.

Hansoo touches his head with a dejected face for a moment. Though I wanted to call it short, sporty hair, Tina looked like military hair that was hit with 3mm.

I grew my own hair after I was sergeant in college, but I had to shave my head after eating in a restaurant three days before I was discharged. I was lucky not to go, but I am close to a trainee who is just about to join the military.

“Phew, let's start studying properly this year. ”

Hansoo resolved to go to Hyeongcheol.

Hyeongcheol was a high school operated town. It is designed for students preparing various public examinations as well as judicial and administrative notices.

There were very few archaeologists here because they not only applied to students, but also to holiday students and graduates.

Hansoo passed by the library on his way to the Grand Palace.

The library was still full of people, even though it was still over a month away from opening class.

Hansoo shakes his head.

They were all pupils of discovery.

The youth unemployment rate has skyrocketed and students preparing for civil service examinations have been increasing.

There was a time when Hansoo was a student of the Constitution before he went to the military. I studied sparkling for half a year and then came to the military, but I felt sorry for those who were studying nonstop.

“Phew, this country is a shithole. There's no going back. ”

Hansoo shakes his head.

Politicians were dividing and changing, and the government knew that dogs looked like chickens, so their lives were getting tougher every day.

“I wish someone would make it a great country to live in. ”

It was time to kick my tongue through the library.

“Huh? Hansoo! You're Hansoo, right? ”

Hansoo turns his head to the sound of calling to himself.

Turning around, I saw a mature beauty who looked like she was in her late twenties with a relaxed look on her face.

“Are you asking for me? Who are you?”

She smiles brightly and gracefully approaches.

“Hey! Strong! It's been a long time. By the way, you told me you were going to the army to call me. You haven't texted, have you? No matter how busy you are. You changed your cell phone number so you couldn't contact me. Otherwise, my sister took the time to visit once · · · · · · ·. ”

Hansoo rolls his head hard as he looks at her chattering. However, no matter how hard I searched the memory, I couldn't find anyone who looked like her.

Eventually Hansoo opened his mouth carefully.

“I'm sorry, who are you? ”

“Huh? Don't I know you? I'm Min-seo, Park Min-seo. Don't you remember? ”

“Seo, you can't be Min-seo's sister. Are you the Minseo sister I know? ”

Hansoo opened his eyes wide.

However, she knew Park Min-suh and this Min-suh sister were never a match.

Min-su narrowed his eyes and glanced at him.

“You don't like that look? Why didn't you recognize me? ”

“Yes · · · · · · · · · · · ·. ”

Minseo in his memory was quite different from Minseo's appearance.

I was always wearing dragonfly glasses that were much bigger than my eyes and my outfit was so free. A stretchy cotton shirt with a stretch of neck on it from her knees, that was always her stubborn outfit.

But Min-su was avoiding showing me everything in the office now. It was a black skirt on a white t-shirt, and the fitted clothes made the curved S line stand out.

There was a reason why Hansoo did not recognize the pore blemishes because they were all wearing makeup that was thick enough to hide them.

Hansoo smiled and said with a natural smile.

“You look so beautiful. You're completely different from when I met you at the palace. ”

“Oh, because you didn't have makeup and you didn't decorate it. Did you graduate from college? ”

“Yes, what about you? Did you get a job? ”

She was the sister who had taken a leave of absence from the university and was only hung up on preparing for the civil service exam. But right now, the outfit is the perfect Career Woman at first sight.

She smiles at Hansoo.

“No, I don't want a job. You haven't heard. I passed my civil service exam last year. We're hiring right now. I came here for an appointment, and I ran into you. ”

Hansoo stared at Minseo, surprised to hear that she passed the civil service exam.

“Sis, did you really pass? ”

“Honey, why would I cheat you if it's not April Fools' Day? You're a long way from opening up. Are you planning to retake the · · · · · · · · government exam? ”

Hansoo nods forcefully.

“Oh, yes. You should.”

“Can you go to school and study? ”

Hansoo scratched his head and replied.

“I can't afford a vacation. Actually, she wants to get a job right after she graduates from college after she's done with her grades. But I've done it before, so I'm going to try again. ”

“I see.”

Hansoo stared at Minseo with jealous eyes.

A ninth-grade government official who wanted to be himself. I couldn't be jealous of Min-su when he became that official.

“It's Minseo.”

When Hansoo stood awkwardly, there was a voice calling out to Minseo from behind.

The two of them turned side-by-side, and there was a man coming at them with a loud voice. I smiled brightly at Minseo's face when I saw him.

“Brother Sung-hwan! ”

“I'm not late, am I? Have you been waiting long?”

“No. I was meeting my beloved successor and talking to him. Oh, hello. I used to know my successor at the Grand Palace. This is my boyfriend Choi Sung-hwan. ”

“Nice to meet you. It's called strong water.”

“You must be Minseo's successor. Nice to meet you, I'm Choi Sung-hwan. Thank you for keeping us cool until I got here. I'd love to talk more when I have time, but the movie's almost over. ”

“Already? Hansoo, I'm sorry, but we'll talk later. My phone number is the same, so please text me. I'll buy you some food.”

Hansoo waved his hands awkwardly looking at the two of them who had left quickly. And he had to be angry with only the mourning ground with his shoes tapped.

Then the phone rang. I checked my phone's liquid crystal, and it was my mom.

“I just got to school. I'll be in touch.”

[Not that. You know you have to be here tomorrow, right?]

“Tomorrow? Why? ”

[You were supposed to clean up Grandpa's storage tomorrow. Don't be late. Be there by 8: 00 a.m. Don't make any useless appointments. Go to Seong-cheon and come back right away.]

Hansoo frowns and replies, "Tidying up the storeroom."

“Can't you just leave me alone? I have an appointment today. ”

[If you don't come, you won't have any money. But if you don't mind, don't come.]

“Okay, I'm going. I'm coming!”

Hansoo hung up her phone with a bunch of crumpled faces.

Hansoo took courage thinking about Minseo for a while.

After becoming a Minseo to a class 9 government official, I thought I could become one just a little more.

I was going to pass before graduating because I was sober and studying hard enough as I was in the military.

In order to do that, I had to go to the prison.

It was a good place to live apart from my parents because they were good at supporting them and providing them with a room.

However, it was heartbreaking to think about the senior class in 00th and 04th who shared a room before the military.

Did they pass the civil service exam? Or are you still in prison?

What if they're still in prison?

It seemed like I was suffocating already. And it was a very awkward world in which young people were only allowed to take government exams.

*

Hansoo looked around the secretary's office, which he had found for a long time.

Back in the day, I thought I saw a raccoon cave full of cigarette smoke, but now I have a real office feeling that has been cleaned up well.

The secretary in horn-rimmed glasses looked at Hansoo and asked.

“You were here again last year? ”

“Yes, I quit while I was in the army. I just wanted to see if I could keep going. ”

“Can you hold on a second? Let me check. ”

“Yes, but you must be new. The former secretary. ”

A stranger said, raising his glasses.

“Are you talking about Seung Wook? He quit last year and set up Miracle PC next to the gate. If you go there, you'll see her. ”

“Aha, thank you. ”

“Please wait a moment. ”

Seong-wook was the senior secretary when Han-su was in Hyeongcheol province. He was the older brother who always stood at the top.

His brother was also preparing for the examination of a public official as secretary, but when he set up a PC room, the public official's examination seemed to have failed.

Meanwhile, the secretary, who was behind the academic books on the computer, sighed and said.

“That's right. You were a freshman, and you quit for the army. You want to retake the civil service exam? ”

Hansoo nods.

“Yes, I'm going to prepare as hard as I can. Why?”

“Well, last year, the principal's new position made it very difficult. You'll need to take the trial, and you'll need to submit a new Toei report in the last six months. ”

Sat, Toeik's report card? ”

Hansoo was impressed by the unexpected situation.

‘I've seen Toeik before, but it was last year? ’

I had seen Toik once before in the army.

However, my grades were miserable.

“Yes, the entrance exam is in five days. Toik needs to score at least 650 points. Wait, you've seen Toix? But didn't you study properly? ”

The secretary who was looking at the monitor frowned.

“When it's a freshman, it's all about playing. Oh, by the way, I'm sure you'll do just fine. What's wrong with that? ”

“I'm sorry, it's a lot different from last year. because we want to keep getting admissions every year because the school has increased support. Rather than wasting your time, you might as well get a job because you're good at managing your credit. ”

“Trial's in five days? ”

“Yes, do you want me to take over? You can submit your TOEIC statement before opening. ”

“I understand.”

Hansoo bit his lip.

I'm going to catch a reef from the start.

But I couldn't help it.
